This was a tough review because it depends how you eat these donuts! If you get one hot and from the back like we did at the time of the visit, incredible donut! If you eat these an hour later, they are still a good donut, but not sure they seperate themselves from the pack if that makes sense. We got both creme filled and regular donuts. The regular iced and glazed donuts were better than the creme filled in our opinion. Line was out the door! The staff worked well and got people in and out with their dozen donut orders at a time. I travel from Lancaster to get these donuts and they are just incredible! I have gone here as early as they opened and I've gotten them as late as the evening time and they are almost the same freshness. Since the decline of DD, with many locations no longer baking on premises, it's been hard to get good donuts, especially flavors that don't have chocolate or icing. I was so pleased to learn that Fresh Donuts had our favorite, lemon filled, and a wide variety of other flavors. All of them so far have been good, and their donuts are all so soft and fresh. It's a regular donut filled with peanut butter cream (reminds me of the icing on a chocolate peanut butter cake) and topped with chocolate glaze. It's amazing. I lived in Lebanon for a few years but moved about 7 years ago, I don't come back too often however I made this trip to Lebanon specifically to come here (almost an hour drive). There aren't too many fresh donut spots around unfortunately, this place holds up to its name! They make fresh donuts all day long! I got there around 11am and was lucky to find out they'd have donut holes coming out within 5 minutes! Of course I had to order some (sorry no photo) they were warm and delicious, I also ordered a bagel with cream cheese which they toasted, it was toasted perfectly for my liking (not too crispy, not too chewy) it took a while for them to serve it but that's fine, they have nonstop customers coming through the door. I also got a cup of coffee and a dozen donuts. The coffee was average but fresh, the donuts were exactly what I was craving! From strawberry to peanut butter filled and original glazed there wasn't a single donut that I didn't enjoy! If your in town definitely get breakfast (or a snack) here! They always have fresh donuts and are very kind and helpful, they are also very patient as you pick out the donuts you want. I will absolutely be coming back in the near future (prior to this visit it's Probobly been 5+ years since I've been here). read more

This place is very classic cute. I stopped there closer to closing and there was a few older gentleman sitting together drinking a cup of coffee shooting the breeze. The donuts are amazing. The strawberry shortcake is beyond words. If we are in that area we stop. It sounds like they even have some that are vegan but I will have to confirm that another time. The lady on the phone wasn't sure about all the kinds. One of the times I stopped it was late and the donuts were still soft and fresh. Best donuts ever. I love the French Crullers and, well, everything else they have as well. Thy are most definitely fresh. And the family that runs this place is wonderful. The nicest people ever. I've been In there getting donuts and "mama" would say " no, that's sat there for a while" but I still wanted it and she would just give it to me for free. And it was perfectly fine. Even the donuts that have sat there for a while are far better than the "fresh" ones you will get anywhere else. I was devastated when they had burned down several years ago and was so happy they rebuild. This place put Dunkin Donuts out of business that was located around the corner. read more
