    Donuts

Serving donuts 24/7 in some locations, these donuts are the old school, hot straight from the oven ones. The prices are reasonable. My go to when I venture here are the peanut butter and maple frosted donuts. The sweetness is perfect and the donut texture is still fresh/digestible three days later. Customer service was excellent and the ambiance is down to earth. Treat yourself!

This was my first visit to Maple Donuts while visiting York, PA (my fiancé's home town!). We ordered a donut and breakfast sandwich each. I got the coconut donut and he got the peanut butter donut. There is a huge selection of donuts and I was immediately overwhelmed upon the entering the shop. They had a lot of Christmas and holiday themed ones. My coconut donut was huge. It was super sweet and super good. My fiancé's donut was filled with a peanut butter-esque icing/filling. It was super sweet and only mildly peanut buttery. Four stars because the donuts could have been slightly fluffier (I'm splitting hairs here). My favorite part of this visit, surprisingly, was the breakfast sandwich! I think the eggs were actually made there (as opposed to being frozen). They were fluffy and airy - not really want you'd expect quality-wise from a donut shop! You have the choice of muffin, bagel, or croissant. We both went with croissant. It was moist but not soggy. Five stars for this breakfast sandwich! (See photos!)

There was a little tiny bug on my donut, I was about to eat it till I saw it crawling on the top of my cream filled chocolate donut I am never eating here again because I will never know if I'm only eating the donut or if I'm eating something fat more worse than a donut.

We stumbled upon this place after going to dinner at Mission BBQ in the same parking lot. My husband wanted something sweet and since he loves donuts as much as Homer Simpson, he had to get some here. There isn't anything fancy to the place. Just a simple donut shop with some regular and unique flavor choices. I was actually surprised to see this donut shop is open 24 hours. They sell individual donuts as well as donut holes. My husband ordered the chocolate custard (pretty much a Boston creme) and a couple of glazed donut holes that come in a set of four in one. I decided to get the sea salt caramel. My sister ordered two donuts herself. Our whole order of four regular donuts and two sets of the donutholes were about $5 and change. Quite the bargain. The donuts were very fresh even though we came around 8pm and stayed pretty fresh the next day as well. I really enjoyed the sea salt caramel and was my favorite of the bunch. We would probably stop by again in the future.

Maple Donuts rocks. This is a casual place with an incredible selection of fresh, delicious doughnuts. Seriously, I was thrilled walking in. The appearance is a casual diner from the 60's but with a doughnut selection that rivals some of the hipster spots, well sort of, at least in variety. They don't just have glazed, chocolate cake and powdered jelly like Dunkin Donuts would. Display case is loaded with options, and can't wait until I'm back in the region to try more. If you're looking for a donut or doughnut, however you want to spell the word, this place is where it's at. Look no further for fresh, tasty, inexpensive do/ugh/nuts.

We loved our donuts!! We tried two of Pumpkin flavored donuts and they were soooo good!! Thick, moist, and fresh. We love Krispy Kreme, but these are better!! I didn't think it got much better than that. This place has been in business for over 70 years so they're doing a lot right. We will be back!

Good donuts at good prices. Staff was smoking out front though so that's a bit of a turn off.

They were just not very friendly. Also, it's called Maple Donuts and not a maple bar to be found.

What I personally love about these doughnuts , it's the "layered " part. The croissant like mix between a doughnut and a flaky croissant. Definitely opting for a full dozen next time! Another thing that makes this place stand out , is there savory doughnuts . I got one of those too because I just had to try them.. lol. I couldn't stop eating them lol they are so good! By far, my favorite doughnut in PA. They also offer Gluten free & vegan doughnut options. Which is a huge plus, since my daughter is gluten free. She said "these are the best doughnuts I've ever had" ! The place is really nice , modern like warm Bakery / coffee shop feel. The service was great too. I waited a bit for the gluten free and savory doughnuts, but the employees were very good about letting me know that they would be coming out shortly, which was nice.
