Love the modern, elevated ambiance here! The warm tones and decor made the space feel so chic and the menu looked great across the board. I really appreciated the complimentary soy milk shot at the start of the meal and the soy soft serve at the end. Definitely had a lot of soy that day since I also ordered the kimchi & pork kongbiji but it was worth it. Very hearty and flavorful with a rich kimchi taste, and it was my first time trying this style of soup. While I liked it, I also tried some of my friend's tofu soup and honestly liked it much more. Definitely ordering that as my entree next time. Service was prompt and attentive throughout. The only small downside was the bathroom situation. Bathrooms were all clean individual rooms but I had multiple people aggressively jiggle my door handle trying to get in and push while I was inside. There are several bathrooms available so I was confused. I think some kind of occupied/vacant indicator on the door would help greatly. Bathroom mishap aside, I had a great experience here overall and enjoyed the food!

I just found my new favorite tofu house in Ktown! Dubu Haus specializes in dishes made from housemade tofu which they make fresh every day at the restaurant. After being seated, we were served complimentary soymilk freshly made and was thicker than I expected. I loved this concept since soymilk is the beginning stage of tofu making. We were served a nice assortment of banchans which they rotate so each time you come here, they will different. This was my first time seeing mushroom jelly. I asked for their most popular soondubu and it was the Prime Short Rib Soondubu and it did not disappoint. I also highly recommend ordering their 12-hour spicy braised prime short rib was so tender and flavorful. Don't let the size of the pot fool you, there was so much meat in here. For something light and refreshing, I also recommend trying their Perilla Oil Buckwheat Noodle with Bossam. We also had bossam as an appetizer. The pork belly is braised for 8 hours, thinly sliced and served with Napa cabbage, handmade Dubu, radish kimchi and are meant to all be wrapped together. At the end of the meal, everyone gets Dubu soft serve made of tofu, vanilla ice cream and bean powder and it was soo good! It looks modern and upscale inside and the service was exceptional so I was surprise to find the prices to be quite reasonable. This was my second time here and won't be my last!

Made a reservation on a Friday night for dinner was able to get seated while waiting for another friend to get here. The inside is very spacious and has really innovative and cool looking interior. The servers are very helpful and patient when we were ordering. They have some lunch specials that look pretty good also. Their maekgoli drinks are really good. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

100% recommend restaurant! Our friends mentioned this had the best sundubu that they had and we had to try it! It has a great price point - sundubu, rice, banchan, and soft serve at the end. Everything was delicious. We also tried the potato pajeon and my gosh, we loved!!! The ambiance was so luxurious and the service was amazing! They also have lunch specials that have out of this world deal. I would definitely come back for the food, ambiance, and service! I highly suggest making a reservation because it tends to be full!

Great tofu stew! The vegetarian one was absolutely delicious. They have three side dishes that are shellfish free. The portions are very generous too considering the price. The tofu ice cream at the end is even included. However it's not vegan and does have dairy in it. Service was great. So big inside.

Really tasty and outstanding value for money. The meal started with a complimentary taste of soy milk, which was rich and nutty. For my meal, I had the veggie soondubu, which was spicy, hearty, and fully of a variety of vegetables and tofu. There was also a pretty wide array of delicious banchan - the cabbage kimchi and peppers were my two favorites, but they were all delicious. My partner enjoyed the seafood soondubu as well. The meal ended with a bit of soy milk soft serve ice cream with roasted soybean powder. This was creamy, toasty, and light, serving as the perfect end to the meal. The bill came to just over $50 for two people after tax and tip. The service was also very warm and attentive.

I've been wanting to try Dubu Haus for a while, and it lived up to expectations! Reservations are a must - walk in waiting times on a Tuesday evening were about an hour. The soondubu here is really tasty - the broth is flavorful and kinda thick, and they're generous with the seafood and tofu. It would be nice if the spice level could be adjusted a bit, and I wish it came out at more of a rolling boil like BCD. I really enjoyed the banchan here - the kimchi & pickled radishes were standouts. Kimchi jeon here is also one of the best I've had. The restaurant is quite modern, spacious, and aesthetic. Definitely more upscale compared to BCD, but well worth the price.

Came for lunch on a Sunday with friends. We made a reservation the night prior and were seated right away. The ambiance was very upscale and nice. I had no expectations coming in as it was a rainy day and I just wanted something warm. I got the beef soondubu and it was really good! The portions are pretty big and of course unlimited banchan. We only got a refill of their lettuce kimchi since the entree was filling. You are welcomed in with a small, creamy soymilk before your entree and end your meal with a soybean kinako soft serve- delicious! Highly recommend for a nice lunch spot.

Dubu Haus serves a more modern Korean cuisine - and their tastes reflects it. For appetizers, I got the meat patty jeon - the restaurant mentioned that it was a newer dish on the menu. It's a pretty interesting dish, it's like a patty stuffed veggie dish, so I'm not quite sure if it should be described as a pancake. For entrees, I got the spicy braised short rib. As someone who really likes galbijjim, this is the dish I was most excited for, and I definitely enjoyed it! I also got the seafood soondubu as well and I was definitely able to taste the quality of the dish! Both entrees comes rice. I got both the white rice and the nutritious kettle pot rice. I much preferred the nutritious rice! They also included complimentary dessert. I'm not sure if it was soy soft serve, or tofu soft serve. But it was also something I really liked!

Came for the third time! Super solid spot and tried some different dishes this time. Got the tofu signature pot, mandu, short rib and soondubu combo, and the chestnut makgeolli. Service was great and I really like the high end ambiance of the restaurant itself.

I've been wanting to try this place because they make their own tofu in house. The food portions are pretty big so I would recommend sharing a few things. The prime rib soondubu and the perilla mushroom soondubu were really rich and good. My favorite dish of the night was the spicy pork and Dubu kimchi! It has a nice charred taste. For an appetizer it was super filling. We also got the potato and ma jeon and it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either. The staff was really nice with a variety of people who checked in on us. The food came out really quickly too that we didn't have enough room on our table for two. The decor is really clean and bright and there were also sections for larger groups! They also give you ice cream at the end of the meal which was really nice and a good way to end the dining experience!

One of the easier spots in Ktown to get a last minute reservation. Very fancy and upscale atmosphere, and waiters are great at refilling the banchan. They're known for making their own tofu in house, and give you some complimentary soy milk and tofu ice cream with your meal. The spicy braised dubu was definitely my favorite dish. The sauce was delicious, and the pork belly was cooked very well. The nutritious rice is very tasty, and definitely worth upgrading to for $3.

    Bryan C.

If you like tofu, this is your spot. Dubu house has quick and polite service, the servings are good sizes for the price, and the tofu is nice and soft when it needs to be. Came here the other night with a group, and we ordered a variety of the apps and mains to share. We were first given small cups of a tofu puree/soup, and it was excellent. Great soybean flavor, really rich and creamy, perfect if you enjoy the pure taste of tofu. The braised galbi, the soondubu, and the bibimbap are some highlights. They also give a lot of banchan, and wow is that tasty as well. At the end, you get a lil sweet treat, and the price seemed quite reasonable for the amount of food we got. Definitely left stuffed, and would absolutely come back.

For their…read moredinner menu, you can do AYCE hotpot and bbq for ~$43pp, which also includes appetizers and some drinks. For alcoholic drinks, such as soju and beer, you can add ~$7pp for AYCD. The tables are spacious and the place is bright. We ordered a variety of meats and veggies for hotpot and bbq and it was alright. The hot pot is definitely better than the bbq as the meat quality was too fatty for bbq. Moreover, because they don't change the grills, the oils from the meat just pool onto the grill and the meats get really oily to eat after a while. We also got the fried chicken, spring rolls, and fried buns apps and I thought that the chicken and buns were good but the spring rolls were okay. The only thing I would have to say is that the service isn't the best. Although they are kind, half of the things we ordered never arrived or we had to constantly ask them to bring it out/check on our order.

I loved this place!…read more I came here on a late Friday night, probably around 8pm and was glad that they were still opened. We were greeted very welcomely and was seated right away. It was unusually cold in NY during this time (5/23/25) and initially we were seated by the door where we would catch the cold draft every time the door opened. We asked if we can switch seats and the waiter was more than helpful. I feel bad for not getting his name, because he was very helpful throughout the entire dinner service, but, I've been walking around in the cold all day and the only thing that was on my mind at that time, was a nice warm meal. I've done a lot of Chinese hotpots and this was the first that we get the soup and grill without a price difference. The selections were typical, some may say less than other places, but, I felt that less was better. When there is too much to chose from, you don't know what to pick or pick too much. The one thing that I did missed was fresh tofu. They had a variety of tofu but not fresh tofu. But, I probably shouldn't waste my stomach space on tofu for and AYCE, anyway, lol! We opt for an non-spicy and a spicy soup base. If you are like me and do not like mala (numbing spice), I would not recommend getting a spicy soup base. Even my cousin, that does like mala, said it was a little overbearing after a while. If you do love spicy, like me, they have a condiment station to make your own sauce and have several chili options to chose from that is not numbing spice. For the price and selections, I feel that it was very satisfying. I really enjoyed their homemade peach and kumquat lemon tea; but, order fast because once it's gone, you are out of luck! The place was clean and the noise level was average. I think this is the best Chinese hotpot place that I have experienced in USA and would definitely go back!

Service was good and they were pretty busy but it was only felt in my drink being delayed from the bar (placed before we ordered any food but showed up only after food arrived. Husband's beer arrived super fast though fwiw) My only gripe is the menu on the iPad thing - there are no descriptions of anything (including cocktails). We kept trying to click stuff on the iPad to see the description, but it was adding it to the cart. It would be great if there were descriptions, so you could see more detail about each item before you order (at least for the cocktails). We ate à la carte but the AYCE was starting while we were there and it looked pretty dope. Lots of good stuff laid out in large qty. All in all we will probably add this to our hotpot restaurant list and will return again.
