Pretty chill bar! Friendly staff and what seems to be the regulars. Fun little daft area too!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I brought my service dog on a leash and then he told me to stay outside because it was too crowded and I could not bring her in. Do not come here. Especially if you expect them to respect the law. -5/10.

Peter, Mic, and Vinny make all the guests feel very comfortable, welcome, and set to enjoy a neighborhood bar feel with cozy corners and great TVs to watch the game. You truly feel like you're in an old pub where you would expect to find harsh stories from character straight out of the book. If you're looking for a nouveau riche with fancy lighting clearly you're not in a bar to engage with other people and enjoy a relaxing evening. I took advantage of learning about this establishment through the whiskey pairing dinner, which is well documented in the myriad of photos. What can't be seen in the photos, is the incredible service that is consistently applied throughout the bar. An empty glass doesn't sit, the patron doesn't have to ask for water, and regular stops by different employees to ensure a good time by all. They know their whiskeys, beers, and have a fun assortment of cocktails. A couple of highlight items on the menu: A good selection of Texas whiskeys, and an incredible selection of Irish whiskeys. As for price point it's fair and realistic, they clearly want people to be regulars and are not looking to gouge people for a one time stop. As for the menu it's very limited over all, but a fair selection of sandwiches that could match a variety of interests and desires. I look forward to going back and working my way through the various whiskeys they have.

Well considering it's the last week of 2016 one would hope the customer service would be strong to end the year off right granted we had our beers promptly poured, but not without aside of sassiness as far as I'm concerned being in a group of customer service I don't think it was cool that the bartender said that we should have said hello before he decided NOT to tell us that there were NO servers available when we sat in the corner booth. Either way we efficient got UP and carried our four- correction 15 drinks to our table and enjoyed them without a server. Happy New Year's Dallas that is all.

I ended up at this bar by mistake, well it was worth it. As soon as we got there, it was time for a RR break. We were greeted by two girls waiting in line for the their turn. The bathroom's have a tiny 5x5 foyer in front of them. Upon entering the bathroom I noticed it was just enough space to turn around. Since I wanted to try something different, I told the bartender who had jet black hair with half of it dyed bleach blonde to pick out a drink for me. She came back with a Hoegarrten, which had a slice of lemon on the edge of the glass. Now normally this would be considered a infraction of man law, since fruiting of the beer is not allowed. But I was 'drinking outside of the box' so I drank it. It was a yellow and cloudy concoction, tasted some sweetness, but all in all it was good. My friend had a Spaten Oktoberfest, which had a very dark reddish tent, he was pleased with it's taste. Tab: $11 Maybe I'm too use to drinking cheap American beer for $2.50, but $6 for for a pint? Wow. The place had a very long bar, and was filled with smoke and people wearing soccer outfits, and everyone casually dressed. Cool place overall. Have to get back at the beginning of the night sometime, with some money.

The Dub and I have continued our 16 year romance. I won't go for a while, and then I'm there every weekend. The hot pressed ham and swiss cheese sandwich is about one of the best sandwiches I have put in my mouth. Delicious. I just love this cozy bar with all my heart!

The service isn't much, but the food is always good! I should have take a picture of the cheese board before I ate most of it. The bread is warm, cheeses are delicious and the fruit is fresh. It is enough for 2-4 people.

Met up with an old friend here for drinks on a Monday night and really enjoyed it. Super diverse…read morecrowd, very casual, and still lively even on a weekday. We got a cheeseboard, but if I had to recommend one thing, definitely the fried mushrooms if you like mushrooms. They're huge and the spicy cilantro sour cream sauce is killer! We sat in the indoor/outdoor area, which was my fave. It can take a minute to flag someone down when it's busy, but that felt understandable for how busy they were. Easy place to settle into and lose track of time a bit--just drinks, conversation, and good food without overthinking it.

I came for "just one pint" and left three days later wearing someone else's sweater, speaking in a…read morequestionable accent, and convinced I'm 1/16th Irish on my mother's side (DNA test still pending). The Guinness is poured so perfectly it should be in the Louvre. The bartender, Austin (I'm pretty sure that's his real name and not just what he tells customers), has the patience of a saint and the sarcasm of a man who's been asked "Do you have anything like Guinness but less dark?" one too many times. Highlights: The fish & chips were so good I briefly considered converting to Catholicism just so I could thank God properly. The bathroom graffiti is poetic. "Roses are red, violets are blue, I came for a piss and met half the crew." - actual quote. Then you've got Hannah, who's basically the pub's chaos coordinator. She's got blonde hair that could guide ships in a fog and a laugh that echoes like a banshee having a great time. Don't sleep on Wes - He'll nod once, slide you your drink, and if you're lucky, mutter something profound like "Life's short, drink good stout." Then he disappears to polish glasses like he's auditioning for a monastery. Absolute mystery man, 10/10 enigma. And rounding out the crew is Paige, the wildcard. She's got stories that start with "Back in then..." and end with police chases, lost sheep, and at least one exploding still. She'll flirt with your grandma, roast your ex in three sentences or less. There is also this Asian guy that looks like a confused troll with blonde hair. He lives up to the saying once you go Asian it's amasian. Can't forget the blonde girl that's going through the Dallas legacy transition of bottle service to real estate. Shes as good at serving as she is selling real estate. These people run the bar like a well-oiled dysfunctional family. They banter with each other louder than the jukebox, remember birthdays you forgot you told them, and have an unspoken code: if you're having a rough night, they'll slide you a free shot and pretend it was a mistake. If you're being a gobshite, they'll roast you into next week without missing a pour.

This review is long overdue but hey as long as I get it done…read more We were luckily referred to Harwood Arms by the front desk of our hotel at check-in, which was conveniently within walking distance (~10 mins) and has a kitchen that's open late which was nice after a day of travel, later check-in and being hungry. It was a few days before Thanksgiving, there was a decent crowd in the bar and everyone including the bartender (who's name I now cant remember because I took so long to write this) were all very friendly and helpful. The bar was warm, cozy and decked out in Christmas decor (and cute bathroom wallpaper). Good beer selection, great food (I literally ate the tikka masala twice during our couple day trip) and they were conveniently open on Thanksgiving after the game and a fun shot wheel, which was both fun to partake in and fun to watch others do. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves back in Dallas.

My friend recommended this on his list of Irish Pubs around here, so I decided to give it a try. For a strip mall Irish Pub, it does take you into another world. Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. I loved it all and enjoyed the conversation with the bartender with the I Love Indie Horror hat. Some good ones out there that aren't being made like they use to!!

After we paid our bill with a credit card, I noticed that we were charged a 3% credit card fee. That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment. Not sure we'll be back.
