Went there today to test drive a CX-3 as it's on my list of cars I'm interested in possibly making a final decision on at the end of this year for a purchase. Ended up at the dealership around 2ish. I'm giving it a 2 star rating instead of 1 star because their selection of available used and new cars is greater than the concord dealership, however if their selection was less, it would receive a 1 star rating based on the lack of interest any of the staff members had in helping us. My boyfriend and I drove up and started looking around the dealership at the CX-3's that were available as well as their used car selection. Typically at the other dealerships, the sales people are rushing out to greet you and help you pick a car out and test drive one. At this dealership we were greeted by no one. We walk around the lot for about 30 minutes... still no one. Went inside, saw several salesmen sitting in their offices so we began to check out the cars that were on display inside thinking if they noticed us walking around maybe someone would come out. Still no one. I did not approach any of them as they were all either talking to each other or at their computers and figured maybe they were busy.... plus it's their job to make the customer feel welcomed. Sat in a couple of the cars inside and even tried mentioning out loud I wanted to test drive a car.... still no one. Walked around outside again in which we have now been on the lot for an hour.... still no one so we drove to the Nissan dealership to test drive the cars there. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say everyone was busy helping a customer, but there were only maybe 5 other people visiting the dealership and maybe 2 of them had cars at the repair shop they were waiting on. If they were all busy... could've at least taken the time to say hello, welcome us, and give us an ETA of when someone might be able to help us. Very unprofessional. read more

2 STARS FOR RECEPTIONIST DESK (did not get his name, in his ~20's) -told him what I came for, and was told to wait and someone will help you and had to 1 hr while he came to the lounge area to drink his energy drink and watch TV. When I could no longer wait (I hate to bother anyone who is busy doing his/her work and understand how urging can feel frustrating and add stress, but absolutely no attempt was made to accommodate my situation) I went to talk to someone else who was standing next to the receptionist guy and was finally able to get help-while the young person kept looking at a computer screen being very oblivious and careless when he could obviously hear our conversation because I was standing 5 inches away from where he was sitting. Very unprofessional. 5 STAR FOR MECHANICS (PAUL) and SERVICE DEPARTMENT -I had my car inspected for my old mazda for mechanical issues. I dropped my car on Sunday with a note for mechanics to understand the issues that I had for my car. Paul called me the next day and explained the issues that my car had thoroughly. I chose not to fix my car since it would cost more to fix and maintain it than getting another car and asked if I could sell my vehicle to this dealership if possible. It took me several days for me to get an answer, but understood that the dealership is more about selling cars than buying them. The service department was very nice and professional and once again went over the issues that my car had, and was lead to the cashier department where I remitted payment for diagnosing issues. The cashier lady was SO NICE and conversational and even gave me some suggestions on selling my car to indi-shops etc. So on avg, I would give 3 stars AND THIS REVIEW TELLS NOTHING ABOUT PURCHASING EXPERIENCE SO BE AWARE. I recently purchased a CPO '16 Mazda CX-5. Although I had a decent experience in the sales process with Nick in general, I found the condition of the vehicle was something lacking. First of all, they put new really really cheap Milstar tires. Since I haven't heard of them before, I had to look up to find they are cheap Chinese ones. What kind of reputable dealership puts no-name cheap tires to CPO's? I hated them period. They caused vibrations in highway driving. I requested them to be replaced with Micheline before purchasing but they declined. I went back after buying the car and asked if they can give different tires and I am willing to pay the difference. They declined again but offered 2 Japanese tire sets with $5 profit per tire + installation. However, I found they are the same price as Tirerack.com and decided against it. Second, they didn't do a good job in detailing which should be a key in CPO business. They missed a few dirty spots on the ceiling to make me go back. There are many areas inside I had to clean up by myself. Since they claim they have one of the biggest CPO inventories in CA, I really think they should pay attention to details to provide better experiences to customers. Third, I found the low tire pressure warning​ light came on the next morning I bought the car. Since I was on my way to work, I stopped the car and decided to reset it thinking perhaps they forgot to reset it when they put the new really-cheap Chines tires. I made an appointment with the salesperson and brought the vehicle back a couple of days later. However, he said their bay is full and they can't have a technician take a look at it. I definitely​ didn't expect that, ​especially for their liability issues. I asked him to check tire pressure at least and drove it back home. The low tire pressure warning light has not come back yet. However, it is not the experience​ I expected from a Mazda dealership​. Fourth, I found the smart key low battery warning came on on the night I picked up the car. I asked the sales person to replace it. He wanted to charge me $5. I told him I expected it should have been CPO certification process. He said it is not. Who would sell CPO's with the ​almost dead battery in the smart keys? Lastly, I wasted way too long in the sales process. I especially didn't enjoy the long sales pitch for extra items such as extended warranty​ in the financing​ office. Since they are local to me, I really hope they can do better to deliver better customer experience​ and satisfaction. If someone from the dealership is going to respond to my review, I will appreciate more detail and personal response than a ​mechanical one. read more

I recently purchased a car from Dublin Mazda. The car is very slick and we are very happy with the vehicle. I have worked and been around the car industry for quite a while so it was nice that our salesWOMAN was very personable and friendly. In fact it helped so much that Robin was that way because it offset the attitude of the GM and the Finance department. Everybody was really helpful and fantastic until they realized they had a sale made and the GM and Finance department then got a little firm and pushy with the deal. Knowing this industry, I understand the mentality but it's just too bad that's the way people have to be. Sometimes buyers just want to be humored a little bit. Something to be said about genuine customer service. The only reason myself and my other half were able to stay there and wait 3 hours while paperwork was processed is because Robin made us feel like we were at home and comfortable. I will say the car sold itself. We purchased a brand new 2013 Touring Mazda, CX5. Only been a few days, but so far so good! With that said, ask for Robin if you're an easy going type of people who don't want to feel like they are being hustled, mislead, or pushed towards an uncomfortable position. read more

I was looking for a car in my home town. I went to the various dealerships. They did not seem to have any offers that interested me. I picked up the paper and seen an ad from Dublin Mazda. I was interested in the offer they were advertising. I called. The person who answered said the offer was available. I said, " please check and call me back." I did not want to drive there and not be offered at least what the paper was showing. He called me back with a better offer. We arrived and were provided the offer. So this is my first yelp review ever, and it's a bit lengthy. But I wanted to let the less experienced drivers know what to look out for when buying a car and don't end up like me. I purchased a brand new CX-9, drove it off the lot and notice that the car was a bit loud; as I got on the freeway, I find that the steering wheels goes towards one side. But none the less, nothing came to my mind something might be wrong with a brand new car. I took the car on a road trip that night, landed at the desert to find a pile of fluid on the ground after parked there for an hour or so, and then know that there is a power steering fluid leak. The power steering tank was close to being empty. Great being stuck out of no where! I was lucky enough to borrow a phone from the ranger to call Mazda roadside assistance, they came to tow the car and had to replace the whole power steering part. This incident ruined my anniversary trip, and yet, Mazda did not show any apologies to a loyal customer as myself. This review is for the dealership, that the system allowed it to pass inspection on a defected car and passed QC not finding the flaw. So don't get me wrong, the salesman was great, Michael B did a great job explaining the car and working a deal out with us. He was one of the reason why we choose Dublin Mazda to close the deal with. read more

After our absolutely miserable and insulting experience at another car dealership, Dublin Mazda was like a breath of fresh air that brought hope back to certified pre-owned car buying. We didn't feel attacked immediately as we browsed the used Mazda section of the lot. Instead were greeted by a very nice gentleman who found us a salesman to work with. When we met the salesman, we inquired about a particular used car that we had seen online that morning. Unfortunately, it had sold that morning. Since we were pretty particular about the car that we wanted, we didn't want to see any others at that time. However, our salesman did not push us or pressure us in any way, and we actually carried on a nice conversation for about 20 minutes instead! It was a lovely experience. By the end of our conversation, he apologized that they didn't have the car we were looking for and gave us his card. We may not have purchased anything that day, but we will definitely keep them first on our list as we wait for another one to pop up, and recommend them to our friends and family. They told me to hang onto my old car that gets 40mpg unlike Honda, and showed me two good vehicles, and I am really impressed with one, and I would've gotten it if my husband was there... He took great care to describe all the buttons and gadgets to us and to provide materials for our review while we waited for our turn to sign the contract. Michael B. was very personable and encouraged us to drop in at any time if we had questions or needed help. (Michael: I'll probably be coming in to have you sinc my phone. Told you Steve couldn't do it!) The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is that we had to wait a considerable amount of time to sign our papers. However, once in with the loan person, the papers flew by pretty quickly. The credit manager, also named "Michael", was an expert regarding the paperwork and explained everything clearly and succinctly.
