Hats Off to Lance Quevillan! We went for our THIRD ( different dealerships & Makes) test drive late afternoon on Friday. Lance was very understanding about our hesitation to plunk down 30G for a (very nice) new Mazda CX-5. ... It's been 20 years since we bought a new car and Sticker Shock was unavoidable. Lance patiently showed us a number of different models and colors, and did NOT try to hard sell us or use that ever annoying "What can we do to put you in this car today?" line. We left still contemplating such a large purchase, 'slept on it' and drove back to make The Commitment as soon as we knew he was back at work this morning. GREAT DECISION!!! WE FOUND THE PERFECT FT! ... LITERALLY! Power driver's seat, (essential for my 4'11" shortness), Sun/moon roof and AWESOME BOSE sound system. .. In the mid priced (Touring) model rather than the $$$ Grand Touring. We decided to lease through Mazda, and they guided us through the process, with MUCH less hassle than our last leased car (starts with an H, end with an A)... And even returned with a slightly better offer for our aged CRV. As car buying experiences go, THIS was the BEST experience I've ever had! THANK YOU TO A GREAT TEAM! And thanks, Lance! We wouldn't have done it without your gentle guidance. read more

Wow! We just made a life changing decision and decided to buy our very FIRST new car, and are so happy to have done it with Greg at Dublin Mazda. He was knowledgeable and professional, answering each and every question we had, and even anticipating the ones we hadn't thought of yet. His friendliness, honesty, patience, and easy going nature also made the entire car buying process very comfortable. He made car buying a fun and enjoyable experience, and you can't get that everywhere. If you are looking for a new car, go see Greg at Dublin Mazda, he won't let you down! Thank you Greg! read more

This is my first ever yelp review, not something I normally think about doing but Garth was so helpful I have to let everyone know how great he is. I test drove a Mazda Cx-5 saturday. Actually found a better deal at another dealership that evening, called Garth Sunday morning and told him. They didn't just match the price but beat it. Garth thank you so much. You are the best. read more

Bill gave us the best test drive we've ever had. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive.

Just bought a Mazda for my daughter yesterday and it was great working with these guys. Great price, good trade-in, wonderful service. When we arrived at the dealership, I realized that I didn't have the pink slip for my trade-in or the headrests for the back seats. They were very nice about it, allowing us to complete the trade-in when I said I'd be back the next day with the pink slip and headrests. No complaints, and next time we're in the market for a Mazda, we'll return here. read more

My husband and I just purchased a new CX-5 from Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda. Bill Scholvin was our sales representative, and he was the key factor in our purchasing the vehicle from this dealership. When we began our search for a new vehicle, our choice was between Mazda's CX-5 and Ford's Escape. We shared this with Bill and without our asking for comparisons between vehicles, he provided us with articles on comparisons between the CX-5 and similar vehicles, including Escape. Very impressed by his actions, along with providing us with the CX-5 brochure. A Ford dealership was unable to provide a brochure, which was disappointing to us. Bill mentioned that he was fairly new to the dealership, which surprised us. He was extremely informative and provided beneficial information not only on the CX-5 but vehicle mechanics, in general. Bill is a very likable, non-intimidating (not "pushy"), and honest individual. He exercised patience with us throughout this process....we visited the dealership three times and had several emails/calls with Bill. Once we made our decision to purchase a CX-5, we shopped other Mazda dealerships. Another dealership was comparable in price to Dublin Mazda and would have given added incentives on accessories. But...based on our dealings with Bill, we felt extreme loyalty to him and wanted to give him our business. If shopping for a Mazda or similar vehicle, make sure you see Bill Scholvin in sales. You won't be disappointed! And if shopping for a CX-5, check out the 2013/2014 Consumer Reports Magazine Best Cars issues (April), along with US News reviews. Thank you, Bill, for making our purchase an enjoyable experience. Kathy and Steve read more

I recently purchased a 2015 Mazda 3 from this dealership. I was a little nervous as this was my first time car buying experience, however the experience exceeded my expectations! Rebekah worked closely with me to find me my dream car. She truly made the whole experience very easy and was totally honest and up-front with me throughout the whole process. Everytime I stepped foot into to office I felt like I was meeting up with an old friend. In fact everyone I met with (financing department etc) worked as hard as they could to make me happy. That kind of customer service is unheard of and I feel honored to have been able to experience it. I am loving my car and constantly refer others to their dealership! read more

I bought my first car from this dealership and it was a surprisingly great experience. I thought car haggling would be obnoxious, tedious, grueling and stressful and so was planning on simply buying from a private dealer and not from a dealerships which i type caste as all being very overpriced and full of pressuring sales associates. However, this dealership was able to give me a really nice car with great mileage at a bargain price. We asked them to go down on it several times and each time they explained the value of the car but agreed to try and meet my budget. I was very pleased with their customer service and I feel that I got a great deal and am very pleased with my car. read more

Not if you want answer- there is something fishy with a dealer that won't quote a price. I drove the car - know what I want - and have been asking how much for 4 days now and nothing. Other Mazda dealers such as Putnam & concord don't hesitate to put something in writing - but these guys just waist your time. Go elsewhere - I am! read more

Walked in looking to purchase a car for our son. Had bought a Mazda 3 at Fremont and had a horrible experience. Nick Z. was kind, courteous and very helpful without being remotely pushy. We had a number in mind, and he and Jason worked hard to get us as close as possible. Very nice people. read more

Having been to a number of dealerships, both Mazda and others in the area, these guys are head and shoulders above the rest. I'm more and more impressed every time I go here, and this is why.... Coupons that are actually relevant to things you need doing, and if you don't have one or didn't know there was one, they'll give you the discounted price anyway! Although they may be a bit more expensive than going to jiffy-lube, you get your car back and you know everything you needed doing has been done. When they say the tire pressure is set to spec. etc. they actually DO mean it. I don't know how many times I've been told one thing at the "quick-lube" places only to find out it wasn't done, wasn't even possible to do on my car, or was just done wrong. They also clean the car, which I totally didn't expect on my first visit and I'm not just talking a quick pass through the car wash, mine has always come back completely spotless. Paul Hannigan the service advisor is fantastic. He's on top of everything, has great backup from a knowledgeable parts department and gets things done when he says they'll be done, keeping you informed about what's going on at every step. Great customer service all round, even if I didn't live in the area I'd drive to Dublin to get my service done here. read more

Purchased a Mazda CX-5 from Dublin Mazda. Smooth and easy. Michael Barrilleaux was very helpful in the process.

My boyfriend and I recently purchased two vehicles from this dealership. We dealt with the internet manager Mike Davis. Thank you Dublin Mazda! My husband and I found ourselves here at the beginning of our cross country road trip in August. We stopped for gas in the area and realized that our gas cap was stuck. In a moment of desperation we headed to Dublin Mazda to see if they could help. Although it was a Sunday and the service department was closed, Juan from the sales department (who used to be a mechanic) and other members of the sales team were nice enough to give the issue a look. Within minutes, Juan had the gas cap off and pointed us in the direction of an auto parts store nearby for a new gas cap. We bought the gas cap and were on our way! If not for the kindness and diligent service of the staff at Dublin Mazda, who knows if we would have ever made it to the East Coast as planned! read more

I recently bought a 2012 CX-9 from Michael B. at Dublin Mazada. The experience was awesome! I really appreicated Michael's patience. He stayed late on both days we were there and took us on test drives both times. He was also fair in the negotiation. After we bought the car, he explained every feature and was very open. We thought everyone at dublin mazada was great and really enjoyed the experience. I would refer Michael B. to anyone looking for a Mazada! read more

This review is for the service department. I called to schedule an appointment for replacement of my recalled airbags and was informed that they needed to be ordered before I could schedule an appointment... completely reasonable. Over a month later, I called back to check on the order status and turns out the airbags were in, not sure why they didn't call me to schedule the appointment when the parts came in. I scheduled the appointment and dropped my car off early in the morning. I also asked them to check for codes from a previous CEL and let me know if they found anything so I could have that repaired while my car was already there. They said it would be 1.5-2 hours to replace the airbags, so when it had been 5 hours I called my service advisor and left a message to inquire about the status. The receptionist called back a short time later and simply said my car was done. I asked if they checked for CEL codes, she replied and said they didn't find any. After some more prodding, she said that the air intake hose was cracked and that could be causing my issue, but it was a special order part so they couldn't do it that day. When I got home, I found my air intake hose nearly cracked in half. In my opinion, they should have told me that information right away, without me having to prod. That should be an obvious part of the Mazda full circle inspection. When I picked up my car, there was no one there to answer any questions, just the cashier to give my keys back. The information sheet said that I had a fog lamp out and that would be $210 to fix. I bought the lamp at AutoZone for $5 and replaced it myself. There was nothing on the sheet about the air intake hose, so again, if I hadn't prodded for that information, I wouldn't have known. I thought about reaching out to management to voice my concerns, but there were several instances of lack of communication and general disinterest in making sure I was a satisfied customer with a safe vehicle. Defective airbags are a very serious safety issue. Dublin Mazda should have called me to schedule the appointment as soon as the replacement parts arrived!!! Furthermore, if a service shop truly cares about your car, your safety, and your repeated business, they should tell you there is an issue with your car if they find one! The customer should not have to prod for such information and the information should at the very least be on the paper that the customer receives after service. I am greatly disappointed in my experience at Dublin Mazda. read more

I just bought a used car from Dublin Mazda and I think I met everyone who worked there. All of them polite, no pushieness, they helped me get the car I wanted and at the budget I set, no oversell, gave me a better loan rate by 3% that I went in with. I have to say while always leery of car salesmen, I would go back to this dealership. They were just nice, I was surprised and pleased. I am happy with my new used car and the price I paid. read more

Me and my wife went to this dealer twice last week and this week as well. we couldn't test drive a car at all. First , last week we been told the dealership is closed ( was Sunday 5:45 pm ) waited for about 30 min and they told us they locked up all the keys and we can't see any cars. well we tried the second time this week. we walked into the dealership and the manager asked us what car we wanna buy, we told him we would like to see a few first. he said he is waiting for someone else and he will try to find us a sales person . well that DIDN'T HAPPEN . he walked out and told us nobody is available. than we saw another sales person walking by ( same one from last week ) and we ask him for help, he said he dosent wanna help us because we didn't want to talk to the manager in the FIRST PLACE. WHAT A LIAR . and he just walks by and says " WHATEVER I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS ". So we just turned around and left. Went to Honda and Bought a brand new Accord instead. Customer Service is awful , would never recommend anybody MAZDA dealership read more

After 13 years in my Honda Civic, I was about eight years late for an upgrade! I was online shopping for another Civic, a Kia Soul, or Hyundai Veloster when I got sidetracked by the hip new look of the Mazda3. After reading many reputable awesome reviews and comparisons and after taking a gander at my other options, honestly, they couldn't quite hold a candle to what Madza had to offered. Prepared to deal with the old school car salesman, and armed with my online service price print out, we headed out to take a test drive and go head to head with the proverbial, intense and unrelenting "car salesman" we've all had the pleasure of encountering. Kaz Hartstra was a breath of fresh air for us kids, as a sales person. No pressure, no hustle. A cool, calm and collected demeanor he was completely willing to meet the price I hoped to pay and find me my new ride. He made it easy and painless and we drove out grinning like Cheshire Cats and completely satisfied with our purchase and their hassle-free service. Big Mike in finance is the coolest cat, with his tales of Laguna Seca! He even made the financial end of things non-stressful (no one tried to sell us on anything other than what we came there to buy). I can say that I hit the other dealerships around the Dublin area and felt the overwhelming need to flee the scene, a take a long shower after dealing with the high pressure salesmen! These kids rock! Our new car is the perfect fit and as a person who's made many impulse purchases with much regret, I gotta give mad props to the Ken Harvey Posse! read more

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at Dublin Mazda when trying to purchase a car for my niece. I was asked by Ken the manager to not write a negative review -shady business practice. Here I go... We went on a test drive finally selecting a car and was told on the lot that we could get $500 off but sitting down in the office was only able to get $100 off. On principle thinking it was a bait and switch so we walked away. Then I went on line to work with a sales rep and he confirmed with me that the car was available still and he was granted approval for the $500 off. We came in and he said everything was set for next day delivery as we shared the approval letter of financing from the credit union. The last thing I asked was for him to pull the car off the available for sale list and he said he would. To my surprise I received a text 2 hrs later stating the car was sold with a sad face. The manager Ken said there was nothing he could do because the car was gone but he would find us a comparable car. He came back with a more expensive car with more mileage. This is absurd. Ken also mentioned that the car was sold the day before. Lying to us one way or another is pretty shady way of running a business. Also the way they were speaking down to us - bright, accomplished African American women- was pretty insensitive and offensive as we tried to resolve the multiple mistakes make by this dealership. All that to say- if you are a women or a minority just beware of Dublin Mazda. Fortunately I have our communication in writing. They are no longer communicating with our family but I think they will have to respond to our family lawyer at some point along with the better business bureau. As we have started the process of filing a claim. read more

This is long over due! I bought my car March, 2015 with little to no knowledge of how the car buying process works. They walked me through everything and answered all my questions regardless of how silly they were. By the time everything was all said and done I walked away with my 2015 CX-5 and have been in love ever since. I wish I had more details from that awesome day but that was well over two years ago. Any of the Mikes will take amazing care of you. Keith has also gone above and beyond to take care of my needs. Kristen is the absolute sweetest! I usually check in with her and I always feel like I'm catching up with an old friend. I can sit here and tell you how amazing team Dublin Mazda is but it would be too long of a review. I encourage that if you are in need of a new or pre owned car to go there. Even the lobby is comfortable and equipped with usb and regular outlets for charging devices. It's so chic and remodeled there. If I can give Dublin Mazda 100 stars I would! Thank you guys for always taking care of me. My car and I would be lost without you! read more

Just purchased a 2012 Mazda CX9 at Dublin Mazda and have been overall happy with the process. Reyes was our salesperson and he was personable, welcoming and not pretentious like some salespeople we encountered at other dealerships. He spent a few hours with us as we negotiated a price for a used vehicle, but ultimately ended up accepting their fair offer for a brand new car. We left the first day without making a decision, and decided the next day to go all the way back to Dublin (we live 2 hours away) to purchase the car from Reyes because we felt he deserved the sale. Really, the only negative of the whole process was how long it took from beginning to end (just the process of picking up the car we had already decided to purchase took a few hours), but I suppose that can go hand in hand with the car buying experience. Overall very happy with our new car and the service we received and would recommend. read more

They had the exact car I was shopping for and had by far the best price. I shopped from Redding to San Jose. No pressure or deceptive lead-ons. They knew the market value of the car and backed it up with comparative figures which I already knew to be true. Very good people to deal with. My salesperson was Stephen Butterfield and he was knowledgeable , professional and sincere. I was prepared with financing already and to my surprise when I got to the finance office they had gotten me a better interest rate than my own bank. Took about ten minutes to wrap it up . Best dealer I have ever dealt with. read more

I have been in the market for a Mazda Cx-9 for the past 2mos. I live in Sonoma county so I visited Mazed in Santa Rosa, Marin, Bulingame and even tried to buy from Enterprise used car sales. Not to mention all the other dealerships I called all over Northern California! None of the competitors even come close to the incredible deal and service I got at Dublin Mazda. I didn't even have to haggle them they price matched for me and then some!!! They gave me a great value for my trade in! They even took an extra 1,000 off for being a previous mazda owner (my trade in was a Cx-7) a "loyalty rebate" which none of the other mazda dealerships even mentioned! I worked with Bruce Bode and Jim Anthony which I have to say are two of the nicest sales guys I have ever met. It honestly felt like I was buying a car from my dad. They were so sweet and really wanted to give my husband and I the best possible deal they could. We left in a brand new Cx-9 feeling so elated. I recently went to Dublin Mazda to buy my first car. After going to a few dealerships and feeling the pressures of buying a car from various sales people, I wasn't expecting much at this dealership. To my surprise I was completely shocked on how friendly and helpful Troy Dunlop was when he met with us. After walking the lot with Troy, test driving a car, and going over a few details I wanted to take a moment to think it over lunch. Expecting the normal pushback of leaving, Troy completely understood and left me with his cell number and a recommendation of where to eat. After a long lunch I realized that they had the perfect car for me and had to go back, not only for the car but just for the amazing service that Troy had provided me. The rest is history from there and I will always recommend anyone to that dealership! And did I mention, that months later Troy reached back out just to check in on how the car was treating me. If that isn't caring about your customers then I don't know what is. read more

My wife and I were out checking for a new car, and came to Dublin Mazda looking at what's available in the car market. We had absolutely no intention to buy a car today, However, we met Robim, the sales lady at Dublin Mazda, who was so friendly and helpful when we walked in the show room. She made us feel comfortable and showed us the new MAzda CX-5 AWD with the new SkyActive Technology, that gives 24/33 MPG. We were so impressed with the performance of the car, and the salesmanship and decided to trade in our E350 and Rav4 for a new CX-5 Grand Touring. I've never written a review on yelp, but this dealership deserved all the stars it could get!! I didn't think purchasing a car could be so stress-free and easy. We arrived at the dealership and less than 2 hours later was driving away in a new car. The salesman Kevin was great to work with - very knowledgeable about the car and friendly unlike many pushy salesmen. And the sales manager Sean gave us a great, honest deal from the very beginning without all the back and forth negotiations. It was great for the first time in my life feeling like a car dealership was actually nice and helpful. Other dealerships I feel like I am constantly being scammed or cheated in some way, but this dealership was the exception!! Everyone should buy a mazda from this dealership! read more

Rating: 3 TLDR: car didn't have all the features on the description sheet. missing several features. no time to go an audit every feature of every car i think of buying, some features are hard to test. the haggling part contained a lot of unnecessary fluff. took way too long. ive been to dealers where its a flat back and forth and its really nice and simple, granted it lacks psychological manipulation that you can probably use to get a better price. ****************secondly, the car description wasn't accurate. Mazda 6 iTouring was marked as a Mazda6 iTouring Plus. it was the completely wrong trim, iTouring Plus and not iTouring, which the car actually was. It lacked the power moonroof, turn signal indicator mirrors, blind spot sensor, overhead console, passenger vanity mirrors, and probably other features that i haven't audited. I mean, am i supposed to go and audit every feature supposedly in the car? do i just drive around until i can align someone in my blind spot to test the sensor? There's a certain element of trust to be had, and i feel it was somewhat violated through negligence on part of the dealer. Granted, at the bottom it does say that the neither mazda nor its subsidiaries are responsible for missing equipment, it doesn't mention ANYTHING about the car being the wrong trim. The notice doesn't say anything about the dealer not being liable tho...************* sooo -2 stars for the inaccurate car description! i guess the annoying haggling phase is to be expected, so i suppose i wont dock for that. if the dealer does something to compensate, ill edit this and increase the rating. edit: ive been contacted to tr y and get the issue resolved, rating increased a star editedit: bumpted to 5 stars. service center is pretty good. read more

It's been about 30 days since we leased our Mazda CX-5 from Dublin Mazda. I deliberately waited to make sure the review I give was honest and was made after a lot of thought and hindsight. The entire experience was as good as could be, considering I really do not like the process of dealing with salesmen. No matter how much homework I do or how prepared I feel like I am, when you walk into a dealership, the game is always stacked against you. Michael Barrilleaux was our salesman, and he did a great job in showing us the various choices, the options and the different configurations availble. They did not have one on the lot with the options/colors we wanted, but worked hard in finding just the right one for us from another dealer. They knew our budget numbers, and worked with us to get the car we wanted, at the price we were willing to pay, and getting financing setup. We were probablly not the easiest customers to deal with, between hem and hawing on what we wanted, if we could afford it, and if we could even get approved for the lease. In the end, it all worked out, Michael went and picked up the car and brought it back to the dealership, got it prepped, and then spent quite a bit of time going over all the features, setting up the options inide the car, and making sure we understood everything and were comfortable in driving off. Like I said, I do not really enjoy the car buying process, but this was one of the better experiences I have had in that regard. In 3 years, we will go back and start the whole process over again. read more

I recently was involved in a traffic collision with my 2012 Mazda 3, which I purchased at Ken Harvey's Mazda in Dublin.
