I've been using them for 6-12 months now because they're cheap but I can't do it anymore. They just don't clean your clothes! I work in an office, not some filthy job. None of my blouses are really clean. And they've shrunk most of my dresses and skirts. Don't be lured in by the cheap prices. They don't even clean in house the clothes are sent somewhere else. I learned that because my clothes just weren't returned on time by whoever cleans them. If anyone knows of a good cleaners that won't break the bank, let me know! I don't have a review yet cuz I just dropped my clothes off today. I went here because my other cleaner closed. Next Door said this place charges $1.25 for shirt laundry and 2.50 for dry cleaning. It was a recent post too. However they actually charge $3 per shirt and $3.75 to dry clean slacks. This seems expensive to me, for Tustin, but it is the going rate. I honestly don't think they even dry clean your clothes- they probably just use a regular washer and dryer because all my clothes came back ruined. Yet another dry cleaner in Tustin, and with so many within 5 miles of each other, the competition is fierce. I don't care that they still use the old standby"perc" solvent process,versus the more eco friendly "wet process". With most garments at $2 each sans coupon, they're OK by me. Interesting that the yelp reviews are as wide ranging as the fingers on your hand. It might not be the best, and one yelper called the owner of this place Medusa LOL. But as a 10 plus year customer of this place, they've always cleaned my clothes well at a fair price. I might have given them 3 stars. This last trip, however, they earned their four stars. And here's why.... I purposely have not gone to any dry cleaner in the last year. The job I have now is business casual, so my need for starched, scratchy, rash inducing shirts is gone. I even donated some suits, dress shirts, and ties to charities. Everything I purchased and wore this past fall and winter were all easy care, no-iron, and machine washable. To my surprise, when dropped off two sport coats for dry cleaning last week, the counter person said, "Oh - sir, you have some sweaters you never picked up!" Hm.. I don't remember dropping off any sweaters in the past few months. To my surprise, I dropped them off exactly one year and two weeks ago. And the counter person said, "Normally, we would have donated these to Goodwill after one year. We called your number twice and left two messages. But I thought they were SPAM phone calls so never heard them She added,."...your cashmere and two spring weight designer wool sweaters were just too beautiful to give away". Not sure where the few positives review come from?!?? If I could, I'd give this place NEGATIVE 5!!!!!!! I have no idea how they manage to stay in business, can't wait for them to shut down! Save yourself the trouble and headache!! I've been coming here for 3 years, maybe more... and noticed that recently it's just getting WORSE! Service and the quality of work. Heard there was a change in ownership. What completely made me snap and refuse to ever use this place is how they RUINED my shirt (it's now discolored), didn't get the stain out of a white top, and my fiancé's blazer was damaged. Not to mention times when she lost a button off a polo shirt, didn't bother to apologized. Of course she points to the sign that says "we are not responsible for BLAH BLAH BLAH" meaning she doesn't care what your complaint is. The previous Yelper mentioned that you can print out a coupon online and use it at this location. Well, things apparently aren't that simple. Infact this is where it got complicated and messy. I found the coupon through valpak online and I noticed their special for 5 dress shirts, washed and pressed for $1.10 each. I really only had about 2 shirts I needed washed and pressed, but since this deal was so good, I waited an extra day and picked out 3 more shirts. I came down to this location, and just my luck, I was greeted by this evil medusa look-a-like lady from India. I quickly mentioned, "I heard about your place through internet..and I have a coupon." That smirk quickly turned in a frown. Before I even handed her the coupon, she blurted out.. "oh this is expired." "I printed this out yesterday, and the date says 5/28/2010 (2 weeks from now)." "Oh it says it should not be altered and you cut this coupon." Well excuse me miss. How in the world are you suppose to remove a coupon from a fixed piece of paper without cutting it? At that point in my frustration I just asked," Look are you guys looking for any business here? I m more then happy to take this else where." "No no, we will definitely take your business." DO NOT GO HERE! Horrible customer service and they stained my comforter!! I had gone here a couple times due to receiving a coupon in the val-pack. This last time I went, I forgot my coupon. I attempted to leave, in order to come back with my coupon, but the guy at the front counter gave me his word that they would honor it when I came back to pay,since I was a return customer. Low and behold- I came back on the date my comforter was ready and the lady at the front not only wouldn't honor my coupon, but was rude, snarky and disrespectful. Another woman standing next to me was also taken back by the horrible customer service. After going around and around and being told that "the computer wouldn't be able to allow them to honor the coupon", the computer "magically" was able to honor it and I was treated like crap and told not to come back. I took in my work shirt just for a sharp look, but when I went to pick them up, the employee said they are not responsible for any items missing, stolen, torn, or stained. When the employee did not find them, I was asked to help, so I literally had to go into the back to get my shirts from four different locations, on the downside, they were stained and threads pulled out. Furthermore, I was accused of claiming shirts that dis not belong to me, and that i just found the owner's ticket. I took my shirts, called to speak with a manager/owner, who was not directly rude, nor apologetic, but outstandingly unhelpful. They have a certain crowd they tailor to (hehe see what I did there?) which is nice for those select few, thus Sunny Dry Cleaners is where I take my business, my Army Uniforms are impressively impeccable at Sunny's as well as helpful and friendly service was given every time I've gone. We have been customers for many years but the quality and customer service have always been hit or miss. Alex was great but the female employee is terribly rude and they recently lost a pair of pants (part of an expensive designer suit), blouse, and sweater all within a month of each other. We have received no apology, or attempt at rectifying the situation. The female employee gave me attitude when I inquired about the status of the pants. I have overheard her making fun of customers in front of other customers. She also tried to pass off another customer's dress shirt as ours even though the size was incorrect. The last blouse they dry-cleaned came back smelling like terrible body odor (it was a brand new item, never worn). Don't be lured by the cheaper prices, it is not worth the headache. read more

The Indian lady who I assume is the manager wont take responsibility for it accusing me of lying and that it is the hat makers fault.I have had this hat cleaned dozens of times and it has never happened so how can it possibly be the manufacturers fault?! Seriously? What's with the one star reviews? We've been going here for the last three years about twice a month and have nothing but great things to say about them. We've used both the dry cleaning and the alteration service and never have once had an issue! Clothes come back perfectly cleaned and pressed.....which, BTW, isn't that exactly what you'd expect? Everytime either my wife or I go there, they're always friendly and cheerful. I'm sure that they can have a bad day or have to deal with crappy customers at times - thats part of being human and working in the customer service industry. Are we in the minority? I really don't think so. We've since moved out of the local area and it's twenty minutes out of our way to go here, but like others have mentioned, the prices are fantastic. Stay away. Of all my shirts that came back, none of them came back pressed professionally. It was like a first timer was learning on how to use the pressing machine. 2 had melted buttons (one of them ornamental), 4 have front pockets and all are rumpled. 1 shirt the collar was not lined up correctly and now has a odd crease. And last, the fabric that is on the non- button side - one, the edge was rolled over and pressed as 2 layers. The second the fabric was not pulled to lay flat and is in a state that I don't even know how to describe the result. OH! They will buy me a comforter of similiar qualities...maybe. even thought their policy said that if they lost your item they are responsible up to 10 times the cost. Today I officially will stop going to this Dry Cleaner. The cheaper price is not worth the rude attitude from the women who never smile @ the counter. I normally drop of my clothes and pick it up around the same time around 4 to 5 pm. I have been going there for years. I had a incident a couple of years back with some of my light slacks had full of ink stain on them. This lady was rude then but the " lady Manager" who only works till 3 called me back and got rid of the ink stains. Flash forward a year later. I noticed that my light slacks started to have ink stains again, but it was already too late to return it to them since I did not check it before I left. Took care of it at home myself thanks to good old hair spray. So this time before I left the place I made sure there was no ink stain on them...had to deal with the rude lady again who said" next time when you drop off the pants we really need to check to make sure I did not bring it that way." I have been going to this place for years. Over the years, I have witnessed the manager, Neha, in yelling matches with her customers. That should have been a sign to me to stop going to this cleaners. I have been a loyal customer for approx 10 years, but am very careful with my clothing so had never really brought them dirty or stained clothes. Last week, I accidentally got a tiny pen mark on my new silk dress. I brought it in, explained the situation to the manager, and asked her if I should try to just spot clean it myself since it was a pinpoint size ink mark and it was the first time I had worn this Theory $300 dress. She said no and told me that I should dry clean it. I told her that if she did not think the dry cleaninng could remove it, I would rather try gently cleaning it myself with a Q tip so as not to ruin any surrounding area. She said no and told me to dry clean it. When I got the dress back, the tiny pen mark is now a bigger brown spot. This was a shock since the manager had told me to dry clean it. BUT, what was even worse and what is NOT acceptable is that now surrounding this spot is a 2 inch perimeter of thinned out, worn silk. It looks like they scrubbed it...there is a worn area which is almost a hole now. This was BRAND NEW dress. Neha, the manager started yelling at me when I wanted to discuss this problem with her. She refused to address the problem, but rather told me to leave and to never come back again. She was embarrassing herself and me. I asked her to please have the owner call me, and no one has called me and it has been 4 days already. Neha was probably scared to give the owners my phone number given her unprofessional and mean behavior to a customer. I suspect she never even gave the owners my phone number. She told me the cleaners recently switched owners, and that the owners never come in to the shop. So, if you are the owners of this store, please contact me. My ticket number was 386-552 and customer number 665-9798 on my receipt. I gave Neha my current phone number, which is not the one in your computer anymore. I do not think you want Neha working for your business. She is highly unprofessional and a mean individual. If you read your reviews on Yelp, so many of your customers are complaining about her and one even called her Medusa. She is driving your customers away. And, if your business ruins a dress, you need to take responsibility for this. Especially for your long term customers. I've been a customer here for 4 years. Typically, I drop off clothes in the early morning and deal with a guy...no problems. As previously mentioned, the coupons make it a great deal. Occasionally though, I have to stop by mid-morning or afternoon and run into the Medusa owner as a previous reviewer describes her...LOL. If you're using a coupon, she'll treat you as second-class. If you drop off 10 shirts with a coupon, without telling you, she'll ring up 8 of them at the coupon rate and the other 2 at regular price. Then, when you question the total bill, she'll make up some excuse as to why they don't qualify...there are stripes on this one that might bleed, this pattern needs to be hand-pressed, etc. Funny thing is I've dropped off all these shirts before without any problems. Also, the last time I came in, I showed Medusa the coupon and she proceeded to ring up the entire bill at regular price. I didn't trust her so when I questioned the total, she said "shit" and blamed me for not showing the coupon...which was sitting right in front of her...worst customer service evers. Anyways, if you want the deal, come early in the morning before work and you can deal with the nice workers. If you run into the owner, CHECK your receipt. Dry Clean Express ruined a suit that I dropped off to have the sleeves altered. They shortened the sleeves 2 inches to much and then blamed their mistake on me. THEY took the measurements not me. I paid them and extra $25.00, a total of $50.00 to redo the alteration. The sleeves were still too short and because they cut so much matreial off of the sleeves, the suit is now ruined. They refuse to refund my money. I will never go there again and recommend that you don't either. Rude irresponsible people like the owner and employees of Dry Clean Express should not be able to prey on unsuspecting Tustin consumers. Please help me by boycotting them.
