While looking around in Solvang I came across this cute little donut shop. It was bright, spacious, and with plenty of donuts to choose from. I got the chocolate old-fashioned donut. The donut was fresh moist and very tasty. Service was good and the server was very kind.

This is the newest location of Drover's donuts. I used to visit the original location in Buelton however, the hours and selections in my opinion are better at this location. This location is also better suited for sitting and enjoying your treats and coffee.

Came to the the solvang location since I was in town. The place is very spacious inside and a great place enjoy a drink with a friend(s). The doughnuts were very tasty but the drinks stood out for me. The lady helping us was very nice and helped us decide was tasty doughnuts to try and recommended drinks for us as well.

Stopped in for the harvest moon breakfast sandwich. Decent, but I didn't love the doughnut texture for this as much as I had hoped I would. Everything inside of it was great though.

The chandelier is so unique and beautiful.

New seasonal donuts are delicious. I enjoyed the honey cornbread and the Dubai ones the most but the others were equally delicious. The service was excellent and helpful. Recommended some other items that I will try on a future visit. This is an unique location in the heart of Solvang and really cute decor. Look up at the chandelier when you first enter!

honestly I was worried about the matcha flavor when I saw the color, but it was surprisingly very tasty! and the donut was so cute and yummy! I ate half there and the other half the next morning - it was still pretty good! a fun, modern little spot in the middle of solvang's small village feel. will definitely stop by again on our next visit to the area!

We got there shortly after they opened and I was expecting a nice warm fresh tasting donut (okay maybe not warm) but what we got was a semi cold, semi hard mediocre tasting donut. We go to lots of donut shops and this one misses the mark. The donut is more cakey than doughy. For reference we got the chocolate and the crumble. The actual chocolate topping tasted nice but other than that no flavor, the crumble had no flavor at all and was dry. My boyfriend who looooooves donuts was not to happy with them and I thought they were more like donuts that were previously frozen and thawed out over night. We were so excited to try this spot but both agreed we would not be back. Stick to the danishes when in Solvang.

Overpriced and the cake was too dense. The frosting had good flavor, but the density of the cake buried it. Cool aesthetic though.

Each order comes with 3 freshly made aebleskivers topped with powder sugar. We chose to have ours with the classic raspberry jam and sugar. We added two scoops of Cookies n' Cream in a cone. Just like a regular pancake, you can make it as sweet or simple as you like. I prefer to coat each bite with the tart jam and a side swipe of the sugar. The inside is warm, comforting and so good! The ice cream was perfectly creamy and yummy with the freshly made waffle cone. The store is small -- in just a couple steps you're in one door then out the other. Right outside are three tables and some benches. The tables turnover pretty quickly but get sticky/dirty throughout the day. Napkins are easily available at the inside counter.

Ordered the classic aebleskiver with raspberry jam and sugar. They were just kind of bland and chewy, not bad but not memorable. Maybe I'm just not an aebleskiver person. I thought I remembered them being pretty good, like maybe even crisp in the outside? But these were not that. Oh well. Not that much money wasted. They were like $6.95 for an order of three.

I found myself going back to them until finally giving in to buying a couple to share with family. The type and shape of the buttercookies is slightly different in each box. The dining area has a great combination of classic American diner and Solvang ambiance that really lives up to the town vibes, and since Solvang was built up in its current form as a "Danish town" in the 1960s, that seems pretty accurate. This is pretty much a go-to stop for me when I'm in the area. Although there is usually a wait, the service is pretty quick. If you don't want to wait they have a convenient takeout window. Plus you can buy an aebelskiver pan and mix here! (Pick up some of the Bestemor's Raspberry Jam while you're there and you also won't regret it)

It also came with fried crackers. I didn't like them, but my husband loved them. The french toast looked amazing, I will have to try next time. My husband got eggs Benedict. He loved it. The English muffins were house made, delicious sauce, thinly sliced ham, poached eggs perfectly cooked. I got fish and chips. The chips were malted wedge potatoes. It seemed like normal wedge potatoes, i didnt taste any malted flavor. The fish was rockfish. It was definitely fresh, really good, you could almost taste the sea. The batter was very very light and crunchy. They only thing I would say is it was a little oily. The tartar sauce was good, nothing unusual. There was a side of fresh greens, not cole slaw. They were very lightly dressed and exceptionally fresh, like just picked from someone's garden. If you love cole slaw you may be disappointed, if you love fresh greens you will be happy. My husband got a bloody Mary. It was quite tasty. Spicy and you could taste the horseradish. The olives were really good (I'm an olive lover). Coffee was excellent. Jared was our server and he was amazing. We had constant refills of our coffee and water from the staff. The patio was very nice and perfect for people watching. I loved the BTG wine list. I will come back to the bar again for shrimp cocktail and a Whitcraft wine (my fav pinots).

The dining room was beautiful and would make a great date night spot with its quieter atmosphere, but it felt a little warm for our liking, so we chose to sit outside. The patio was comfortable, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening. We started with the grilled skirt steak, ordered medium rare, although it came out closer to medium well. Fortunately, the sesame-cilantro marinade and pickled vegetables brought plenty of flavor to the dish and made up for the temperature miss. For our entrée, we shared the Creekstone ribeye. We ordered it medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium. Despite that, the steak was still very tasty. We paired it with the glazed wild mushrooms, which ended up being my favorite item of the savory dishes, along with the Stuffed Shell "Mac n' Cheese." Everything arrived hot and was well prepared. We also ordered a few cocktails, which were okay but didn't stand out. A little more attention behind the bar would have elevated the experience even further. Halfway through dinner, I asked for Maldon sea salt for the steak, and the team happily accommodated the request, which was appreciated. The highlight of the night was easily the Brown Butter Brioche Donuts for dessert. Absolutely fantastic. Soft, rich, and packed with flavor. They were the perfect way to end the meal and the one dish I'd tell everyone to order. Overall, while a couple of the steak temperatures missed the mark and the drinks were a bit mid, the service, atmosphere, and dessert made for a very enjoyable evening. We'd definitely come back and explore more of the menu.
