Doughnuts are good but we spent over $35.00 on them all for the guy behind the counter to put them in a bag. The jelly filled got all over everything and not very share-friendly with coworkers. Online shows they come in a box.

Oh how we wish you would make your fritters more crispy. You know, the kind that are made up of all these delectable crunchy nuggets! Otherwise, they are just...dough-ey.... I mean, doesn't fritter mean FRIED in some lovely language? Fosters in Lompoc, off H St. by Comcast are done right. But everything else is better in B town. Please, please reconsider your fritter! Thank you!

Only bought four and still got a box

It's behind Jack in the Box in what seems more like an office park (see my photo). NOT in the bigger Albertsons shopping center. There, I just saved you 5 minutes that you can enjoy eating donuts. Upscale, higher quality, espresso machine on premises I'd like to see more "unusual" creative donuts, I'm not expecting Voodo because Buellton is not Portland, but is down the street from the greatest pastries in the land, so Drovers should be commended for competing with that. Friendly service, ample parking, inside seating.

Time to EAT the donuts -- at Drovers! Great selection of unique, freshly make round bundles of joy await you here. We tried two of the "cake" donuts -- pumpkin and blueberry -- both went great with our morning coffee. Looking forward to trying the maple bacon one next time. Being from New York City and the son of the original "Dunkin Donut Man" -- I know my donuts!

The best doughnuts that I have ever had. Absolutely scrumptious. It was fluffy and cakey. The frosting was perfect. I was hesitant to share with my family because they were SO good!

Excellent donuts! We drove up to Solvang to celebrate our anniversary and stopped based on a friend's recommendation. GCP's did not disappoint! Excellent!

I've been here for donuts twice now and am always so impressed! Their options are so unique and the donuts are always really fresh. They have beautiful decor inside and parking is really easy. The staff are always super friendly and I feel like the prices are very comparable for such fancy donuts. My nieces always find donuts they love, so it's definitely kid approved! I highly recommend getting one of every kind just to be able to try a variety!

Thoughts: I must admit that I'm not a bread person. The only reason I went here is that I had to take some tourists around. Solvang was a pretty obvious stop to make, and we found ourselves in Olsen's. I'm a believer of nailing the simple things, because you won't be able to hide it in fluff. What I liked about Olsen's bread is that they taste home made. The flavors taste exactly like what you asked for, and they don't have those added chemicals that certain establishments use to make the flavors "pop out". The bread was flaky, chewy, and an overall joy to consume. Ambiance: The tables and chairs had a cafe vibe (which is what the place is). It's clean, the bakery smelled great, and the high foot traffic means that the turnaround keeps the food fresh. Service: Straightforward. Pick your bread, ask your questions, and the staff will ring you up after getting what you asked for.

Each order comes with 3 freshly made aebleskivers topped with powder sugar. We chose to have ours with the classic raspberry jam and sugar. We added two scoops of Cookies n' Cream in a cone. Just like a regular pancake, you can make it as sweet or simple as you like. I prefer to coat each bite with the tart jam and a side swipe of the sugar. The inside is warm, comforting and so good! The ice cream was perfectly creamy and yummy with the freshly made waffle cone. The store is small -- in just a couple steps you're in one door then out the other. Right outside are three tables and some benches. The tables turnover pretty quickly but get sticky/dirty throughout the day. Napkins are easily available at the inside counter.

Coast Range seemed to check all the boxes, and they had an available reservation on the patio. We got (for us) the perfect table, which was a small area next to the entrance. Actually only our table, which was great for containing our puppy, plus a heat lamp and service over the pony wall which worked out great! We started with delicious cold, crisp martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives and a bowl of water for our pup. Our server (Chelsea B?) was so fun and friendly! We then had maybe the best wedge salad we've ever had! I think the lettuce was cut to, but not thru, the base, and opened up, with toppings inside. Roasted beet cubes, bacon, blue cheese and shallots, plus cherry tomatoes, hard boiled egg quarters and fried shallots garnish. It was incredible. I think they should call it "More than a Wedge." We also had the Ahi crudo, which had a delicious sauce and thinly sliced peppers. I wasn't too hungry, so had the French onion soup as my main course. So, it definitely didn't taste anything like French onion soup! It looked like it, and it was definitely cooked down onions but the flavor wasn't anything like I'd expect. However, it was really delicious and satisfied my craving for something warm & cheesy. So if you go in knowing that, I think you'll enjoy it. I don't like lamb, so my husband often gets it when we go out. When he took his first bite, I could tell he enjoyed it. He said it was some of the best lamb he's had and he's had a lot! It's à la carte, but did come with a tiny bit of salad and a roasted pepper which he thought was perfect. Since I was having the soup we didn't order a vegetable side, which we normally would, but this vegetable garnish worked perfectly for him. Definitely recommended!

We were seated right away as we had arrived a few minutes after they opened. The inside was dark, but cozy. For drinks, I ordered the Vaquero Martini which was pretty good and my husband ordered an Old Fashioned - we thought it was very strange that it came in a glass with a bunch of ice instead of a giant cube or sphere. The food items were a bit pricy so my husband and I decided to split some appetizers - Artichokes, French Onion Soup and the Skirt Steak. We ordered the Kids Bolognese Pasta which our daughter loved - I wish my husband and I could have said the same thing about what we ordered. I did enjoy the French Onion Soup the best, but we have made much better artichokes at home and the skirt steak was barely seasoned. Overall, staff were very friendly, but the food was not worth the price point at all in our opinion. Everything was honestly mid - we had high hopes considering all of the Michelin Star recognitions. I know we only ordered appetizers, but we thought it would have given us a little taste of everything. I'm not sure if we came on an off day, but if we're ever in Solvang again, Coast Range will not be a restaurant we rush to unfortunately.
