Most of the time the counter person looks confused by my request on ONE donut hole "to purchase and taste", but this gentleman smiled and "tonged" one to me. YUM! It tastes like a donut SHOULD! So I got the Tiger Tail crumble to go. He heated our croissant sandwiches and we ate them outside at their shaded tables - perfect! Just what we needed before continuing on the road. Now it's safe to say I definitely have enjoyed each experience I've had at Drover's. The staff has always been helpful when I inquire for some direction with selecting a donut. I always lean towards the chocolate flavors and have been satisfied every time! I even brought a donut to my boss since he admitted to never having tried one from Drover's. He said it was very delicious. Their donuts are definitely more cakey than others I've tried but I enjoy the texture. They have the more gourmet style flavors but also have the classic ones (ie glazed) which makes for an inclusive donut experience. For the coffee I had opted for a simple latte.
