I expected care, flavor, and professionalism, and received none of the above. This review was necessary. I would not recommend this bakery for custom cakes. And the cost was over the top! $60. Smh! I wouldn't mind if it was worth it. Gina's Piece of Cake is my normal go to, but they weren't taking any more orders. Probably due to Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. Next time my alternative to Gina's would be Albertson's. This lady at Orcutt was beyond RUDE and just down right nasty! Absolutely pass her up! Yuk yuk yuk!

Even though they normally make them with peanuts (which I'm allergic to), they were incredibly kind and allowed me to place a custom order without peanuts. That meant so much to me! They were so generous, sweet, and accommodating throughout the whole process. They're ambience is really sweet. It smells like sweet treats and it's so cute when they have a mirror and you can see them baking cakes and desserts. It's really special to me to see that. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, and you can really tell they put love into their baking. I highly recommend their small treats and their cakes you will not be disappointed!
