Literally as their name they made my move SO EASY a literal dream ! From getting a quote to adding on more items, to the actual move itself everything went so smoothly. And I kept adding items I felt so annoying but Zoe was so easy to work with. Moving is already so so so stressful and movers can make or break you. And I'm so happy I went through so many reviews and found dream moving. They gave me a window of 1-3 and they called ahead of time and got to my place probably before 1:30 and finished with everything just a little after 4:00. It was just two people but they were SOOO efficient. Very nice, respectful, and professional. Just what you want in movers. They took care of my belongings so well. I have a super heavy mirror and a large tv I was so worried about both of them but they took great care of my things. Pricing was also great for everything it was around $600 which isn't bad at all. I'm super happy that I picked them definitely made moving so much easier. If you're looking for movers look no further easy choice to make. Thank you so much guys! read more

Truly the worst moving experience I've had by far and I've moved 10x in the last 8 years. My husband and I used Dream Moving last year and had a great experience where they packed up and moved all of our belongings. Due to us having a positive experience last year, when it was time to move again we went with Dream Moving even though we were able to get lower quotes from competitors. When booking the move were told by Zoe that the movers would arrive between 8-9 am on move day of May 6. Beyond moving our items, we had an agreement where Dream would pack up our kitchen items for an additional fee. On May 6, moving day, movers had not arrived by 9am. I called Zoe to learn the status of the movers and she followed up to inform me the movers were on their way. The leader of the move, John also called me to say he was running late. The movers did not arrive until 9:45. After arriving, John and his team of movers came to introduce themselves and asses the work to be done. The movers were then gone for an extended period of time. It took another follow up call from us to learn they were having issues entering through the service elevator. Since John had our number because he called us to say they were running late, I don't know why he didn't call to say they were having trouble re-entering the building especially due to the move starting behind schedule. Once the team got started, they moved fairly quickly. John was the one who packed the majority of our kitchen items. When we reached our new home, we were still behind schedule and expressed our displeasure and received a discount off the move. We were a little annoyed due to the time lost but were ready to shift to unpacking. Unfortunately our displeasure was just beginning. On Tuesday May 9th, while unpacking the e learned that 26 of our kitchen items were broken during the move. Most disheartening- the broken items included momentous items we hoped would outlive us such the champagne flutes we toasted with at our wedding, as well as handmade imported cookware from our home country Ethiopia. We have been trying to communicate with Alex or any other manager available since May 9th. Its possible a manager may have called on the 11th and 12th (I had and have called back) but there was no voicemail left to confirm who was calling. It has now been 54 days since the last missed call I have (potentially from a manager).  Since May 12th, I have called the office multiple times myself and tried to arrange specific times to speak with the manager to avoid phone tag- no response. Additionally, I had to follow up via phone to Dream Moving when I didn't receive responses to two emails I sent to learn that the insurance company takes 30 days to reach out to a client. It has been 56 days and we have not received communication from the insurance company. We want to move forward and begin trying to replace our items as we have been uncomfortable in our home with a limited number of plates, cups, etc for close to two months now. Dream Moving may have started out like a dream experience but it is surely our current moving nightmare. read more

Thank you very much for your visit to our home. Everyone we have communicate with in your company has been very professional and nice. John was an excellent representative of the company- knowledgeable, thorough and respectful. While we decided to go with a different company that was more in our budget, we could tell by your estimate how much attention you pay to detail and the importance of care of property. We hope others more on the high end of the economic scale will avail themselves of your services. We are a sure they will be more than satisfied with your work. read more

My move was scheduled for the day of a snowstorm and had to be pushed to the next day due to road restrictions. On the day of the actual move, road conditions, parking conditions, and traffic delayed our move by several hours. Despite getting off to a rough start, the movers were very efficient, wrapped furniture and other items very carefully, and unloaded the truck very very quickly at the new apartment. None of us could've controlled the weather but everything that was in their control went as smoothly as it could've gone. read more

I used Dream Moving in October 2020 to move my parents. My parent's home was a 3 bedroom home with a full basement and attic. Dream Moving made a stressful and emotional move much less stressful and emotional. When I contacted Johnnie for a quote, he explained how the quote is accessed and how the quote will be determined. He scheduled a date to come and look at the house, boxes, furniture etc. This determines the quote. He explained everything and let me know if I need help or boxes to contact him and someone would come and bring them to my parents home. The day of the move, Johnnie and his crew worked non stop (except for a few 5 minute rest breaks which they ABSOLUTELY NEEDED) from about 10:00 a.m. until about 9:00 p.m. I needed them to move all of the furniture and boxes to storage and to a new apartment. The moving crew WORKED!!! Finding and hiring a moving company can be stressful because you are trusting them with your priceless possessions. My parents have furniture that are older than I and as old as them. Dream Moving took the time to pack and secure those items. The crew worked efficiently but took extreme care with every item they handled. If you are reading this review to hire a mover, look no further. Dream Moving made moving my parents from their home easier and less stressful. Moving from anywhere is stressful. But Moving, during a global pandemic, from a house that your parents have had for over 20 years, that has been your families shelter emotionally and physically whenever you needed it, is a different level of stress and emotion. Dream Moving made that day something that I don't look back on with sadness. I look back on it with happiness because they were professional and more important than that, they were compassionate and considerate. Choosing Dream Moving will be a decision you WILL NOT REGRET! read more

This is my first time I have worked with Dream Moving and they are fantastic! Absolutely best mover in New York City. The mover Peter was on time, super quick, carefully and efficient. Everything went smoothly and professional. Also in this crazy pandemic time they wore masks and socially distanced as best they could. Thank you Peter and your team. I am highly recommend. read more

I moved twice with them and they are professional, prompt and detail oriented. Very satisfied with their service

Dream moving was a DREAM! From start to finish they were a pleasure to work with. My moving day started off stressful at 5am, cramming my packing into a short period of time. By the time John, Alex, and the rest of the crew showed up, I knew I was in good hands. John and Alex were quick to assess our moving situation and were extremely accommodating for additional items to move. All of our things were handled with care and efficiently packed to a tee. What I thought was going to be a difficult move turned out to be seamless and it made our lives so much easier. Hands down you should work with Dream Moving! Thanks guys! read more

I cant say enough good things about Dream Moving. We were hesitant to book with them because they don't have as many reviews as some other firms. But, THEY WERE GREAT! They were polite, clean, helpful and worked quickly and efficiently. They were on time, they wore masks, and they brought their own tape, blankets, wrap etc.. all that was needed to make sure we could protect our furniture and goods during the move. There were no hidden fees AND they actually set up the bed and rugs before they left. I would definitely use them again! All in all, a great experience. read more

A+ plus movers which we HIGHLY RECOMMEND... Priced right!! Outstanding professionals who arrived at scheduled time, packed items carefully and unpacked/delivered items on time. Staff was masked and pleasant; great to work with. Will use again and tell all our friends!!! read more

We worked with Dream Moving a couple of weeks ago to move both our apartment in Brooklyn and my business, it was a complex move but Dream Moving made everything feel and look very easy. They were efficient, caring and helpful every step of the way. After ten years in New York and many moves throughout the years, Dream Moving really gave me and my family one of the best moving experiences we've had. Highly recommend working with them and their great team for your move. read more

Efficient and friendly. They were great to work with, showed up on time, and completed our move quickly.

These guys were truly amazing! Not only did they show up on time, they were quick, clean, and friendly! They moved my stuff into a storage facility, fit everything in perfectly. Fantastic job! read more

I am experiencing a very stressful situation that caused me to have to move suddenly. I searched online and found a great moving company that was able to help when I needed them. The woman Zoey who answered the phone was so nice and explained everything to me in great detail. I booked them the same day and had an amazing experience the next day. The movers were friendly, worked quickly, respected all of my belongings, and I couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommend them!!! If I can't find anyone to help me when I'm ready to move into my new apartment in a few months, I'll definitely be calling Dream Moving back. read more

I highly recommend Dream Moving the team was absolutely amazing they wrapped my furniture extremely carefully and professionally. Zoe at the customer service was always responsive and available to discuss anything I needed. I have moved several times during my time in New York and this move was absolutely top-notch compared to every other one I've ever used. There is no doubt in my mind that I would use Dream Moving for my next move. read more

These guys were great. Zoe was super helpful with all of our questions before the move. On the day of the move, even though they had to park a block away, John and his crew were quick, efficient and cheerful. Such a pleasure to work with. AND a great price. Highly recommend! read more

Only drawback was that one of my cherished items was lost in the move. It was a mirror that was a family heirloom that was over 80 years old. It is really sad, but Alex at least worked with me to check his trucks for the mirror, but to no avail. Still a 5 star review nonetheless read more

I hired Dream Movers this past Friday for a move from Brooklyn to upstate NY. They gave us the cheapest quote of all the moving companies we researched. They were fantastic, and I highly recommend them. The foreman communicated clearly with me about their process and about their rates. The team was efficient, professional, and friendly. They seemed to really enjoy the work and they created a happy, relaxed atmosphere. That was very welcome, given how stressful moving can be! I would definitely hire them again! read more

These guys are awesome! We moved last week and they made sure the process was smooth and stress-free for us. The whole team is very professional, hard-working, and friendly. read more

Dream Moving were amazing. They did the move on a miserable day, in pouring rain. They were polite, efficient and price was consistent with quote given. No surprise add-on fees or excuses. Very happy with their service. From the moment I called, Zoe answered my questions, listed the items I needed moved and gave me a quote. Later I added more boxes and she quickly revised my quote. Very happy with my decision to go with them for my move, will definitely use again. read more

I chose Dream Moving because they gave me the lowest quote by far, and had great reviews. It was my first time using movers and everything went perfectly! John (the owner) was friendly and helpful. He walked me through the details of the contract and made my moving experience relaxing and stress-free. The movers were great - they worked very quickly and none of my things were damaged, even though I had delicate things that I didn't pack very well. They were also able to keep my things in storage for one night between the moves for a reasonable price. I'll definitely use Dream Moving again! read more

They are the best!!! I rarely wrote review on Yelp (this is probably my second time) but I truly think they deserved my time to provide my honest feedback. First of all, Zoe is very helpful with all my questions. She explained the way team will secure my stuff so I feel comfortable to hire them knowing everything will be fine. Second, the crew arrived not just on time but actually early. I had very bad experience before - the mover had significant delay so I lost the scheduled freight elevator and did not finish moving till midnight. Third, they came well prepared - 5 people plus all the boxes, plastic wrap, and blankets. They were also very careful moving between apartments so no damages occurred on the walls. Last, I person think it is very sweet. One of the pads under side table by the bed is lost. I contacted them to see if they by any chances found in the car. Even though they did not, they reached out and mentioned they can find one from IKEA for me. If you are looking for a mover, I think it is the one!!! read more

I've endured countless moves with at least a dozen moving teams, and this was BY FAR the best experience I've had. This company is so high-efficiency and organized from the start. I was really impressed by this, and how responsive they were from day one. On the day of the move, they were calling with updates while on route, immediately upon arrival, and kept me notified of their progress. They were extremely careful with items moved, and even helped point out some damage the previous person had left in the new place I was moving into so I wouldn't wrongly be held responsible. The team I had for this move was really awesome, I cannot say enough good things. They were extremely conscientious of everything, and went above and beyond to do everything with care and consideration. If I ever have to move again, I will be calling them. It's rare to have such a reliable company that takes great pride in what they do and how well they do it. Very grateful for such great assistance at what was a very stressful time. read more
