We had a family lunch at this restaurant and it was so nice! We went at a not so busy time so we were seated very quickly. If you're looking for yummy Chinese food, this is the place. We ordered the chow mein, fried rice and kung pao chicken. As sides, we got the veggie egg rolls and pot stickers. Everything was so delicious! It also works out perfectly if you order food and then want to take some to go. It makes for perfect left over food. I would love to come back! I will be back soon. read more

We went here before the Lesher play. I was a little hesitant from a past experience, but I now recommend this restaurant. We had eggplant, a combo of 3, and a mango chicken dish. All three were outstanding. While it took a while for the food the servers were very pleasant and accommodating. Restaurant decor is not noteworthy but very clean. read more

Service was nice. The hot and sour soup was bland and very little of the wonderful ingredients inside mostly the bland soup Spicy chicken with basil should have been called too much green pepper and some chicken but It had a nice flavor. Too bad it was filled with vegetables not meat The other dish I ordered was bbq pork chow fun and it was tasty With very little of the barbecue pork My friend ordered eggplant dish and liked it very much read more

We had never gone into Dragon's Arch because they don't have outside seating, but I've been wanting to order from them since their rebrand. We ordered the fried rice, egg drop seaweed soup (cup), broccoli beef, and chicken with snow pea. The fried rice was so unflavored that I only had a few bites and did not otherwise eat and while I loved they had a smaller version of egg drop soup, it too was fairly bland. Even the broccoli beef just didn't have much to it until we added in some soy sauce. The biggest stand outs were the XLB, which while not as amazing as Creek House, were a definite step up from its neighbor Dough Zone and about on par with Dumpling Hours, and the snow pea chicken, which was flavorful and delicious. Overall, I would likely order the snow pea chicken and the egg drop seaweed soup again as I think they would be perfect 'at home with a cold' dishes. read more

9.18 I ordered the West lake minced beef soup which cost me $14 but there was barely any beef in it. Very disappointing when restaurant charge high price and the portion and quality of the food no where near the price. read more

This restaurant is located on locust St. embedded with other restaurants on this street. They are Mandarin, Cantonese/Asian Fusion restaurant. They serve popular dishes such as Mongolian beef and Orange Chicken. This visit though we didn't eat any meat. We had their lovely sour soup, crab rangoon, edamame for starters. Ty em we ordered two lunch specials: the honey walnut prawns and vegetarian kung pao with tofu. The service was fast. There was only one guy taking orders and he was very nice. Once order was taking food came within minutes. And the food was hot. Just like I like it. The decor is very nice as always Asian decor doesn't ever disappoint. The place is not huge but it's not tiny. There was no wait when we came in. Overall experience was good. Parking: there some street parking if you can get them but there's also public parking garage. Price: standard pricing for lunch specials it was less than $20 (maybe $16/17 a plate. read more

When it comes to traditional Chinese cuisine, Dragon's Arch, formerly Dragon's Pond, is just about the sole authentic, high-quality game in town, or for that matter, the entire area; unless you treat yourself to the luxury of trekking to the City's Richmond district New Chinatown for comparable Chinese restaurants. A couple of passable Creek alternatives don't quite match this place's superb operation. Their online ordering's efficient & dependable as well; and your food's guaranteed to arrive warm, perfectly packaged & prepared, and generously portioned. Most recently, I entertained with a little feast an Ethiopian family trio whose vegan father was absolutely, well, delighted with their vegan delight dish! As well as the rest of the savory & flavorful dishes ordered, including succulent prawns in black bean sauce together with other standard favorites like dumplings, fried rice combo & won ton noodle soup, and even Hong Kong-style chow mein. My sole disappointment was the scarcity of fish filet-style seafood dishes though beef, pork, & poultry offerings remain plentiful. A sweet-sounding hostess even called us up before delivery to thoughtfully suggest a substitute for a certain item that was temporarily out of stock. So conscientious service invariably accompanies their exceptionally pleasing, crowd-pleasing meals. These wonderful people work diligently to please their patrons in every aspect, earning most consistently that loyal & ever satisfied patronage! Well done, Dragon's Arch! read more

This is the worst Chinese food the lemon chicken was awful . So the next day I called and told her the food was not my taste buds too tangy tasting. So I asked if she could make me some Mongolian beef and they did they gave me a discount but forgot to put the rice in and they also messed up on the Mongolian beef it had way to many onions in it read more

We were looking for a place to have Chinese food. Based on the previous recommendations we decided to give Dragon's Arch a try. What a lucky find. We came in early Sunday night and patrons kept coming in. There was also a steady stream of food pickups too. It's a small restaurant with nice decor. We ordered the Dragon's Arch Combo Chow Mein, the Broccoli Beef, the String Bean with Bean Curd, and the Mu Shu Pork. This was some of the best Chinese food I've had in a while. The vegetables were fresh and the string beans were nice and crisp. The beef in the broccoli beef was very tender. This is clearly a restaurant that we're coming back to The portions were very large, giving three of us plenty of food to take home. Going to have to come back and try the lunch menu read more

11/5/25 parked across the street in a min parking garage with was free for my visit, take a ticket and they have a two to pay feature at the two exit gates . I found this spot searching yelp" Chinese food Walnut Creek " directly across from Melos Italian table and the San Francisco Ice creamery Which also has food like burgers etc. on to Dragons Arch upon entering I knew it would be good service and food from the ambience, decor. I prefer to eat after the traditional lunch after 2:30 pm ish . The hot and sour soup was unique not just in the dense color and was more thicker and I liked it a lot . The veggie egg roll was perfect size for appetizer and it hit good. The Triple Kung was delicious but not the best I've ever had. The owner manager I think he was, came to me filled up my water and asked several times If I liked the meal. He asked how he found us. I told him help from that point on the service was on point . The prices were not exuberant or over the top. Service was enjoyable and appreciative here. Metered parking curbside if you can lucky . Lots of walkable desert places for your post meal. Walnut Creek never disappoints when it comes to options and different cuisines. I will definitely be back and enjoy a dinner with family and order other things Full bar and big menu .5/5 Location is super nice. Close to movie theater and shopping at Broadway plaza. read more

If you're looking for a restaurant that serves delicious food, offers affordable prices, provides great service, a clean environment, and has a friendly owner and staff members, I highly recommend Dragon's Arch Restaurant! The team went above and beyond in helping me reserve the entire space for our daughter's baptismal reception, accommodating approximately 50 guests. From the planning stages to the actual event, everything went smoothly and turned out well. I had the pleasure of working closely with the owner, Zach, who consistently demonstrated kindness, clear and prompt communication, kindly answered all my questions and concerns, and offered invaluable assistance. We truly had a wonderful experience. read more

They are breaking records for delivery! I got my food in less than 30 minutes. It's so good and hot. I ordered bbq pork chowmein, extra spicy hot wings, egg rolls and the pork buns. Everything tasted fresh and hot. I think I can eat their food daily, lol. Egg rolls were nicely crunchy, the pork buns the bread alone is good, soft and chewy, the spicy hot wings are flavorful. The bbq pork chow mein was so satisfying. I think I inhaled my plate. Tip: the wings come in moist and flavorful. Last time I saved a few and we baked them. They were even better tasting when reheated in oven. read more

Had a great dinner here after seeing a play at the Lescher. We loved everything we ordered but especially the crispy glazed chicken. Yum! Unbelievably great food! The spicy tangy chicken was delicious, the crispy chicken was cooked perfectly and had the best sauce I think I've ever had from an Asian cuisine. The eggrolls tasted flavorful and fresh, the potstickers were great. Overall, this place is a gem. Highly recommend! Great customer service, food was fresh and delivered quickly, very clean and well kept restaurant. read more

If I could give this place more stars, I would. I've been coming here for about 3 years now and I'm addicted. I've gotten my partner and family addicted too. Two things that make me keep coming back routinely: #1. the fact that the food is SO consistently good. #2 the service is excellent. The food is ALWAYS delicious, I've never had a meal that they messed up (and I've been here dozens of times). And the service, gosh, they are all SO kind, and food is usually super fast to come out. The owner, Zach, is incredibly kind. Despite all the customers they get, he remembers my whole food order and drink every time I come! Ivan and the other servers are also incredibly kind. Ivan recommended the Crispy Glazed Chicken to me a year ago and I've been getting it ever since because it's soooo addicting and perfectly crispy. The chicken chow mein is flavorful and I love that the chicken is incredibly tender and they do not skimp on the portions! The hoisin string beans are A MUST. Best string beans I've ever had (and I've had a lot at different places). I read that others think it to be a little bit pricey, I think the portion sizes, quality, and service make it very worth it. For me and my partner (who both can eat a lot) we always have leftovers. It's a family owned business and I'm happy to help support their awesome restaurant. The owner recommended I try their dim sum next time, saying he thinks it's some of the best in the area. I trust his opinion so next time I come, I'm certainly gonna try! read more

They recently reopened after remodeling and changing the name. The remodeled restaurant is quite cozy and nice. The service is excellent, friendly and efficient. We went with a bunch of friends for lunch. I got the elite eggplant which was very good. The eggplant was hot and fresh and the proteins were tender and flavorful. Friends got the Singapore noodles, string beans with tofu, Kung pao chicken, broccoli beef. I didn't hear any complaints. I'll definitely go back! read more

Located on the 'restaurant row' section of Locust Street, we came here for lunch on a Monday after SB Sunday. Arriving right as they opened, it kind of took us by surprise as to how nice the interior decor is. Contemporary and upscale, very nice. Our server was excellent, friendly and helpful throughout our meal. Their lunch specials menu is quite extensive. It was really difficult to decide on what to have. We opted for the Hunan beef (requested extra spicy), and the General Tso's chicken. The lunch special gives you soup of the day (ours was hot/sour soup), fried rice, and we also had the spring roll. You get a lot of food for the price! Everything was excellent, and especially the 'crisp' of both the Hunan beef and the General Tso's chicken. Excellent on all parts. Flavors and spiciness were spot on. All ingredients were fresh and of good quality. All in all, a very good lunch at a very good price. This isn't PaEx so just know the food and dining experience is worth the extra bucks. read more

Dragon's Arch is the kind of spot that turns "Where should we eat?" into an automatic answer. My boyfriend and I swear by this place. It sits perfectly in downtown Walnut Creek, a quick stroll from Barnes & Noble and the movie theater, so our favorite date night looks like this: park once, browse some books, wander over to Dragon's Arch, then walk to the theater. The food? Hands down, no contest, the best Chinese we have ever had. The chicken fried rice and veggie chow mein are non-negotiables on our table, and we rotate through our favorite entrees like sweet-and-sour chicken, beef and broccoli, black bean chicken, even the mango chicken when we are feeling tropical. Everything arrives piping hot in under twenty minutes, even when the dining room is buzzing, because their service team runs a tight ship without ever making you feel rushed. If you can swing a midday visit, the lunch special is the steal. About thirteen bucks gets you soup to start, an entrée, rice (steamed or fried), plus a salad or egg roll. The portions are generous enough to split or to box up for round two later. Quality clearly tops their priority list, and it shows in every bite and every interaction. In short, Dragon's Arch isn't just dinner, it's become the anchor of our downtown adventures and I can't recommend this place enough! read more

The staff is always very helpful, and are quick to take your order and attend to your needs. The takeout is quick as well! The atmosphere is casual and open, with a nice bar for those after work meetings. I've been coming here for years and the food was always quality until the last time we came. The soups were decent, but the chicken, beef and noodles we got were very bland, almost like they forgot to put sauce and seasoning on any of the meat or vegetables. I'm hoping this was only a one time thing. I'll give it another go because they've been good plenty of times before, but this last time was disappointing. read more
