If you're looking for a restaurant that serves delicious food, offers affordable prices, provides great service, a clean environment, and has a friendly owner and staff members, I highly recommend Dragon's Arch Restaurant! The team went above and beyond in helping me reserve the entire space for our daughter's baptismal reception, accommodating approximately 50 guests. From the planning stages to the actual event, everything went smoothly and turned out well. I had the pleasure of working closely with the owner, Zach, who consistently demonstrated kindness, clear and prompt communication, kindly answered all my questions and concerns, and offered invaluable assistance. We truly had a wonderful experience.

We were looking for a place to have Chinese food. Based on the previous recommendations we decided to give Dragon's Arch a try. What a lucky find. We came in early Sunday night and patrons kept coming in. There was also a steady stream of food pickups too. It's a small restaurant with nice decor. We ordered the Dragon's Arch Combo Chow Mein, the Broccoli Beef, the String Bean with Bean Curd, and the Mu Shu Pork. This was some of the best Chinese food I've had in a while. The vegetables were fresh and the string beans were nice and crisp. The beef in the broccoli beef was very tender. This is clearly a restaurant that we're coming back to The portions were very large, giving three of us plenty of food to take home. Going to have to come back and try the lunch menu

11/5/25 parked across the street in a min parking garage with was free for my visit, take a ticket and they have a two to pay feature at the two exit gates . I found this spot searching yelp" Chinese food Walnut Creek " directly across from Melos Italian table and the San Francisco Ice creamery Which also has food like burgers etc. on to Dragons Arch upon entering I knew it would be good service and food from the ambience, decor. I prefer to eat after the traditional lunch after 2:30 pm ish . The hot and sour soup was unique not just in the dense color and was more thicker and I liked it a lot . The veggie egg roll was perfect size for appetizer and it hit good. The Triple Kung was delicious but not the best I've ever had. The owner manager I think he was, came to me filled up my water and asked several times If I liked the meal. He asked how he found us. I told him help from that point on the service was on point . The prices were not exuberant or over the top. Service was enjoyable and appreciative here. Metered parking curbside if you can lucky . Lots of walkable desert places for your post meal. Walnut Creek never disappoints when it comes to options and different cuisines. I will definitely be back and enjoy a dinner with family and order other things Full bar and big menu .5/5 Location is super nice. Close to movie theater and shopping at Broadway plaza.

They are breaking records for delivery! I got my food in less than 30 minutes. It's so good and hot. I ordered bbq pork chowmein, extra spicy hot wings, egg rolls and the pork buns. Everything tasted fresh and hot. I think I can eat their food daily, lol. Egg rolls were nicely crunchy, the pork buns the bread alone is good, soft and chewy, the spicy hot wings are flavorful. The bbq pork chow mein was so satisfying. I think I inhaled my plate. Tip: the wings come in moist and flavorful. Last time I saved a few and we baked them. They were even better tasting when reheated in oven.

Went to lunch here while visiting a friend and it was delicious! One of the best fried calamari I've ever had. I got the walnut shrimp lunch plate & it was superb! Service was extremely quick and efficient, too. The only con was that the meat/protein ratio in the chow mein and cow fun was lacking.

If I could give this place more stars, I would. I've been coming here for about 3 years now and I'm addicted. I've gotten my partner and family addicted too. Two things that make me keep coming back routinely: #1. the fact that the food is SO consistently good. #2 the service is excellent. The food is ALWAYS delicious, I've never had a meal that they messed up (and I've been here dozens of times). And the service, gosh, they are all SO kind, and food is usually super fast to come out. The owner, Zach, is incredibly kind. Despite all the customers they get, he remembers my whole food order and drink every time I come! Ivan and the other servers are also incredibly kind. Ivan recommended the Crispy Glazed Chicken to me a year ago and I've been getting it ever since because it's soooo addicting and perfectly crispy. The chicken chow mein is flavorful and I love that the chicken is incredibly tender and they do not skimp on the portions! The hoisin string beans are A MUST. Best string beans I've ever had (and I've had a lot at different places). I read that others think it to be a little bit pricey, I think the portion sizes, quality, and service make it very worth it. For me and my partner (who both can eat a lot) we always have leftovers. It's a family owned business and I'm happy to help support their awesome restaurant. The owner recommended I try their dim sum next time, saying he thinks it's some of the best in the area. I trust his opinion so next time I come, I'm certainly gonna try!

They recently reopened after remodeling and changing the name. The remodeled restaurant is quite cozy and nice. The service is excellent, friendly and efficient. We went with a bunch of friends for lunch. I got the elite eggplant which was very good. The eggplant was hot and fresh and the proteins were tender and flavorful. Friends got the Singapore noodles, string beans with tofu, Kung pao chicken, broccoli beef. I didn't hear any complaints. I'll definitely go back!

Located on the 'restaurant row' section of Locust Street, we came here for lunch on a Monday after SB Sunday. Arriving right as they opened, it kind of took us by surprise as to how nice the interior decor is. Contemporary and upscale, very nice. Our server was excellent, friendly and helpful throughout our meal. Their lunch specials menu is quite extensive. It was really difficult to decide on what to have. We opted for the Hunan beef (requested extra spicy), and the General Tso's chicken. The lunch special gives you soup of the day (ours was hot/sour soup), fried rice, and we also had the spring roll. You get a lot of food for the price! Everything was excellent, and especially the 'crisp' of both the Hunan beef and the General Tso's chicken. Excellent on all parts. Flavors and spiciness were spot on. All ingredients were fresh and of good quality. All in all, a very good lunch at a very good price. This isn't PaEx so just know the food and dining experience is worth the extra bucks.

Great staff and clean restaurant. They have a lunch menu on the weekends which not many places have. The food is amazing with great proportions as well! I ordered the hot and sour soup, mango beef, lemon prawns, and walnut prawns and they all tasted great! I would definitely recommend this chinese restaurant if you're in the area.

We love Dragon's Pond! The people are so friendly and make you feel welcome. The food is the best Chinese in the East Bay!! Tonight we had Chow Mein and Spicy Chicken with fresh basil. Delicious! All of their food is great so you can feel adventurous and get literally anything from the menu! Give them a try and you'll be so happy you did.

Food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and organized. The service was very quick and friendly. Our server showed us his trial and error process for the walnuts they use in their walnut prawns. I can say they nailed it. If I lived closer I'd be a regular here.

Chicken Crispy Noodles: this is the star of the show for me. Their pan fried noodles are perfect. It reminds me of a place I used to go to in sf when I was in middle school which is no longer there. The taste, texture of the noodles brought back memories! I know there are many iterations of pan fried Hong Kong style noodles, but those are also not created equally. This is a winner! Mapo tofu: this is hubby's favorite. We really enjoyed it and will definitely get it again! I'm not going to list everything we got, but I did put the ones that are my favs. Everything we ordered was amazing. What helps too is that the ladies that work here are all so friendly! As I was serving the soup, I noticed something unusual. When I picked it out and placed it on the counter, it was clearly a yellow worm. Completely shocked, I contacted Uber Eats customer service. They only offered a refund for the soup, not the chow fun, because the issue wasn't visible in that item. But honestly, how am I supposed to feel comfortable eating anything else from the same order after finding a worm in one dish? I then called the restaurant to report what happened, and instead of addressing the seriousness of the issue, the manager asked what we wanted them to do and even offered free food. That response was disappointing and didn't feel appropriate given the situation. It's unfortunate because we've ordered from here before and the food was good, but after this experience, we couldn't bring ourselves to eat the rest of the meal. It was a wonderful appetizer. The classic spicy pepper and sour vinegar were balanced. The bits of crunchy mushroom and soft tofu added interest and texture to the thick broth. This was comfort in a bowl. The entree was delicious. The fried fish was hot off the wok when it arrived, steaming on the plate along with fried rice, broccoli, an egg roll, and some sweet and sour sauce. I enjoyed the fish; the heat of the jalapeno slices and the salt elevated the light crispiness and mild sweetness of the fish. The fried rice was light and fluffy with bits of egg. I'll stop beating around the bush. A bite into 88 bao bao's chocolate xiao long bao, it was Lindt. I don't know if I'll ever pay 9 bucks for something that is so simply made. Additionally, I'm sure they way overcooked it, cause the chocolate has the same consistency as water. A bite causes a whole splash. Service was very attentive. Mid meal, a woman, which we assume is the owner/boss, came to see how everything was. She was very bubbly and outgoing!

We decided to give Yi Ji Chang Fen a go tonight. My group was feeling varying degrees of hunger, so…read morethis was a good place to share some small plates. I've heard of Yi Ji Chang Fen but only tried it today. I've eaten so much dim sum in my lifetime, so my standard for dim sum may be higher. We came around 5PM on a Saturday and there wasn't anyone really there. It could be because dim sum feels more like a morning or lunch thing, or it could just be because we were there for a very early dinner. Between our party, we shared: - Marinated Chicken and Mushroom Rice Roll - Stuffed Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf - Steamed Chicken Feet w/ Black Bean Sauce - Black Gold Egg Custard Buns - Chicken Feet with Herbs - Dry Style Beef Chow Fun And one Honey Lemon Tea for me. The honey lemon tea was a comfort for the cold day. Maybe a bit too much honey, but still good for the throat during the dry season. The chow fun came first and surprisingly it was not bad. There was a bit of 'wok hey' there and it stands out as one of the better dishes we had. As for the rice roll - I wanted to try something less conventional and I've never seen chicken in rice rolls, so I thought it would be interesting to try. It was quite disappointing though. Their rice roll was bigger than normal in width so with rice rolls being a struggle to pick up already, the bigger size made it an even bigger struggle. Everything just slipped out of the rice roll and it wasn't evenly wrapped. There were some bunched up layers on the edges. I think the chicken just didn't pair that well either and it was lacking in ingredients. Maybe the more conventional rice rolls would be better. For the two types of chicken feet, I normally like the one in herbal soup. If made well, the chicken feet has a nice flavor to it. For Yi Fen's herbal chicken feet, their portion was pretty good, but flavor was less prominent. I enjoyed the chicken feet in black bean sauce more because the flavor was better. Lastly, for the stuffed sticky rice and black gold egg custard buns, I suspect that these are not made in-house, but rather store-bought. The sticky rice lacked ingredients and the rice was a little harder than if made fresh. And the perfectly shaped black buns with a golden brush stroke on top (which I've seen all over the internet) seemed too elevated-looking compared to everything else. I'm not the biggest fan of molten lava buns, but they came out nicely. I didn't have any, but the molten lava custard was pretty runny. All in all, an okay experience. Service was a bit lacking. I don't recommend the dim sum dishes, but if I happen to want congee, I may give this place another go. Apart from the dim sum and rice rolls, the noodles I glimpsed from other customers looked not bad. I wonder if other locations are better.

Service is slow and must be prompted to get any attention which is fine but different from other…read morelocations. The food is better than Berkeley and congee was the right consistency and my kids liked the food. Would be a great location if service is better. Still prefer the San Lorenzo store but wouldn't hesitate coming back when in the area.
