I came home from a trip and saw my thermostat had no power. It was a Sunday afternoon and Dragon air services got back to me within a few hours and even offered to try to come out that day if it was an emergency. I told them I could wait until the next day. They were great about communicating when they would come and arrived on time. Aleks came and was diligent about troubleshooting the issue and identifying the root of the problem. I wanted to see what was causing the issue and he was really cool about explaining things to me. Aleks seemed like a good guy that takes pride in his work and cares about workmanship. The best way to illustrate that is when he was putting my thermostat back on he even sealed the wiring hole with caulk to prevent draft and made sure it was put on straight when it was previously slightly crooked. read more

Our furnace was condemned by another HVAC company after our fall checkup due to holes in the heat exchanger. That same company had someone come out a week later for a quote on a system replacement because the one we had was 19 years old and repair was a waste of money. I entered my information on Dragon Air's website on a Saturday afternoon not expecting to hear from anyone until Monday. Surprisingly, I got a call from Braden about 10 minutes after the submission. Once again, I assumed that he was just calling to set up an appointment for Monday, but he asked if I was free later that afternoon. A few hours later Braden showed up as promised, masked and with booties on his shoes. He looked around at the whole house, in the attic and of course outside at the condenser. If he found a door closed, he asked permission to enter before just doing so. I am a details guy and it wouldn't have bothered me for him to go in, but the fact that he did says a lot about him and the company he works for. Post assessment, he explained to us what we had outside, in the attic including both the unit and all of our duct work. You hear the horror stories about the efforts made to upsell but he never did. Braden said that we only needed to add an additional return for the house, but the duct work was sufficient. He actually found a duct that was disconnected in our bathroom and reconnected the best he could, while everyone else missed it. He let us know that he would be sending us a quote later in the day once he got home to work on it which of course he did in about 3 or 4 hours. Before and after he left, he answered every question we had and some that we didn't have. He also encouraged us to get as many quotes we could so we had a full picture of our options. Never did he give us the hard sell. Dragon's quote was comparable or better given the brands of equipment and reviews of the others we were shown so we went with them and we could not have made a better choice. The level of service from quote, to install, and visits after were the best I have had for any large purchase I've had to make. As a testament to how great this company is, we started having yellowjackets in our house a few days after the install. Given the timing, we assumed one had something to do with the other. Braden came out to check everything. He checked outside and in the attic where he added more mastic to the new return. After the yellowjackets showed up a third and fourth time, the owner, Dragan, came to look. He looked at everything as well, then noticed that the flue in our fireplace was open. He closed it and we've had no more yellow jackets. Instead of it being a point of frustration for him, he took it as a learning moment that he would take into every job after. Never seen an owner and employees so passionate about learning and improving their craft for the betterment of the customer experience. Cannot recommend this company enough!!! read more

We entrusted Dragon Air Services to remove and replace our entire ductwork system as well as two units. It was a big job, but Dragan and Alex worked with their team to complete the work in two days. Our thermostat of course died on the hottest day we've had yet this year. I ordered a replacement, along with a new one for our upstairs. I contacted Dragon Air and they were amazing enough to squeeze me in on the day my new thermostats were set to arrive! Earlier this spring we began having problems heating our home with our 24 year old heating/air conditioning unit. I called Dragon Air Service and received, by far, the best quote for a 2.5 Ton/ 14 Seer American Standard unit. After summer, we decided to replace the unit. I called Dragan around 2pm on a Wednesday, had a quick conversation with Dragan. By 9:30 the next morning, Dragan and his crew were at the house ready to install the new unit. Being a do-it-yourselfer, I like to watch the process of pulling out the old and installing the new unit. Dragan and I had some good conversations and he was really good at walking me through the technical details of the install. I also appreciate that he took extra effort to see that little details were done that'll make a difference in how the unit operates. This is the second, of our two units, we've had to have replaced. This is a big help for me since I'm on a budget. Wow. A great wow, which is a first for me as far as HVAC companies go. I have an old unit and used my home warranty company's contractors six (SIX!) times in the past year with nothing to show to show for it but massive Freon refill bills. I called Dragon Air up on the recommendation of a friend and was floored. Dragan showed up the following morning, I described the symptoms I had seen, and through some dark magic unknown to my home warranty (knowledge? experience?) knew where the problem was before setting foot in my home. Sure enough, my coil was shot and had been for a very long time. The other contractors had also botched the plenum (sp?) install and their previous condenser repair. They never looked at or mentioned the coil. Dragan very patiently explained to me how I had been taken before, and how to prevent it from happening again. One step he didn't mention, is that I'll be dropping my home warranty when I replace my AC (through Dragon Air) and put my premiums toward a "call Dragon and get it fixed right the first time fund". While I consider myself a decent handyman for most things, Dragan's visit and honesty was a wake-up call. I'm kicking myself (and my friend) for not knowing about this company $2k earlier. read more

I called multiple companies, but after a discussion with Braden on the phone I had a good feeling about this team.
