Came home to a warm house on a 105 degree day. Got in touch with Mitchell who over the phone was able to give me a ball park estimate based on what I was experiencing. He gave me an ETA and showed up on time, mind you this was after hours when many other businesses were no longer answering. He was honest, transparent, and the pricing was fair. I can honestly say now that "I gotta guy." Thanks Mitchell! read more

I seriously cannot recommend this company enough!! We were dealing with AC issues and it was turning into a stressful situation fast .... especially here in Texas. I called, and within an hour, Mitch showed up and completely saved the day. Not only was he super friendly and easy to talk to, but he clearly knew exactly what he was doing. You can tell right away when someone is experienced, and Mitch absolutely is. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything in a way that actually made sense, and had our AC up and running in no time. What really stood out: * Incredibly fast response time * Very knowledgeable and professional * Great personality -- funny, kind, and made the whole experience way less stressful * Got it FIXED right away -- no dragging it out After dealing with the frustration of a broken unit, having someone show up who is this efficient and reliable is everything. If you're debating who to call -- THIS is your sign. Ask for Mitch. You won't regret it. read more

I don't normally write reviews however I feel compelled to write this review because I too chose this company because of the awesome reviews. Either most of these people had a different technician where they don't know that they were duped into purchasing a unit they didn't need. I called for service on my rental and they sent me a gentleman named. Jayse Moore. He was prompt and very kind and told me that I was low on refrigerant, which I had already filled a month prior so possibly there was a leak, so he gave me an estimate to put some stop leak in the system, fill up the refrigerant and he said my coils were dirty and they needed to be cleaned. I attach the estimate to this review, needless to their cost is more than double than most places.Actually, I told the owner Mitchell that I wanted the stop leak and fill up the refrigerant and that I was hoping they could work with the cost with me on that because I could not afford the coil cleaning and the refrigerant was very expensive. he did the coils anyway charge me the full $1100. Mitchell tried to work with me on the cost and we agreed to half of the cost because they made the mistake and went ahead and did the coils without my approval. So I got the coil cleaning for about $550..Then two weeks later my system quit working again, I called him back out, looked at the system again and told me" I'm sorry to tell you this, but you need a brand new system. 12K...He told me that my condenser was grounded! "WTH ! I was skeptical at this point so I waited another day till this other company can give me a second opinion. All I needed was A new contactor and fuse . Attached are the pictures of the coil cleaning that Burket brothers did! My renters told me he was there for 20 minutes and sprayed some stuff into the coils and left Anyway, I decided to go with this new company $900 later my unit was running great and my coils were very clean. .I sent an email to Mitchell myself to explain my dissatisfaction with the service I was provided and I got crickets. That is why I'm writing this review. I did not receive one email in regards to remedy the situation. Have not had problems with the unit for the past two months. I am considering going to the licensing board and Better Business Bureau. read more

They sabotaged your ac system and then comeback and fix it. STAY AWAY. They put a screw in my damper so it would not open. I had a service contract with them. They are the only ones who touched my ac. They came for the service just this week and I asked them to check the damper. They said nothing was wrong. But there was a screw preventing it from working. So at the least they didn't check or worse they wanted another service call where they would have said it was broken. I am also repoing to the licensing board read more

GREAT! Our entire experience was simply great. Our main ac unit sprung a coil leak and within 2 hours of a very early am call, Mitch (the owner) was there to help. He gave us options on repair/replace, it's a 10 yr. old ac, but absolutely no pressure. His bid was substantially lower than two other companies we called. We chose replacement. Everyone showed up as promised, that same afternoon, and the two installers were amazing. This installation is a thing of beauty. As the install was progressing Mitch kept dropping by to make sure all was good. The next day they even sent Daniel by to double check pressures and vent temps. By far my best experience in recent memory with any company. Call them first if you need ac work, they were great. Thanks guys. Mike Wade read more

I needed a water heater replaced. Burkett Bros. Gave me a great deal on a quote for my water heater replacement. Mitchell had time available within a day or so. It's frustrating to have a water leak and know that it's not getting any better until it's fixed so time is a factor. The install was done on time and better than I expected. I felt I could trust Burkett Bros and I'm sure you can feel that same way. read more

I scheduled an appointment with Burkett Bros Heating and Air Conditioning and was originally told they would arrive on Friday. They later texted that rain had delayed them and asked to reschedule. I worked with them to find a new time and was given a confirmed appointment window of 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM the following day. The problem is that nobody showed up during the scheduled window, and I received no call, text, or update explaining the delay. After rearranging my schedule and making myself available, I was left waiting and wondering where they were. Delays happen, especially with weather, and I was willing to be flexible. What is unacceptable is confirming an appointment and then failing to show up or communicate with the customer. If you value reliability, communication, and respect for your time, this was not my experience with this company. Update: After they missed the confirmed appointment window, I had to reach out myself asking where they were. No customer should have to chase down a contractor after receiving a confirmed appointment time. read more

We just had our air conditioning system handled by this company and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. From the very first call, they were professional, responsive, and actually showed up when they said they would (which already puts them ahead of half the industry). The team was knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense -- no pressure, no upselling, just clear options and solid recommendations. They treated our home with care, worked efficiently, and left everything clean when they were done. Living in Texas, AC isn't a luxury -- it's survival. And knowing we can rely on a company like this gives us real peace of mind. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality work, integrity, and a team that genuinely cares about doing the job right. read more

Honest and fair. Got fast service on a very hot day. Non-working AC unit was quickly diagnosed and repaired. 2nd unit was diagnosed as "replacement needed", which I suspected. Mitch and his team have been fantastic. They will give you several options and don't push you in either direction.

Mitchell and team were prompt, friendly, hardworking, and produced quality work. We had an issue with our furnace and they were quick to diagnose. We wound up needing a new system. Pricing was fair and install was quick. The team had to change the position of the equipment and moved an intake and replaced/redesigned some ductwork. It is now much easier to access the filter and there is a lot more room around the unit. We are very pleased with the experience with Burkett Bros and will use them again. read more

listen... if your AC is wheezing louder than your grandma's old recliner, call Mitchell and the Burkett Bros immediately.
