The only customers for dinner are hotel guests too tired to go out to dinner. I was in the same boat. I was even too tired to make a Grub Hub decision. Wish I elected to make a decision. First off, the glass of wine was the smallest I have ever seen. Why would they be so tight given the low cost of Canyon Ridge. The hamburger buns was frozen. I just ate the beef patty. The server blamed the temperature on the pickles. They were not frozen. Staying the week at the Holiday Inn but won't spend anymore money on Draft.

You can find Draft in the ground-floor of the Holiday Inn at 30 Washington St, Somerville MA 02143 at the Eastern edge of Bunker Hill. I stayed in this Holiday Inn for several days with a coworker while visiting my firm's Boston office. I normally would not have spent much if any time in the hotel bar but it doubles as the breakfast location in the mornings and interestingly, was recommended to us by the server at Tavern at the End of the World as a covert local, quiet watering hole. The room is on the ground floor to the right of the lobby and is also used for breakfast in the mornings in an adjoining space. The breakfast buffet is nothing to write home about - more like the "freebie" breakfast you get at Holiday Inn Express (it's it odd how the more expensive the hotel, the more you have to pay for stuff that's free at the lower end?). I'm not sure if it's worth the $10 you pay if you order it with your room, but it's certainly a better value than the $13 you pay if you don't. At night it transforms into a a cozy small full bar serving a decent selection of booze, beer and tavern food. There are multiple screens behind the bar so you can keep up with your favorite teams, or on the night we visited the Republican debate. This night I stayed with the very excellent Harpoon Take 5 IPA while my friend Sid had some low-end Scotch (my advice, stay away from brand you aren't familiar with). I only managed to visit during one evening while in Boston but liked the feel of the place quite a bit. Service was exemplary and when we had an issue with the Scotch the manager came out, was very apologetic and took care of the problem for us. Kudos to the staff at this Holiday Inn and in particular Draft. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

The steak frites were genuinely the best restaurant food I've ever had, and our server, Rob, really had it down! He's friendly, he's funny, and we got in and out in 45 minutes.

I ordered a draft beer from a large selection of drafts and bottle, cans options. It was Jack Abbey beer... pint came 3/4 full as left a large head on beer and better for establishment pours 12-14 oz in a 16 oz glass.. Beer was warm... bad demerit again Ordered steak tips which came with three large tips on a bed of mashed potatoes, spinach . It had some sour hot nasty pepper garnish.. I wanted roasted red or green peppers with the tips instead. Steak tips were just ok and needed a marinate or side of a dipping bbq sauce or mushroom sauce or anything. Spinach, mashed potatoes needed more butter or garlic flavoring... fresh tasting but bland. Needs more steak tips too for the price tag. It was a nice bar vibe for drinks. The chicken wing lollipops I saw for an appetizer looked tasty. I left hungry for more steak tips and wanted a charcoal char on my tips . I wanted my spinach on the side with a garlic oil next to sone grilled oil drizzled roasted peppers . I don't consider these some of Boston best but certainly not the worst .

Cool 'garage doors' that open up in the nice weather. A lot of places in Boston have these.

Brewery 411 I am…read moretorn on writing this one. Tree House is ranked by many as the #1 brewery in America. This is not the real Tree House Brewery. This is a tap room put in a mall. It's still Tree House's beer but it's kind of bastardized. Imagine putting a Michelin star restaurant in a food court next to a Chic Fil A. It loses some of its luster. I went up to the makeshift portable bar and they had I am guessing 8-10 beers on tap. No flights. So, I ordered the girlfriend and I each a beer which were poured into plastic to-go cups. She got a Julius and I got an Ultimate Haze, both excellent. The atmosphere is just open mall area and then an outdoor atrium, both kind of blah. There was a kiosk to buy gear and a cooler around the corner to buy canned beer to go. Next time I will rent a car and go to one of the real brewery locations but for now I will be thankful that I could basically get a Julius hazy IPA next to an Orange Julius. Ha!

A good but limited option to sample some classics and some new beers in the mix. Bartenders are knowledgeable and they were glad I came. Their pickled vegetables were perfectly done and plentiful, and it was surely enough food to go around. Ambience is rather loud, it looks like a pub. I took my parents here and we still had a great time. Note: not a lot of parking. They do have outdoor space though! Service is very good. Food was incredible, the blue cheese pizza had a RIDICULOUS amount of blue cheese on it. My mom thought it was too strong, I reheated it at home with an extra slice of bread. The muffin was fantastic and th burger was great too. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Cozy little spot with a pizza oven and an open kitchen (elite combo). Plenty of seating. I went for a weekday dinner and was served instantly. Started with the oyster bombs ($17 for 3) because oyster + tuna is a power couple. Fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned with mayo and chives...gone in 30 seconds. My server convinced me to get the spicy clam, and it was devoured so fast. It was gone before he filled my water! Packed with clam meat, drowning in tomato sauce, and it actually had heat --not that "we waved a chili at it" kind of spicy. I fully intended to have some for the next day and then aggressively did not. Final verdict: cozy vibes, bold flavors, zero self-control, and I will absolutely be back.

On the particular day we visited, they were understaffed and were only offering bar service which was fine with us. We got a few of their beers which were all excellent. I ordered my usual flight, but they were out of stickers :( They had some unique beers amongst them one called Belgian Waffles which is a blonde ale with maple syrup and cinnamon. This was dessert or breakfast, depending on your perspective, in a glass. I also got a hazy IPA, a peanut butter stout, and a hefe. All were really good. For lunch I got some honey jerk wings. These were cooked to perfection. Crisp skin and juicy meat. The problem was the flavor. They had the honey but no jerk. There was no spice at all. They were still good, but they could have been great. Anyway, give me stickers and spice and I will give you that 5th star.
