Unfortunately, my experience with Desert Financial above the branch level was completely different. Everyone I dealt with beyond the branch treated me in a dismissive and condescending way, as though I was not capable of making my own financial decisions. I was attempting to complete a documented business transaction, but Desert Financial created a narrative that I might be the victim of a romance scam and used that as the basis to interfere with the transaction. That explanation was inaccurate, insulting, and deeply frustrating. The transaction involved a real business, formal documentation, and available verification, but instead of handling it through a serious diligence process, Desert Financial treated me like a child. To be clear, this review is not a criticism of Sarai. She was excellent. If the rest of Desert Financial had handled the situation with the professionalism and respect she showed, I would have been happy to remain a customer. Unfortunately, the conduct above the branch level made that impossible.

I applied and it asked if I wanted a personal or signature loan, I think that is what my options were. The closer I got to the end, it asked if I wanted a new line or to increase my current. My current one had been serving me well, so increase was my choice. It took about a week from application to signage. I was late for my appointment, but they still got me in and out quickly. They let me know the money would hit my account in the evening- and it did. I wanted to increase it because it is a good account to fall back on when I am in need of funds and it connects to my bank account to protect me from overdraft fees. I stick with Desert Financial cause they have been good to me all these years. There are not many physical locations as compared to regular banks, but they have convenient locations.

He did a good job of answering our questions, and we were able to get a reduction in the down payment and a $500 price reduction for being a returning customer. However, when the time came to sign the final paperwork, Adrian had to work with another customer, so he sent Bob to complete the paperwork with us. Bob, however, was very pushy and unwilling to answer our questions, sometimes presenting papers to us saying they were about something in particular, when they really were about a couple of other things as well. He seemed annoyed when my wife wanted to check things over in the paperwork to make sure that we knew what we were signing and could agree to it. At first he didn't want to tell us about the hidden GPS system that is put in all their cars in case you are delinquent on your payments. He also implied that people who come in to have things checked out in the first fifteen days could get charged a diagnostic fee and a labor fee if it turned out the mechanics didn't find a problem, saying that some people bring their cars in to be checked out for what he considered to be trivial reasons. So the final paperwork process was by far the worst part of our car-buying experience. Shortly after we bought the car, an issue did come up, and we brought it in to service, and everything went fine. So, once again, we have what seems so far like a good car, and while the car-buying experience there was mostly a good one, I must say that the final paperwork process with Bob was not satisfactory.

My credit got ruined due to a bad marriage…read moreand I have been trying to get it cleared up but in the meantime time my Jeep that I had purchased 3 yrs ago was hit by a hit and run. The insurance paid it off but no cash to me. I had to sell my 5th wheel to have a down payment. I explained all this to the very nice Salesman at Auto Now in Glendale AZ. I explained I had to have a good reliable vehicle. He was AWESOME UNTIL he got my money then he was rude, lied about things (I know that NOW) and rushed to get me out the door. On the way home on the highway the front end shook so bad I could barely hold onto the steering wheel. Oh I need to mention I was only allowed to test drive around the block!!! The windows were up when I test drove it so I didn't hear the brakes SQUEEL every time you came to a stop OR the HORRENDOUS rattle from underneath when you went over a bump! There was a clunking in the rear end when you stopped or started which the Salesman told me it was nothing and " just something all Dodge Ram trucks do"... LIES! I left numerous messages for service with NO ONE calling me back! The ONLY time someone from this HORRIBLE business DID call me back was if it had to do with MONEY to THEM! I was lied to about what insurance I was required to carry ($500 deductible on both comp and collision not $1000 as the Salesman said).. lied to about the "extended warranty" and what it actually covers which is basically nothing short of the engine falling out or the reared falling off... lied to about the plate cost... being notified in ADVANCE so I could budget for it and that it could be split up into 2 payments.. LIES! There's more but this is long enough.. in the end I have MAJOR repairs that need to be done and NO money to do it and EVERYONE has been not only rude but uncompassionate.. treating me like I was dirt because I have bad credit which isn't even REAL bad anymore... I should have went to a reputable dealership and tried to work something out... now I owe $31K for a truck that's not worth $5k.. just makes me SICK! DONT GO TO THIS COMPANY!
