We were repeat customers, having bought a car at Cactus Jack's five years earlier which worked out well for us. This time, we worked with Adrian on purchasing our car. He did a good job of answering our questions, and we were able to get a reduction in the down payment and a $500 price reduction for being a returning customer. However, when the time came to sign the final paperwork, Adrian had to work with another customer, so he sent Bob to complete the paperwork with us. Bob, however, was very pushy and unwilling to answer our questions, sometimes presenting papers to us saying they were about something in particular, when they really were about a couple of other things as well. He seemed annoyed when my wife wanted to check things over in the paperwork to make sure that we knew what we were signing and could agree to it. At first he didn't want to tell us about the hidden GPS system that is put in all their cars in case you are delinquent on your payments. He also implied that people who come in to have things checked out in the first fifteen days could get charged a diagnostic fee and a labor fee if it turned out the mechanics didn't find a problem, saying that some people bring their cars in to be checked out for what he considered to be trivial reasons. So the final paperwork process was by far the worst part of our car-buying experience. Shortly after we bought the car, an issue did come up, and we brought it in to service, and everything went fine. So, once again, we have what seems so far like a good car, and while the car-buying experience there was mostly a good one, I must say that the final paperwork process with Bob was not satisfactory. read more

They claim all vehicles are inspected and safe for the road but turns out, they only inspect just enough to get it off the lot. I purchased a 2016 jeep Cherokee from a Cactus Jacks in Tucson, AZ. Within a week of having the vehicle the driver side window stopped working and would not go up. They wouldn't service me for another month. I couldn't make it that day for the service and they wanted to schedule me for months out again. After 1 month the battery died and neither of the warranty's I'm paying for covered the battery. Just yesterday the car broke down and completely stopped working and not turning on. When I put the key fob in the ignition it just triggers the panic alarm. The car is left in the parking lot of a Safeway. 4 months into buying this car and it breaks down every month from something and my window is still not fixed. They asked for a big down payment, the monthly payment is over $700/month, I've had to pay for several emergency services costing hundreds of dollars already, now they want me to pay for the car to get towed to a shop, and I'm sure expecting me to pay the costs to get it fixed. Do not buy from Cactus Jacks. We put a down payment of $700 on a 2011 Mazda 6. The cars worth $8,000 in really great condition, first of all. They sold this one to us for $11,000. Biweekly payments of $230 ($460 a month) for three years. The car had some cosmetic damage on the interior and exterior, which fine, it's used. The tires were a little worn, again it's used, whatever. It looked like they wiped the car down with a wet rag, so it's streaky. I asked all these questions about the cars history, safety, etc. I was told they checked the car fax and the car checks out. I stupidly trusted them, and I bought a car fax too late. The car was auctioned 8 times, 9 liens on the car, it was a rental/fleet vehicle, it was also in an accident, and has 4 open recalls on it. I am not going to continue to make payments on a car that is damaged, has a very shitty history, and is a literal death trap with the recalls. And lord knows what the accident actually was. I drive my children around in this car and my husband commutes. This car, purchased in 2019, was surrendered in 2019 after writing this review. The car ended up being on my credit, where it still is after multiple disputes, and has been tanking it since. You'll get scammed, even long term, coming here. read more

My major complaint is despite calling back to check I was told my registration was taken care of but what they don't tell you is you still have to pay for your plates.
