I get a call from the Finance department at this joke of a business saying I have an auto loan here. I have no auto loan with this company, I own my car outright, and the girl Esmerelda answers the phone laughing and joking extremely unprofessionally, and says "Finance department..." doesn't say what company, or anything I have to prod and find out what company it is, and she asks for the last 4 of my social security number. I don't know if this company doesn't have good data or information who their customers are or what, but to call someone after working hours at 5:30 pm and disturb them is completely wrong. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENGERY, or MONEY at this place. The process is so easy. You come in, complete a small application and give them 8 references. I picked out a car and was done within 1 hour. The very next day less then 24 hours the car began to overheat! I immediately take the car back and they tell me oh leave the car here and we will look at it in the morning. Nobody cares, no one tried to help. I was pushed to the side and completely brushed off like I did something to the car and I didn't even have the car for 24 hours. We were repeat customers, having bought a car at Cactus Jack's five years earlier which worked out well for us. This time, we worked with Adrian on purchasing our car. He did a good job of answering our questions, and we were able to get a reduction in the down payment and a $500 price reduction for being a returning customer. However, when the time came to sign the final paperwork, Adrian had to work with another customer, so he sent Bob to complete the paperwork with us. Bob, however, was very pushy and unwilling to answer our questions, sometimes presenting papers to us saying they were about something in particular, when they really were about a couple of other things as well. He seemed annoyed when my wife wanted to check things over in the paperwork to make sure that we knew what we were signing and could agree to it. At first he didn't want to tell us about the hidden GPS system that is put in all their cars in case you are delinquent on your payments. He also implied that people who come in to have things checked out in the first fifteen days could get charged a diagnostic fee and a labor fee if it turned out the mechanics didn't find a problem, saying that some people bring their cars in to be checked out for what he considered to be trivial reasons. So the final paperwork process was by far the worst part of our car-buying experience. Shortly after we bought the car, an issue did come up, and we brought it in to service, and everything went fine. So, once again, we have what seems so far like a good car, and while the car-buying experience there was mostly a good one, I must say that the final paperwork process with Bob was not satisfactory. read more

3/8/22 4:07 - 4:24 pm edit at 4:48 pm - Since they refuse to tell me the sales rep name, and after looking at other reviews (only seeing one female sales rep) I believe it was Julia Gilbert. The sales rep/operator -older female with a southern accent was extremely rude and inappropriate in her comments when I asked about my garnishment paperwork. She hung up when I asked what her name was and ended the call multiple times and even said "she should just pay it, I don't get it". Before answering the phone saying she will not give me her manager or tell me her name. The manager was not pleasant either. His name was William Rose. I have these calls recorded, and would love to show the higher ups how this location treats people. Pretext: I got a car from this location in 2019 but had repeated issues with it so I turned it in after only less than a year (in 2020) for issues they refused to fix (have all my receipts for these issues). Well, they said that they would sell the car at auction and if the car sold for more than I owed I wouldn't heae from then, but if I owed after sale, I just pay the difference. I never heard anything back for months assuming the car sold for more. *I also was not sent the receipt of the car being sold at auction until I requested the paperwork 2/13/22* They sent the paperwork to an old address so I didn't receive the notice. I didn't fight it because I was bummed I forgot to check the status on the car. Forward to 2022. I received the paperwork through email and see that I paid my balance due. However, my payroll department sends me a notice that Cactus Jack Auto Inc is still collecting "debt" from me and took out an additional $209.24 from my paychecks. It was at this point that I called Cactus Jack (and my payroll dept.) to get some answers about where this $209.24 went. That is when the above statement happened. The manager called me back at my personal number so I now know they have my number. The manager, William Rose refused to give me the woman's name because "I was not a customer". Bought a car from here today it was a very pleasant experience. I think I started off communicating with a owner on fb. He was very prop and informative. He put me in touch with the store Manager Izzy. Once I got there I told him home much I wanted to spend and what I had for a down payment. He showed me what would work for me, no haggling. He also showed me how to read the writing in the back window. So I was able to walk the lot by myself. Once I made a decision the paperwork was done in about 20mins. I have purchased 3 vehicles from cactus jack's. I have had the same salesman twice. However, I find the so called csr to be some of the rudest undocumented women I have ever had to deal with. I make my car payment over the phone every 2 weeks. I make a payment of 225.00 every 2 weeks. After the pandemic I would call to make a payment and the first time I was told $235.00, when I questioned this I was told because it wasn't being automatic taken there is a $10.00 fee. However, the next time I was told only $225.00 I began again being told that I was paying 225. it's back and forth and when I question why the change they want to pretend they have a PRESTIGOUS position and forgetting that we are the reason they get a paycheck and most likely the reason they are here for the American dream read more

On Friday, September 18, 2015 I contacted Cactusjack's via the interactive chat on their website. I wanted to know the "out-the-door" CASH price for a couple of vehicles that I was interested in. I had the stock number and description of the vehicles. After spending several minutes with the fellow that I was chatting with, as he attempted to get a lot of personal information and avoided answering my questions, he said that he would forward my inquiry to the Internet Fleet manager. Since it was apparent that I would not get any satisfaction from the chat idiot, I said ok. I never received a reply from the "Internet Fleet Manager", that answered my inquiry, but did get three emails expressing their gratitude for my interest in the vehicles and indicating that I was pre-approved for a vehicle loan through their company (even though I had never given them any information other than my email address and a phony last name). I replied that I wanted to pay CASH for a vehicle and would not be financing through them. I have a FICA score well over 800 and, if needing a vehicle loan, would NOT go through a cut-throat, predatory loan process. To date, I've not received any answer to my inquiry. It's apparent that their customer service is lacking and if this is the way that they treat an interested buyer, I'm pretty sure that it would be worse after they have a person hooked and have made a sale. Gave them every dime I had to buy a new vehicle. A day later the ac goes out. The next day the engine light starts flashing while I'm driving it and I end up stuck in Yuma. Called the dealership and they just say to bring it in on Monday and they'll credit me for whatever I had to repair. Complete and utter disappointment when I buy a vehicle I expect it to run for a while before needing to have a mechanic work on it. Don't do it if you can possibly avoid it. Their mechanics do not handle repairs appropriately. Over the period of a year they replaced the catalytic converter 3 times and at one point had literally 2 on there at the same time "bypassing" the issue. Was told after several complaints that they would send it out to get fixed right because wherever they were sending it wasn't doing a good job. REALLY?? A segment of the pipe was fixed, it lasted 3 days and my vehicle was paid off and now doesn't run at all. Had I known I would wind up with a vehicle that wouldn't run I would have just taken it somewhere else to begin with and saved myself the initial charge, rental cars etc. It will now cost me $2500 to completely replace all the duct tape type BS that was done to save them money on the repair. The entire exhaust needs replaced so I cant even pass emissions. It really is a shame the manager is a nice guy but I wouldn't trust them with anything of any value. My son who has medical issues and needed the vehicle to get to appts. As a single parent I can not afford what needs to be done. At this point its over all costing us far far more. DONT DO IT!!!!! After I clarified that I don't have a firm move date, and that I'm presently living out of state, my emails were no longer returned. When I worked as an automotive professional in a dealership setting, it was customary to wrap up an interaction with a customer or a potential customer by offering to be of help under different circumstances, wishing them well, Etc. It's called common courtesy and it cost $0. Ok so I've been waiting to write this review after i had paid off the car completely, First off, NEVER COME HERE. I like to get kissed before i get ****** idk about you guys. These people take advantage of people with no credit/bad credit. Thats their business. What they do is charge you 8k for a car that you can get on auto trader for 2k and charge about a 1k doc fee off the bat with 28 percent interest. This is what happened to me. I ended up paying about 12,000 dollars in a little over 2 years for a 2 thousand dollar car. I paid 185 every 2 weeks. My plan was to get the car and build my credit. They didnt start reporting payments to the credit bureau for about a little under 2 years. Also, they reported that i was paying 60 dollars less a month as what my payment actually was. They reported my payments for a about 2 months and nothing else is shown on my credit. So when i went in to trade the car and get one from a NORMAL dealership they informed me of all this and that because of this the lender for the new car im going to finance arent going to be able to see that i had on time payments throughout the whole loan!!! I know it sounds like a good idea if your desperate and have no options. But honestly taking the bus to work for a couple months to make a big down payment on a car from a NORMAL dealership will be the best thing you will ever do. A big down payment will most likely get you approved from lenders showing that you are serious. Because if you make a 3k down payment on a 10k car and you ended up not making payments and its repossessed well they already have 3 thousand dollars. They will take that and go and resell the car and STILL MAKE MONEY OFF OF YOU. So if you know you can make the payments but your credit isnt so nice or you have none do this!!! I was dumb and fell for the easy way to get a car and I want to warn you guys that it is a BIG mistake!!!! The car had a whole bunch of problems as well right in the beginning. I probably put well over 3k into the car through out the loan. So ive spent about 15k on a 2k car. Is that something you might be interested in? Seriously they need to make a support group from all of the people that have been screwed over by them to comfort all of us mentally wounded people who basically signed up to get robbed. Here's really how it works. You buy a car there that you could get cash for 2 grand. You'll pay interest in the high 20% range. The car will almost certainly break down because the "inspection" is clearly conducted by a monkey with a hammer. if you're a day late, which is likely to happen because unless you want to pay extra to make your payment online, you HAVE to go in, they'll call and leave rude messages. You'll deal with a pack of incompetent, rude, hateful individuals, and eventually realize that you've been screwed. Unless you want to buy a shit car for three times book and then pay high interest, don't even think about going here. Just google them, not a single positive review anywhere. The average 2 year contract is about 9 grand, none of the shitboxes on their lot book for much over 2. It's cheaper to just get the bus and save up for a car that isn't a 100k+ lemon. read more

Rude employees! I am here to have my vehicle I just bought three days ago serviced due to transmission problems ALREADY. I wait in line at the cashier window because nobody is at the service window. A man appears at the service window, so I immediately walk up to him. He is keying in something on the computer and looking at paperwork simultaneously, without even glancing up at me to acknowledge a customer is there. He continues to do this for a good 5 minutes. I'm politley waiting for him to acknowledge me and he never does. So, I get back into the line for the cashier window. When it is my turn, I address the woman, mentioning I'm here for service of my vehicle and the man at the window can't seem to acknowledge me. She states, "He doesn't work for services and the man who does will be back in a few minutes." So, I respond with, "Ok. For customer service purposes, he should acknowledge a customer standing in front of him, saying he cannot help me, but someone will be here soon." She tells me he isn't services so he can't help me. I reiterate my point towards customer service and she repeats her response, in a rude tone, with no concern for my feedback. read more
