The customer service was good. Very friendly folks. The food though, oh Lord. We got the burrito - they only have one. Zucchini, onion rings, side of fries and chili cheese fries. We threw all of it away after just two bites. The cheese on the fries tasted like how your blood tastes when you get a paper cut. The burrito was made of shredded beef, beans and I honestly don't know what else, but it had a taste of old - like at least a week. Onion rings were soggy. The zucchini too. The food here is affordable for a quick snack the drive thru has a huge line a little over rated the chili cheese fries are different they tend to use Kraft cheese on everything instead of shredded my family members are fatties and didn't like it they even tossed food away. On the other hand my son did so I only buy him a burger special and that's it under $10. The employees don't talk much only a young man is very polite. Small Diner located on Telegraph Rd. and Gunn. It is easy to find and has a spacious parking lot. Customer service is great! The cooks and all other workers always greet you with a smile. They offer a variety of food on their menu. Their food is always cooked well. I have never had any complaints with any of it. I highly recommend their chili cheese fries and Douglas burgers. It's hard to fathom how they keep their price so, so low in a time when all prices are SO OUTRAGEOUSLY inflated. What a sweet find for a quick road breakfast - Try it, you'll like it and it won't break your bank. (PS - I had an egg and ham wrap with a splash of red potatoes and a cup of coffee at a local Whittier Blvd. health food store/deli and it was over $24.00) So refreshing and I have SO much respect for this Douglas Burger owner!!! Small yet so home welcoming diner. My favorite spot when it comes to onion rings too! I tend to come here every so often when craving a simple burger, yet they aren't too simple since it's a pretty large and fulfilling serving. The customer service here is amazing and I love the old man who walks around greeting everyone, I believe his is the owners father. I have been going to THIS Douglas since I was in high school if not earlier, I am in my early 40's now, it is the BEST!!! I have been lazy and ordered Douglas on door dash, BEWARE! Not the same Douglas! This Douglas has the best ground beef tacos ever along with chili cheese fries, pastrami and fried zucchini!!!! And everything else, NOT ON DOOR DASH. The family that runs the place is amazing! My dad and all of my family/friends are repetitive customers, my dad had a stroke last year and has not visited in over 10 months, although we have picked up food for him monthly! I went through the drive through today WITH him after his therapy appointment, multiple family members came to the window to say hi to him and ask how he was doing. I usually get my French toast from Michael's on Slauson and it's amazing but this time I got talked into trying Douglas's French toast and also got my bf a waffle plate. I was HIGHLY disappointed. The French toast were hard on the crust part and had no powdered sugar and not even sure if they had butter. But the waffle was the bigger mistake. The picture looks soooo bomb it has strawberry's and whipped cream on it. The reality is it taste like a frozen waffle which I'm almost sure it is. The strawberries was just a strawberry syrup. At least this one had a small dash of powdered jelly but ZERO whipped cream . I had a bite and it was very stale. The extra star is for their shakes which are always on point and their pastrami burger. So a waffle plate, order of French toast, and a small shake came out to $27. I know food is crazy expensive rn especially fast food but almost $30 for stale ass food is a hell no for me. I'll stick to Michael's next time. read more

We said, and I quote "What's in the breakfast burrito? Just bacon egg and cheese?" Location is off telegram road and right before the planet fitness plaza. It has a drive thru and dine in is available. Came in for lunch and ordered the chili dog, chili fries w/ cheese on both and large soda for only 10$!! Everything is close to if not under 5$ Portion wise they give a good amount of fries and chili for both the fries and hotdog. Soda is refillable you just gotta ask. The interior is like a classic family diner (think dennys) and the workers are really nice, they constantly clean/wipe down the tables so you dont have to worry about much if your worried about the tables being unsanitary. Each table has napkins and a little flower with a glass vase. The place is outstanding and will return for a couple of other things on the menu. They do have breakfast items and breakfast burrito!
