Don's Eatery is one of those hidden gems that's absolutely worth stopping for. My son, Jacob, came with me, and we both left impressed. I ordered the avocado burger, and it was incredible fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries were perfectly crispy, and you could tell the fryer oil had just been changed because they tasted so fresh. Jacob ordered the teriyaki chicken, and it was outstanding. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and so fresh you could tell it hadn't been sitting around. Everything tasted like it was made with care. A special shoutout to Andrew, the owner, for being so kind and welcoming. You can tell he takes pride in serving quality food. I also love that they're open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5, catering to the hardworking men and women in the local industries. Fresh food, generous portions, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! read more

This is the second time I come to this place. Food is awesome. Very very good food Services wonderful staff is friendly place is clean. I would definitely recommend this place. Just if you're planning on taking it to go if you're a driver like myself, I recommend to place the order on the phone so you won't have to wait, about 10 to 15 minutes. I always say I'll go here to eat, but I always end up going somewhere else. Well, not this time. Small parking lot, but this is a no thrills time of restaurant. Everything is cooked to prefer. I got a pastrami burger. I forgot that you have to pay extra for cheese, but my burger had a charbroiled taste, and that pastrami has that salty zing to it, but it's not overly salty. It's a nice size burger. My portion for the chili cheese fries was pretty big. I got a small drink too. Combined some orange Fanta, Sprite, and Pink Lemonade Hi-C. Very refreshing. They like cutting their lettuce into squares. Bun was toasted. Nice and thick cut tomato and raw onions. Fries were well seasoned. Good amount of chili and cheese. We picked up some food from Don's Eatery on the way to the beach and everything was delicious! We ordered ahead of time and got shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice, and chili cheese fries, along with 2 bottled/canned drinks from the fridge. The fried rice was very flavorful. I had the chicken which was marinated very well. They were very generous with the meat as you can tell in my photo! The fried rice comes with a side salad, which they prepared for us in a separate container after finding out we would be eating these at the beach. Very thoughtful of the staff!! I've been wanting to try the chili cheese fries and it did not let me down! You have the option of adding diced onion on top. Yum! Overall, very satisfied with the food and service! read more

First time at Don's. Great selection of drinks (beer, juice, energy drinks etc), chips, and healthy lunch options. Energy drinks and good drinks are honestly a big plus for me. Went with friends so I was able to try the chicken, beef, and pork teriyaki. The chicken was my favorite!! Perfectly balanced between the tender, juicy, and also a crispy layer on the outside. Next time I will try the burger! Nice environment and good prices. The new owner also talked about renovating the interior, so I'm looking forward to coming back! read more

A solid place to grab high quality food. I tried the chicken teriyaki, spicy pork, fried rice, and of course chili cheese fries. Chicken teriyaki was super juicy, not dry at all. Spicy pork was my favorite. That with a bite of rice 10/10. Fried rice had a great variety of protein and the chili cheese fries took me back to childhood. Speaking of their rice, I'm not a huge fan to begin with, but the rice at Don's eatery is fire. The perfect bite is rice with the spicy pork. read more

Not the first, second or third time I've shown up and no one is here. Staff is constantly late, they gladly charge your mobile order ahead of time but when I arrive they haven't even started my order. I wanted to try a lot of the items on their menu but I went with the Chicken & beef Teriyaki. I see why this is their most popular. The beef Teriyaki is packed with flavor and really juicy. Their Chicken Teriyaki is also very savory and tender. Their teriyaki sauce on the rice was really ensured each bite was very tasty. Inside of restaurant is nice clean plus they've got a nice selection of beers and snacks. I've lived down the street from this restaurant all my life and I decided to give it a try finally... and oh man have I been missing out from this little hole in the wall. My friend said it melted on her mouth and the fresh mash potatoes- just right. Did I mention the portions were huge! Lots of goodies to take with us. To add to the dining experience we watched as patrons steadily came and went throughout the evening. You can tell this is a favorite for many. There were High-5s, handshakes and lots of "Welcome back friends!" Just an overall beautifully decked out neighborhood restaurant with so much heart and soul. First off, let me explain something to everyone...this place is run by a Korean couple, and their English is limited. Their way is different from American, so cut them some slacks. The foods were ok. I just had a hamburger combo. The burger patty was char. There were plenty lettuces, but the tomato slice was super thin. The burger ok. The fries were thick and straight cut--ok. Drink is just an orange soda. It is ok, but there is one thing. Since the owners are Korean, their bbq plate should be quite good. The price is ok. I will recommend the teriyaki chicken because I am weary of the quality of their beef. If I am here again, I will try the teriyaki chicken. read more

I heard the place is under new ownership simce I've last tried back in late 2018. wow.. the place had a make over with new ownership and with the new look on interior the food looks more appatizing than ever! I usually try the basic menu just to see if the owner really knows what they're doing... so I gave bacon cheese burger a try and Now this is my favorite burger joint in the area! the owner is very friendly and nice. The food and customer service is TOP NOTCH here! I ordered the combination fried rice. The order comes with a salad too and is a more-than-generous portion of rice as well as different meats and shrimp. It has great flavor! I have heard that the teriyaki is good too. I love this little restaurant. They have a new sign up, upgraded menu, and better quality food. I love seafood so I tried shrimp teriyaki and it was delicious! I went up to get catchup from the dispenser and it was empty on one side and the other side didn't work even after a few pumps. Now the food. The fries were perfection; well seasoned crunchy and tasty. I was very surprised by the burgers. Both burgers were wrapped in paper but looked like when you order a burger in the drive through to take home. So when you get home the burger is going to be soggy. Dang! The burger was soo soggy that it started falling apart. The bun was very flat and wrinkled. The shredded lettuce was still crunchy but very wet like they didn't dry the lettuce. I prefer leaf lettuce for this reason. The burger had flavor but couldn't enjoy it because it was falling apart. I decided to eat the burger inside so it didn't get soggy but 30 seconds after receiving the order and pulling the burger out of the paper bag it was crazy soggy. Flavor wise it was good. Hopefully the owners take note on all these complaints on these reviews and make the corrections. They could have a great spot if they pay close attention to detail in everything specially customer service. I will go back in a while to see if anything improved and if they did improve I will continue to try everything on the menu OTHERWISE, I will not go back.
