As I waited I couldn't help notice all the gorgeous plants, clean interior and super friendly staff. It was a miserably hott day and it didn't seem to bother them. As I glanced over I saw them frying my tostada shell ... ooh fresh? I packed my little salsas and choose green (great choice). When my plate came out it looked beautiful. I stopped by for a quick snack. I really didn't know what I wanted until I had this. I was surprised how delicious it was. I ordered the Friday special, 1 shrimp and 1 fish taco. It was 3:15 PM, but the shrimp and fish were both piping hot when I ate my taco. The chipotle dressing with all the cabbage and Pico is just how I like it. The shrimps were especially juicy and plump, cooked perfectly. I tried it with the red and green salsa. Both were delicious and not too spicy. There was an orange habanero one for people who want more heat. The tortilla chips, onions, and pepper were all included and added at the end when they ask you how much sauce to put on the tacos. This was a very scrumptious surprise, and I'm glad I stopped by. I think I found a new fish taco place! read more

My only feedback would be if they could include a knife in the to go bag, cause it's a little hard to cut with just a fork. However, I will be back again. She began to scoop beans and I told her again, "no beans" as she continued to slab on a bunch of beans inside lol. The beans are actually pretty good though. PRO-TIP: I consider myself to be someone who can eat. Normally when I go to a Mexican place, I'll order a burrito and 2 street style tacos, and that will normally fulfill my hunger. Today, went and saw some changes to the place, I asked the lady did something changed, see said yes new owners, I said is that a good thing or bad? she replied it looks better....after I placed my order it took them a while to get my order done, and many other orders behind me where given out first. the guru finds himself in Santa Fe Springs today looking for grub. I had this place on my list for quite a while so today I finally went in and ordered some tacos. This is a small take out place in a small food court. There is only enough seating because most people order take out, but I would suggest you stick around. More on that later. I also got their "super fries" to try that. They have a "super nachos" and a "super fries". basically just everything you can think of that goes on tacos they also put on the fries. They put so much on it it's total overkill. It would have been fine with about 2/3 of what they put on it. I highly recommend their carne asada tacos. they are freshly made with good corn tortillas and served with some freshly made tortilla chips and grilled onions and a fried pepper. Adding some grilled onions on the side is a nice touch. It also has fresh cilantro and fresh onions. On top of all that you can easily stand there and watch their lovely abuelita grill the carne asada and the onions and work the fryer for the chips and pepper. All the staff are so nice and friendly it's like hanging out in a Mexican home. They also got fresh guacamole and fresh salsa and you can have as much salsa as you want. if you're sold already than stop reading the rest of this and just order tacos. now for the rest of the menu. they have a quesadilla, enchiladas, torta and not much else. I really wish they had a grilled fish option but not on their current menu. So many people walk in asking for fish tacos baja style, which is really gringo style with the fried fish and the white sauce. I would strongly discourage you to order that. There are plenty of other places in the area that serve the same thing. Also I found it really odd that the amount of attention they put into their tacos and meat option they seem to not do for their rice and beans. They're very bland and don't seem to be freshly made. Don't order the rice and beans and I would recommend to the owner that they stop serving it altogether and instead just provide more of their wonderful tortilla chips. Pretty good and flavorful tacos, but horrible experience. Don't come during dinner! The only thing that made this experience un-enjoyable was that we came around 6:40 P.M. The staff were all eating dinner and just starred at us when we walked in. We thought the place was closed. However, the lady took our order and didn't understand what we were ordering. Based on the menu, I thought you're supposed to choose your wrap, toppings, then meat (like chipotle style). The lady made it seem like it's a one-choice-for-all (tortilla only) and didn't even ask me what I wanted on my tacos. It was so confusing! The lady seemed so annoyed when we ordered more food. I think she wanted to go back to having dinner with her coworkers. The super fries were okay.. soggy and cold... carnitas was dry. We decided to eat at the restaurant and the staff was SO loud! I used to come here all the time for lunch. Lunch for me is a relaxing time usually and to get away from the office. There is a worker there that is always screaming and singing very obnoxiously when there are customers eating. It's really put me off of this place. Their salsa is a hit or miss. This small place is a great place to get some really great authentic Mexican food. We went today for a quick bite and to get a few friend together to celebrate a birthday. I asked if they had a little desert to add to the birthday girl's celebrations. Immediately the young worker zipped out of the restaurant and returned carrying a bag. She then took the time to put together a beautifully presented flan! Of course the birthday song started to play and the flan was presented! Our friend had tears in her eyes! This place is across the street from us and what a blessing and a curse that is. These tacos are FIRE. I loved that you could customize your toppings and they give you chips for free as a little side. This place is awesome!I can for lunch on a Tuesday (they got taco Tuesdays!) and it was amazing! I got 5 different kinds of meats (birria, Al pastor, carne, lengua and a meat she recommended), they we're all juicy. I thought it was going to be run of the mill street tacos, but damn! I drove here because it said it closes at 8pm . It's 6pm and when I arrived the place was closed, all the doors were locked. I could see the workers were inside eating.
