Mi Burrito has been one of our son's favorite restaurants for years, and we're regulars for a reason. The food is consistently outstanding, the portions are generous, and the staff always makes us feel like family. So when it came time to celebrate his 8th-grade graduation, there was no question where we wanted to host his dinner. Christina and her entire team absolutely exceeded every expectation. Planning a celebration for a large group can be stressful, but Christina made the entire process seamless from start to finish. I would've given it five stars, but unfortunately, the young woman cashier with the nice nails, didn't know how to cancel a transaction that was not paid for yet. (swiped the wrong card) she was a little rude but yea! I got the Web burrito. I saw them, which was good with the red and green sauce. I've had Chilaquiles before which one we over. Worst money I've spent on food. The beans were real pasty and under seasoned and the cheese didn't help. Worst of the all the crispy taco that was supposed to have no hot sauce, no pico de gallo and I'm not sure what was put on it but it was not crispy and very spicy. I paid $28 and change for food that was no good except the rice and it was a bit salty. Will not eat here again or recommend it to anyone. Maybe they need a different Chef but it definitely needs assistance read more

I never liked wet burritos until I got one at Mi Burrito. Now it's basically the only thing I order when I come. The other food here is also amazing. This was my first choice for a family celebration and everyone enjoyed it. The servers are always great and super friendly. There is seating inside and outside, though I prefer inside because of traffic noise. read more

We came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The server was friendly. We were brought complimentary salsa and tostadas to start. The salsa was addicting. I got coffee and machaca con huevos. It was really good. I hadn't had that in so long so it was very nostalgic. I've heard good things about this place and it didn't disappoint. I will have to return to try the pozole. read more

Our table had pozole (plenty of meat, for those who like hominy could use a bit more); taquitos plate was a yummy hit; carnitas plate was plentiful for a guy; combo plate potato taco was perfect crispy and filled well, nice fill of chicken enchilada, and rellano actually had tiny heat, which was good. We just recently discovered this place only five minutes away from our home. Everything we've ever gotten there was delicious. It's very small with very little indoor seating space but we've always eaten out on the patio and love it. We've also gotten takeout from there and the order was done right. There are very few Mexican restaurants in the Whittier area that we find edible, so Mi Burrito is a new gem for us. read more

Food: - Mi Burrito with Al Pastor (wet) ($17): This thang is HUGE and it's delicious with both red and green sauce! A ton of flavor without feeling oily and greasy but it really has a fill with delicious Al Pastor. I might try Carne Asada next time. Love the rice and bean filling with the guac on the side. Delicious! - Free chips and salsa: Oh man, their chips are huge slats of fried tortilla it seems and you break off your own pieces. And the green salsa is FIRE & spicy lol. Definitely has a kick to it! Pros: - Fast and full service. Great for families and everyday folk - Delicious flavors. The flavors themself are a solid 4.5 stars. - Attentive service. - Inside and outside options with quite a few TVs around. Cons: - A little pricey for the cuisine. I met a friend here for lunch on a weekday. The service was in point and the food came out fairly quick. The chips and salsa are addicting. I could eat their rice and beans everyday. They have an outdoor and indoor seating. We sat outdoors; it was nice but you can hear the noise of the main street so if you're sensitive to noise..... having a dedicated parking lot is a huge plus. read more

We came here for Sunday Brunch and were not disappointed. The restaurant has a small but adequate parking lot in the back making coming here convenient. We were greeted by a friendly waiter who escorted us to a table and took our drink order. Our waiter was super attentive, polite, and came to our table on several occasions to check on us and brunch us refills in our drinks. Now for the food, the complimentary chips and salsa were good, the salsa was delicious and had a nice kick to it. I ordered the chicken machaca, it was so good, full of flavors, and just delicious. I'd definitely come here and order it again. Overall we had a great dining experience, we love supporting local businesses that provide quality service and food like here. The restaurant is quant with Mexican decor and TV monitors mounted on the wall and they had the football game on. Some of the best wet burritos in town! My go to order is usually a shredded chicken burrito with green salsa, make it a combo (adds beans and rice on the side). This usually costs about $25 after tax and tip, ouch! But it's always super fresh and delicious. The chicken is never dry and the flavors are always on point. I really love the green salsa here but it's $1.75 if you want some on the side. Ouch again! Parking is super easy with a lot in the back. Highly recommend the spot. read more

Had a hard day and all we wanted was some comfort chile relleno. So Mi Burrito to the rescue? NOPE :( The chile relleno was so super spicy that it was inedible. Like 8 out of 10 instead of a normal 4 of 10. I've been ordering this for the last decade and more and this was out of character. The chile itself was perfect, a normal heat poblano... The red sauce was so hot it ruined the whole dish. WTH? I ordered this for my senior father and he could not eat it. We ordered Uber eats from this place and decided to come check it out. We sat in the outside patio area which had maybe around 10 tables. Someone came out and wiped the table, brought us menus, and salsa and tostadas to munch on. We ordered the pozole and we loved it!! It was a big portion and had a lot of meat.
