My second time here. The first time I had the roasted pork banh mi. I thought it was okay, I went here because I heard of good things from here. But I think it's just that I go on not their best days. The banh mi tasted a day or so old. If you eat quality banh mi, you know what I mean. Not crispy enough, and the inner of the bread was chewy first then firm since it's not fresh. The pickled daikon and carrot wasn't really pickled yet either. Tasted like it was just dropped in the pickle brine for a few minutes. But the flavors of the pate and meat was good. The vegetables were fresh. It just needed a quality baguette. Would I come here again? I wouldn't oppose to it, but would not be my go to. I would go here only because of convenience and because it is a drive thru. But I paid a little over $8 for it. Just a solid 3 stars for me. But 6/10 on an overall scale.

Today I really wanted to go through a drive thru since I had my dog with me. This was the perfect choice! The service was great and the food was pretty good. I got the grilled pork bahn mi, it was good but a little in the dryer side. If you can tell by the photo, I was expecting it to be more "shredded" or "thin" but it was thick piece and a little in the dryer side. The bread was really crispy! Needed more veggies and mayo. The shrimp spring rolls were good and had ham in it! Fresh veggies, pretty good size. (I wouldn't just get this though). The peanut sauce was on the lighter side. The prices are AMAZING. For a bahn mi and spring rolls, it cost around $13 al together. They were also super quick. I would definitely come back here again.

This is officially my new favorite spot for Vietnamese coffee. They have 6 size options; the 24oz ($7) is my usual, and it's brewed perfectly--strong with ideal sweetness. I also had the pork banh mi ($7.25). It had tons of pork, but could use more veggies for my taste. Still good though! Highly recommend all around.

I love that they have different sizes of Vietnamese Iced Coffees! Very strong, right amount of sweetness, very tasty!

For the price and the amount of food we got, I would definitely be coming back! Fast service, went inside - will try out the drive thru next time. I got: - Special Combo Banh Mi - Lemongrass Grilled Pork Banh Mi - Shrimp Fresh Roll - 3x Vietnamese Iced Coffees Spent about $40 for all these items I really liked the variety in the Special Combo Banh Mi, breads were right amount of crispy and softness with veggies ratios. Lemongrass Grilled Pork Banh Mi had great flavors but it was a little chewy fatty which I didn't mind, I know some folks don't like that but because it was chewy it was a little hard to eat without pulling out the meat bites and causing the sandwich to deconstruct. It could also be just this batch of grilled pork - will be back to try out the other variations of Banh Mi! I enjoyed the Shrimp Fresh Rolls too - I'm glad it didn't just have shrimp and also had pork roll in it. Vietnamese Iced Coffee hit the spot! Some places make it too sweet or not strong enough but this was definitely strong and right amount of sweetness level for my taste. I'd come back just for the Viet Iced Coffees!

You won't really notice where parking is (or that there's more parking if you keep driving beyond this place) when you come here the first time. Even the entrance is a little nuanced unless you keep driving forward. When you do get here, you'll see a couple two-person tables for seating and what feels like a cafe inside. You order up at the front, and they offer a wide selection of Vietnamese sandwiches, coffee, milk tea and other things. I got the lemongrass pork banh mi with a spicy chai on the side. This is actually my first time having a lemongrass-flavored meat on a banh mi, but it wasn't bad at all! There was more sauce than what I would have liked, but I loved how big the sandwich was and how nicely flavored the meat was! Spicy chai was good too, it was a very calming drink to have during a rainy day. You bus your own tables here, so nothing to say about service. I look forward to trying their other sandwiches, especially their grilled pork banh mi and some of their other espresso drinks!

Banh mi and coffee drive-thru near Valley Medical Center. Probably the cheapest banh mi sandwich ($6.75-7.65 each) and spring rolls ($4 for 2) you can find these days. The rolls are alright, but the sandwiches are delicious. My go-to are #2 and #15. A few of the ladies working here are nice, but others rarely smile. Tip: Call ahead if you are ordering more than a couple sandwiches or drinks, or when you think it may be busy. Though you still have to wait in line if there are cars in front of you.

I was craving a Banh Mi, so I decided to stop by Double Wired Espresso. It was a cute and cozy place, and the ladies who ran it were nice and friendly. We ordered the #2 Banh Mi sandwich which is the Special Combo and the #8 Banh Mi sandwich which is the Grilled Chicken. The French bread was super soft and the sandwich was filled with meat and pickled vegetables. Something that I liked about this place was that there was a little drive-through. We walked in, but the next time we come to grab some Banh Mis we will be using the drive-through.

My boyfriend and I were on our way to head to a convention early and saw that this place was open early. We decided to stop by to grab breakfast first and we were the only ones dining in as their drive through had a small line. We were greeted by an employee and we came up to see the menu and they have quite the options from banh mis to different small bites from steamed buns to spring rolls. For today's visit, we ended up with the shrimp spring rolls, grilled chicken banh mi, combination banh mi, white chocolate mocha and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The inside is a bit dark with natural lighting coming from the outside. There were three tables and a couple of chairs in their small dining room. There is a small stand across their soft drinks refrigerator with condiments or other additions for your drinks or food. Service was alright, it wasn't really friendly and we did feel a bit rushed. However, our drinks and food was made rather quickly and it tasted delightfully delicious! The banh mis were filled heartily with vegetables and our choices of protein. The shrimp spring rolls were satisfying as well as their dipping sauce. I typically don't order Vietnamese iced coffee as it is usually too dark and bitter for me but this location has the perfect balance of sweet and strong. It definitely helped perk me up! Overall, we would love to stop by again as it is a solid spot for breakfast or lunch!

Pricing are very nice- it's hard to find a place with $4 flavored coffee or less than $7 banh mi! They only have 3 small tables to sit in inside but it's cool you can order drive through too! Will be great to come with my kids to grab the drive through Got the Vietnamese coffee, it was good. The banh mi is warm and soft with a crispy outside. The flavor wasn't amazing but was good for the price and convenience of the location

It's a treat to come here when able to! I enjoy the variations of banh mi & breakfast sandwiches; which they seem to prepare once ordered & you can tell the difference than most drive thrus. I almost always get their Vietnamese iced coffee, which does the trick caffeine wise & are delicious ! The couple who own it are very sweet. At times there are a few cars ahead & can take a little time to get your order, yet it's worth the wait !

Meh, the Vietnamese coffee wasn't that good. The pork banh me was very spicy and the cucumber cut super thick. The lady who helped me was nice and I didn't have to wait that long. I can't give it a bad review based on that. If you want a quick lunch or breakfast I still recommend this convenient little pit stop.

This spot is in an unassuming location, but they serve awesome banh mis and pretty strong Vietnamese coffee! We've gotten different types of banh mis throughout the years since we live 2 miles away but my favorite is the Roast Pork! The others are good too but nothing beats the Roast Pork for me. Also, their Vietnamese coffee is my fave out of all the places I've ordered from. Some places are either excessively strong or excessively sweet. At this place, it's in between. I know that they have other items too but it's hard to resist getting the same thing when they have the Roast Pork on the menu. Note: you can order through the drive-thru but you can also go inside. It's pretty tight inside so I'll stick to drive-thru. read more

We've been going here for years and they've expanded their offerings from what we normally purchase, bánh mì and cà phê sữa dá, to some exceptional rice dishes. Today, we purchased the roast pork on rice, and grilled chicken on rice. OMGoodness, it was so good. We've had these several times and it always hits the spot. read more

I stumbled upon this little neat place as I left CVS after my flu shot. It was convenient due to the drive thru line. There was one car ahead of me and they did not take long. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and pork spring roll. Both items were really good. I think the coffee was a little too sweet for my taste but still good. The man that took my order at the window was friendly. I want to go back and try more foods because I had a good experience. If ever in town and need a snack, meal, dessert or drink, come here! read more

Definitely lives up to the name: strong Vietnamese coffee and your usual java options. They have more size options from 8oz to 24oz!! ALSO BANH MIS, what a plus! Love the cold cuts and crispy pork banh mis (#2 and 4)! Older man taking orders is friendly and food's prepared surprisingly quick for the drive through. Good vibes and great sandwiches. read more

The roasted pork bánh mì is one of the most amazing things I've ever eaten in my entire life. It is also really cheap too. Likewise, the Vietnamese coffee also goes really well with the sandwiches. I ordered takeout so I do not have anything to add about the ambiance and staff, but given how good the food is, I'm sure they are not lacking in those areas either. read more

Omg this place is soooo good!! I always get the number 10 with extra cilantro and pate. All the different flavors from savory to fresh to the tangy pickled carrots and jicama. My husband always orders the grilled pork and it always hits the spot for him too! The customer service is great and the main person that's usually there is so sweet. A very average Vietnamese sandwich place which I should have seen coming given the name that advertises their coffee more. Can't say much about the drinks as we didn't order any, but the sandwich was a bit tough and not very flavorful. I think I've been spoiled by the great sandwich shops in South Seattle enough that everything pales in comparison. As stated, the bread didn't seem very fresh or tasty, the egg was made omelette style without seasoning, the pork was average and the pate wasn't really on the flavor radar. I think the best point of the sandwich were the pickled carrots but even those were only slightly sweet and missed the kick that you would usually get from the vinegar. Moreover, the sandwiches are about $6, which is fine usually but the service and food you get seems comparatively underhanded with the price. Fortunately there are quite a few Vietnamese restaurants and cafes in the area (though not frequent in that particular intersection) if you are in the mood for Vietnamese food. read more

Best bahn mi on this side of town!!! Just drive up, place your order, and she delivers it quick and with a smile. I had the grilled pork bahn mi sandwich. It was packed with so much deliciously flavored meat, lots of fresh veggies, and just the right amount of mayo and a little fresh jalapeño to give it a kick! The french bread was perfectly toasted! I tried to eat half the sandwich and save the other half for when I got home, but I couldn't resist it! I finished the whole sandwich while driving. It was easy to brush off the crumbs when I stood up though. Haha. Oh, and you can order bubble tea and espresso too! read more

This place is worth the drive. I have been wanting to come here for the longest time and bookmarked it a while back. I got the grilled chicken combo rice plate. The chicken comes out roasted and hot! I really enjoy it when there's some color on the skin (will attach photo), also the side salad portion, comes with Romain, daikon, and carrots. You know they picketed their veggies right when it tastes so good-- (I'm excited to come back and try their Vietnamese sandwiches now) I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee and Thai milk tea. The Vietnamese coffee is good. Comes out strong with a large portion. Im use to the smaller cups full of ice, so imagine that but triple the side and less ice, haha, yes you will be caffeine wired. The thai milk tea is delicious here. I would come back for sure. I'm already planning on when to be back. I love the perks that this is a DRIVE-THRU. They also have a dine in. Found a gem of a place for awesome Vietnamese sandwiches and Vietnamese coffee at a low cost. It's like what you find in the Seattle Delis except it's in a Renton and it's better. I've tried about 5 of their sandwiches and all have been great in flavor and texted. Their other sides such as spring rolls and humbaos are good but nothing to rave about. The Vietnamese coffee is actually unique in flavor. A different mixture by the owner to stand out. The 1 coffee gave me everything for a drive down to Cannon Beach, Oregon and back to Renton. It's some powerful stuff so be ready for it. Keep in mind that you can call and order in advance and it is pick it up only via the drive through. There isn't a walk in as of right now. read more

Solid sandwiches and even better prices! This is a tiny shop with a drive-thru that shares a parking lot with a CVS and chiropractor, so there's always plenty of parking if you don't want to do the drive-thru. The owner is super friendly, and the prices are excellent for what you get (~$7.50 for a sandwich and $9 for a drink + sandwich + fresh roll). My favorite sandwich is probably the #2 special combo, which is an item I think every banh mi shop should have mastered. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, so I can't say if the coffee is REALLY good here. The only comments I have are that I'd definitely order it again, and the coffee to ice ratio is great. If you want to sit down and get some work done, Double Wired has free wi-fi and a couch corner, complete with a coffee table. Overall a nice place to grab a bite and relax a bit. read more

Great coffee, great food, excellent value, ultra convenient. Love coming here for a quick lunch during the work week that is fresh, delicious, and a quick pick me up. Amazing banh mi s!!! The pork one was slight(very very) spicy while the chicken was again very very lightly sweet such that both the flavors were complementing the meat. 'm not a fan of pork due to its smell. But their steamed pork bun was so good that i didn't realize i was even eating pork. Overall the service and cleanliness of the place is very nice and the bathrooms were very clean. It seems like their coffee is their specialty however as the sandwiches were ok but nothing to write home about. Their grilled pork lacked some flavor and their spring rolls were just ok and the peanut sauce was kind of bland. Total hidden gem!! They're quick, friendly, and the coffee is SO GOOD the woman who always takes my order is so sweet and efficient, she remembers my order which makes grabbing coffee on the way to work so convenient, truly the highlight of my mornings. They even accommodated an egg sandwich on gluten free bread for me no problem (I brought my own but I always feel weird asking places to use it when they don't have gluten free options) couldn't recommend Double Wired enough !! read more

Nice visit a few weeks ago for a snack! The lady (and owner?) there is a friendly Vietnamese lady. She'd bought the place and offers a variety of common snacks plus coffeeshop standard drinks but the best unique thing I'd say is her banh mi. I'd ordered one and asked her what she'd recommend. I think it was the 2-kind meat banh mi (ham and another meat; I think pork). Next door to a salon, as well. It's pretty good! Nice service. Interesting place. And drive-thru fo' yoo. read more

The name Double Wired Espresso gives no indication that it is a Vietnamese deli......and an excellent deli at that....With a drive thru and full espresso bar. For drinks- Full espresso menu along with Vietnamese french pressed coffee, Mexican mocha, Italian sodas, and Thai and boba milk and slushy teas......There is separate menu for daily drink specials. For food - The bulk of the food menu has banh mi options, banh bao (humbao), spring rolls and egg rolls...But there are also American sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and muffins. There is a separate menu for meal combos. Pretty simple. Pretty straight forward. The prices are more than fair and the portions are great...I ordered the taro blended boba tea and a grilled pork banh mi. The sandwich wasn't spectacular in the flavor department, but was fresh and generous with meat and veges. The bubble tea tasted good and was well blended. Overall I would return for the convenience of having a drive thru, cheap prices, large variety, and friendly owner. read more

Food is always super fresh and delicious, and so are the drinks! I'm so happy I found the perfect spot in Renton to grab an espresso or a bubble tea AND yummy food/snacks at the same time! The fresh tofu spring rolls are my fav to grab in the morning, and the cantaloupe bubble tea is super juicy! You're totally missing out if you haven't stopped by yet!! Quick Banh mis and spring rolls. The roasted pork Banh mi is pretty popular here. The spring rolls are delicious, can't really go wrong. There's usually only 1-2 people working so be prepared to wait a little bit. Drive thru option is pretty convenient. read more

Ordered a Thai Iced Tea with boba.. Boba is totally falling apart. I have never seen this at any other boba place. Also I have never seen any bubble tea served in a cup about the size of a grande cup in Starbucks.. And $4.50 for this small cup??? Totally not worth it. I will stick to their passion fruit smoothie with lychee jellies. Bahn Mi here is ok, but nothing you would get out of your way to get. And boba besides being totally soft is stuck together in chunks so had to leave it all. (See photos) read more
