The jukebox. And condiments.
Tamara J.

The Double T diner is always a good choice. The menu has a lot of options and they even have desserts and a full bar. There is a room in the back that looks like a good option to accommodate larger parties. I stopped in on a Saturday morning to grab breakfast. I was seated right away. And the coffee was served shortly after being ordered upon sitting down. The waitress was very attentive. She took our orders when we were ready. She said the food would be out shortly and that was not a lie. About 5 min later the food came out. Not sure how they were able to prepare the food that quickly but it was hot and fresh. They give you a lot of food here so I think that's a plus. My pancakes were nice and fluffy. The bacon was perfectly crisp. Please note this is an older establishment. So if you are looking for something pretty or fancy this is not the place to go. It is a no frills classic old school diner. They even have a jukebox at all the tables. Even though they do not work it adds help add to the nostolgia and obiance of the diner.

Stayed nearby while on our way from Boston to Raleigh NC and decided to try this place. A old school diner with lots of stainless steel and jukeboxes at the table. This place was huge. There was a very large counter seating area as well. The cakes and pastries were over the top. My wife and I split a meat lovers omelette and the were still leftovers

Tons of butter, jelly, etc. on the table. I got burger & fries, so wasn't relevant to me, but wow a positive depending on what you ate here

Continuing alphabet series representing 2018 is D is for Double T Diner. I was here one time on a date in November 2018. The one positive was the portion sizes were big! Food quality of my burger (which was like the size of a hubcap) was mediocre. It's a typical diner feel, but I prefer Silver Diner for the quality and everything else, but this wasn't bad either.

DOUBLE T FOR THE QUICK WIN! I must say the only problem I have ever had was one server who was the reason I hadn't returned in so long. BUT this day, I am glad we came by. No wait... quiet... perfect time for breakfast and Geesh the food was flavorful!! Especially those grits!! Man I was not disappointed.

Walked to have breakfast on a Wed. Morning from the mechanics. Seated promptly. Server was attentive and great! I had the southwestern omelet with salsa. Free coffee or juice (and 1 refill) with meals over $5.99 during the morning time. Omelete meal came with a side ( i chose grits, they were a little watery for me), & toast. Also had Amaretto Sour. Delish No free wifi. Hella parking around the building

They tasted exactly like they look crap. They were lumpy. They needed a whole lot more of everything

Breakfast is not good here the eggs came scrambled, barely with two slices of cheese melted on top. The pork sausage was horrible. The bacon had no flavor. The pancakes were cold. The grits were really really stiff. Had no flavor and no matter what we did to him and potatoes were cold as well. I have my breakfast and spit up the rest before I even left the restaurant. It was just nasty and we're not even gonna talk about the tea or the Diet Coke that taste like water dish water that is. The best part about our breakfast was our waiter although he was running everywhere he went. We just wanted him to sit down and have a seat and quit running so much that worries us we didn't want him to slip and fall and hurt hisself great job Juan

Mr Moe is amazing. I don't know how he has such an amazing memory for everyone's order even a table of 6. Hes super patient and extremely hospitable. Hes one of the highlights of coming here. The food was delicious. Get the crab cake plate. Delicious and generous portion.

Grits

Stopped in today for a quick bite and it was an average meal which could have used a little more flavor. I think of everything I ate, my favorite may have been the grits. Our server, Kelly was friendly but it did take her quite a while to return. I'll chalk it up to it being busy today. The ambiance was a typical diner atmosphere, hustle and bustle.

The restaurant is family regular however, this is my first time reviewing. We came here for breakfast to celebrate a birthday but, I have been to this restaurant all different times of day for breakfast, lunch and late night food as well. The service is always on point. The servers really work hard to accommodate large parties. Our server Moe has being a server down pack. He remembered our entire large party order without writing a thing down and getting everyone's order correct. They have an extensive menu with lots to choose from to make the entire large party happy. The floors needed some attention as they were napkins and very noticeable amounts of food particles on the floor. What I love most about this restaurant is they allowed by daughters Girl Scouts to set up in the lobby to sell cookies. I love a restaurant that supports the community. We will definitely return.

Eggs, home fries and turkey sausage

Stopped by Double T on the way to work. Typical diner featuring a huge menu with so many options to choose from. My companion and I got a breakfast combo with Turkey sausage and the appetizer sampler (came with wings, tenders, mozzarella sticks, and fries. Food was what you would expect from a diner, extremely average but service was timely as I was in a bit of a rush. The meal was fairly expensive for the quality of the food, but not surprising in todays economy. Overall, I wouldn't return but it was definitely a good spot for something quick or some breakfast and coffee. Note: They had a full bar which was impressive for a diner!

I've recently started working in the area and they are supper close thus I decided to try them out…read more I was very excited when I saw it was Korean owned however their K-food section is only two items; Bulgogi Dupbap & the Bulgogi Sub. The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

Solid Experience, But I Miss the Old Owner…read more Café on the Square is a reliable spot with decent food and a cozy atmosphere. The service was good, and the dishes were tasty, but nothing that really stood out. That being said, I miss the old owner--there was something special about his presence that made every visit feel more welcoming and personal. I hope the new management keeps things moving in the right direction. I'll definitely return, but it's just not quite the same without the old vibe.

I had the Southern Slammer Sandwich (with the grits) and my sister had the Fried Chicken, Biscuit and Gravy Omelet (with the hash browns). We couldn't stop saying how good they were! The service was on point, everyone was very nice, and the noise level was fine. Here is something I literally have never experienced anywhere else: My sister has a couple of food allergies and she gave the waitress a piece of paper where she listed out what she can and cannot have. A few minutes later, a lovely young woman (I think she said she was a manager) came out and discussed the list with my sister in detail, just to make sure the restaurant got it exactly right. My sister almost cried! As far as timing goes: They don't take reservations, but they have an efficient system -- when you arrive, they take down your name and phone number, tell you how long the wait will be, and then text you when it's your turn. They told us 40 minutes but it turned out to be only 20, so it's good we hadn't wandered too far away. Next time we're in Baltimore, we'll definitely be back.

The restaurant itself is small and cozy, so we had about a 30 minute wait, but it was worth it. We ordered the G&G Country Scramble, Sweet Baby Jesus, Cap'n Crunch French Toast, and the spicy crab, tomato, and pepper jack dish. The menu definitely has a Southern-style Maryland feel with things like crab, biscuits and gravy, and grits throughout. Portions are huge, and the food was rich, comforting, and very filling. We absolutely needed a nap afterward. The Cap'n Crunch French Toast was perfect to share for the table. I recommend eating it first while it is still crispy on the outside. Our table favorite was the G&G Country Scramble, followed closely by the Sweet Baby Jesus. I also tried the homemade lemonade and it was delicious. Service was great and the whole place had a warm, family-style atmosphere. One helpful thing to note, a 20% gratuity is automatically included on bills over $50, and they do not split checks.
