This place is your typical beautiful chic Instagram ready decorated restaurant, the staff is super friendly and you're greeted and seated within minutes. The food came out quickly and was to my liking, serving size are big so definitely enough to take home, this particular order had all the meats, eggs and served on French toast with a side of hash browns and toast- very delicious, no complaints & fast service- would recommend trying this place, prices are very affordable as well ! read more

Have been to the Double Egg Cafe 3 times, Each time the food was excellent. Several weeks ago I had an egg white omelet. It had veggies and cheese and was outstanding. This past weekend I had a summer salad and it too was excellent. There were 5 of us and everyone else had eggs & pancakes and everyone was delighted with their respective choices. I would say it wasn't amazing. I thought the decor inside was vibing but the space/ dining experience felt congested. And food was just ok, as in nothing super special. Just basic. I know the place has been beaming with customers and the service and staffing have been excellent. That's always a plus for any business. Was in town for the weekend and we stopped by. Greeted very nicely, at the time there was no wait. Nice clean atmosphere. Restrooms also nice and clean. Our waiter Tania was very nice and patient with all our needs. Food was very good and very large portions. We had several 2 eggs breakfast with pancakes , French toast and crepes. Also had a skillet and it was a large portion. Great prices! Highly recommend and definitely will be back. read more

The crepes are always delicious and the strawberry avocado was out of this world. I love this place, the service was fast and the server was sweet and mild mannered, the atmosphere is pretty cool they have a nice vibe with their traditional diner atmosphere and add an original touch with their coffee and liquor bar. Overpriced - many things $1 - $2 more than other places of similar level. $4 for one piece of toast!!!??? Staff eating in kitchen. Was empty. Oil used for hash browns was old and made them inedible. Best pancakes in town - big, thin and almost crispy. Good: No tax in tip calculation. read more

I heard such good things about Double Egg Cafe so I was excited to try it. It wasn't bad but wasn't anything great. I ordered an omelette and pancakes. The omelette was good, but it had a slight taste of a fake butter like it was made with something butter flavored instead of real butter. Also the pancakes tasted like they were made with a mix. The service was great. Our server was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was also wonderful! I hope they change the recipe for the pancakes. read more

First, we felt welcomed, and the service was on point. Waiter had a pleasant conversation and she was attentive. Vanilla latte was delicious it was a little darker than I usually get when I order vanilla latte but non the less delicious. I had the roasted mushroom omelette (added chicken sausage on the side), crispy hash browns and pecan pancakes. I know that sounds like a lot of food and can I tell you it was large portions too !! omg it was A LOT!! Omelette flufffy right amount of veggies to cheese ratio. Chicken sausage was not the sweet kind (which i don't like for breakfast) it was good and seasoned. Ok, now let's talk about these pecans on the pancakes!!! I was pleasantly surprised it was candied pecans - I felt like i needed to put myself in a corner and eat them by themselves( no one speak to me )!! My husband had the Florentine omelette with bacon and granola pancakes. My husband likes granola in the batter but this one came with it only on top. The flavor of the pancakes were tasty. The texture was different maybe a little more dense, not cake like, not a knock but just explaining my experience. The ambiance was inviting and the cute wall for those picture taking people and also the wall with paint design or wallpaper definitely caught my eye. The bathroom was cute too !! Best place for breakfast or lunch in Coppell! Came in on a Sunday morning walked right in and were seated and served. Friendly, well staffed, clean, and fun atmosphere with a coffee bar inside! Everyone we encountered was kind, helpful and worked well together as a team. We had Robin as our server, she was so kind and helpful - being this was our first time, she took great care of us! Ok, last Saturday was the first time I tried this place and boy, am I glad I did. Brunch was fantastic and the live music was an awesome touch. Very entertaining and a great array of music. The Chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had and the Bloody Mary.... Well.... let's just say YUM!!! I will definitely be back. My friend and I plan on grabbing a group and swinging back in on another Saturday, hopefully when that girl is playing again. Great food, great service and great entertainment. Our first time visiting this gem and we were very impressed. First and foremost, I am obsessed with the decor; the restaurant is beautifully decorated which is not lost on me, a diehard HGTV stan. Our server Ashley was such a joy. She has such a bubbly and inviting personality and her energy is contagious. She provided excellent service which always adds to the dining experience. Lastly, the FOOD. Amazing! The portion are massive. I ordered the Hangover without cheese and a short stack of red velvet pancakes with toppings on the side. I could only eat half the sandwich and a few bites of the pancakes. I was completely satisfied. My husband ordered the Florentine omelette and a Tequila sunrise. He enjoyed his food and also had half of the omelette to take home. We are from Maryland and were visiting to attend the Cowboys vs Ravens game but we will definitely be back next time we are in Dallas. I've been 4 times the first time was great but it has continued to disappoint since the first visit. My husband wanted to try it so we went this morning. They used to let seniors order off kids menu but they stopped doing that and have no options for seniors and smaller items. I got the eggs and hash-browns. The hash-browns were burnt and nasty. My husband got the plain pancakes and could only eat half of them. No taste. They don't give u a receipt but I looked at the credit card when I got home and it was 45.00 for two glasses of water and pancakes and eggs. We will not be going back. Too bad it's gone down hill so fast. read more

Fantastic food with excellent service. The Carnivore Skillet was outstanding--rich, tasty blend of flavors. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience enjoyable. That said, I do have one complaint. We brought in some coupons we got in the mailbox, only to realize in the fine print that they're valid only on weekdays. While that's technically fair, it feels a bit off given that brunch is primarily a weekend affair for most people. The small print on the coupon made it feel a little slimy, and having our coupon rejected definitely left a sour note at the end of an otherwise great experience. read more

This Saturday morning we decided to try this new breakfast place. Just opened last week. I know with new establishments it can be a bit bumpy. I was blown away on how smooth and efficient everything was. The decor was beautiful and open. The staff was professional and courteous. It was crowded but the food came out fast and HOT! We requested substitutions in our meals with no problems. Everything came out perfect. We ordered Florentine omelette, carnivore skillet, chicken and waffles with side of gravy. The portion size was huge, you get 2 big stacks of pancakes, and everything was delicious. Only note is that we sat by the sunny window near the bar area since it was so busy. The host did make sure we were ok with that, which we were, just note it was really hot so I would definitely recommend some shades or tint on that window for that morning sunshine. But it was a Wonderful experience! Keep up the great work. We will surely be back for more. read more

Southwest Chicken wrap was on point! Service was great! Owners were available and super nice.

The atmosphere is great here, everything looks so comforting and welcoming. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato fries it was everything you wanted it to be. Big portions too. My husband had the cheese burger, he loved it. Also tried their fall pumpkin latte. Subtle and sweet, I'll have it again before it's gone. Overall we had a nice lunch here. The food was good, gigantic portions. Our server was great, and we had at least 2 other people stop by to check on us.

We were seated promptly and had glasses of ice water on the table practically before our butts hit the very comfy chairs. Hot coffee came right out, along with an insulated carafe. The menu has all the favs. Our order came out very quickly and everything was delicious. They even got the over-medium eggs right! Our waitress was super sweet and very efficient. I saw the surrounding tables being cleaned very quickly by the host/greeter, so the whole team seems to be very engaged in their jobs. Good work, y'all! read more

Our first visit was a great experience. Service was very attentive and helpful. She did a good job describing her favorite breakfast items. We ordered the southwest omelet and "the hangover" which was a French toast sandwich with lots of meat and cheese along with a side order of pancakes. The sandwich was good. Pancakes were nice and fluffy and fully approved by my pancake loving husband. My Southwest omelet was a bit unusual with roasted mushrooms but I would order it again. It was delicious. The servings were extremely generous and we took home lots of leftovers, easily another breakfast. I heartily recommend giving it a try. It's not a cheap breakfast but you get very good food and your moneys worth. We will go back, especially with friends and family. It's pretty inside and nicely redone. read more

I am a COPPELL local for almost 19 years and was happy to see a NEW restaurant going in. I was EXTREMELY disappointed!! The waitress was basically a MUTE and said nothing not friendly AT ALL. I absolutely had no idea of what to order everything just sounded so amazing (I ended up with the DY bites; it was so good!) When we got there It was no wait to be seated on a Saturday so that is awesome! If you're familiar with the dallas area every place will have a 1-2 hour wait (especially on a Saturday). I don't usually ever leave reviews, but hey I'm retired so why not. Definitely a person who really wants the small business to survive. And completely understand price for small business is a struggle. However, if you're going to tickle down the price to the consumer then make it quality. Coffee isn't good but $4, sausage was terrible, I haven't had the burrito for $16 , but I can't think what could be in that burrito that would cost that, cinnamon roll $16 , I wouldn't pay that in a specialty bakery. Anyway, cute cute place. And I'm willing to pay the price, but please use quality products if you're going to charge that much. read more
