Me and my husband went in tonight and I had to go to the restroom before ordering a drink and someone that came out of the girls restroom said the lock was broken so I asked my HUSBAND to come and guard the door for me and he got accused outside of the bathroom door for being inappropriate as I was washing my hands by the GM saying he was in the wrong for guarding the door and scrolling his phone. Like, what???? I told the GM he was my husband and brushed it off so I walked up to the bar to order my first drink but my husband came behind me and just said let's leave and the GM verbally shouted out "SEE YA" We were Unproblematic. Not only do I want to thank Andrew personally, I want to also thank Savannah. The bartenders are the only reason I consistently go to this bar. They make me feel validated, safe, and comfortable. I was having a blast on karaoke night (Thursday- Saturday) when a man decided to approach me and try to make me uncomfortable... Andrew (the bartender) did not let this happen. Not only did he confront the man, he escorted him away from the premises. This is the type of bar I remember/ recommend to my friends. Great little bar!! The name seemed a bit odd so I'd like to know the history but the bartender was excellent!! He was very hospitable and was quick to check on all customers within the bar. We went in to play darts and had a great time while there. They don't serve food but there's great places in the same center that you can order from while you're there. read more

Karaoke draws a fairly talented crowd although the selection of songs is a bit limited in my experience. Make sure you don't buy any alcohol unless you want to be nickel and dimed unexpectedly for ¢¢ things no other venue in the area charges you for, as well as taxes you've never heard of. Wouldn't be surprised if they start charging extra for the napkin it's served on and the straw it's sipped through. read more

Great little dive bar. Dark, small, decent prices, good selection of booze, and good service. Great hole in the wall with zero pretense. The bar is located in a ho-hum strip mall, and signage is very basic. Walking up, we liked the look of the patio area. Maybe when the weather's nicer. That being said, a lot of the patrons appeared to be smokers and they frequented the patio, so... maybe we'll enjoy indoors year-round. Walking in, first impressions: - It's small. I could see this place easily filling up and being elbow to elbow - if it's a hot spot. I'll bet it is for Cowboys games. - Nice dim lighting. Sources of lighting: blue Christmas lights on the ceiling, neon beer signs, and a hundful of bulbs hanging over the bar area. Ideal bar / pub lighting - but this is definitely a bar, not a pub. - Folks looked up when we walked in, and I sensed a lot of regulars. What's this? Fresh meat? And on the young side, too... We were probably the youngest there, and we're early 30's. This is not a young, hip, happening scene. That's not a bad thing, but fyi. The place was maybe half full at 6 pm on a Friday. We found a good table easily and then I wandered over to scope out the bar. Good local beer selection on draft, plenty of bottles in the coolers, and respectable whiskey selection. Mostly standard with a Bookers, Blantons, and a semi-nice Scotch or two. I was impressed to see Blantons, and with it on a special upper display shelf I had to ask how much before ordering. $8. Not bad at all. I'd normally expect $12, maybe even $14 around North Dallas. Done. I enjoyed two of these, up, that evening. My wife had two good local drafts. Almost everyone else in the bar was drinking a domestic bottle of something. Some drafts. I would NOT order a cocktail here. Just a guess, but I doubt they make them often enough to be known for good cocktails. Our craft drafts were good. Funny note: ZERO food here. 100% bar, 100% booze. Some folks brought in pizza from next door, so that's cool. But because there's only alcohol, you have to join their "private club" and get your driver's licence scanned. It was quick and easy. Recently went by on a recent Friday night to check out their karaoke. Very cliquey with what seemed like their crew of regulars monopolizing the stage. There were no signs or mention by the DJ on how to sign up. Not even a "hey just come on up and let me know what you want to sing if you want to be on stage". Even saw someone walk through the door and wave to the DJ then walk up to sing. Not very welcoming for someone looking for a new spot to enjoy watching and performing. The worst part was when I decided to tab out, they brought my bill and since it was around $14, I decided to just pay cash. I left a $20 on the little clipboard with my bill and left. Checked my credit card a few days later and saw that they still charged the amount to my card. So they took my cash and charged me. No reason for me ever to return to this place. Karaoke should be fun and inviting for new and returning guests, and the staff should not steal from the customers. read more

While drinking away around DFW I was heading to bar, but on the way I saw this one so decided to come in and try it. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the karaoke. Now this wasn't your regular drunk, get up, only know the verse, can't carry a tune karaoke. Most of the people had pretty good voices. The other thing I noticed was that the walls were pretty sparse. No TVs all the over place giving you sense overload. The bar was to the right and a pool table towards the back. Somehow, I had a feeling most of the customers were regulars, yet I never felt out of place or awkward like you can at some of these places. The staff were friendly and served up the usual suspects that you get on tap. This was one of those nice local neighborhood bars and look forward to coming back when I'm in the area. read more

Oh, so you HAVEN'T been to DDR on a Friday or Saturday night? For shame. I originally found this bar while living in Lewisville and going to school up at UNT. I'd made my way around the Tavern, Side Bar, RR, Muthers, RBAR rounds enough, and was trying to graduate so I needed a good bar in Lewisville. A few fraternity brothers and I made our way over to DDR, next door to Mama's Pizza just for the hell of it...I mean, it's a bar located in a strip mall center, class! Little did we know that there was a karaoke fest to be had Fri/Sat nights. Now, being mid-20's was AMAZING when we walked-in. The place is generally filled with the late 30s-60s set, and the karaoke is usually Elvis, country and the occaisional love ballad out of tune. However, this is what shooting the wheels-off is all about, so we picked every 80s/90s spare hit single we could to derail the evening, and kept going back. Tim, the resident karaoke MC is a great guy, the bar staff are all very nice, and when you stand before 50-odd strangers and belt-out All-4-One's "I Swear" to a fall-down laughing crowd, well...corporate American just fades-away for a few. Beers aren't much beyond the usual domestics, with pitchers being the best deal. Grab a table by 10pm, look for a song and make an idiot of yourelf, everyone there is laughing together with you when you do. There is a rose girl peddling flowers for girlfriends and the bar is laid-back enough that you're not looking at what dude's eyes are wandering over your girl all night. No waiting for drinks, but not much scenery aside from amazing mullets. ACE! read more

I like the fact that they built an outside seating section. This place does have a lot of regulars. I recommend going on the weekend to see some karaoke action. The owner is nice although not exactly the friendly warm type, but he is nice. I can tell that he knows his regulars pretty well and watches out for them. This place is off the charts. My friend told me about this dive bar. This place is LOL time. This is a bar where the colorful local Lewisville folks come to mate. We witnessed a family come and they watched their parents get drunk. Turns out they're not related it's just some scary random old guy dancing with this really young girl. Anyways, we went on a saturday night and they have karoake there. The DJ is quite friendly and actually sings pretty well. Most of everyone is actually pretty decent. The drinks are cheap here. If you go to Daddy Rabbit's on a weekend, you are guaranteed to see one of 3 things: a mullet, a cowboy hat, or something in camoflage. This place is just that great. Totally unpretentious. The people who are doing karaoke in here aren't auditioning for American Idol--they're doing songs they love for people who will enjoy them. Plenty of country and classic rock. Service is fast and the pours are solid. People do smoke quite a bit in here, so non-smokers and contact lens wearers, prepare thyselves. I found the jukebox a little complicated because it's digital and hooked up to the intraweb, but the bartender came over and showed me how it worked (I'm sure the 4 Jack-on-the-rocks had nothing to do with my ineptitude, ha.) Local Lewisville bar that's been around for ages. It's small and they have really fun karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. The people watching in this place is phenomenal! They also have a small dance floor! This is a bar where everyone feels like they fit in, and there's something for everyone! The price of the drinks is reasonable! It an ok bar. Seems like place with lots of regulars. This can be intimidating if you're new. The environment was fun and they have a dance floor. The bartender/owner does a great "Every Rose Has It Thorn". Drinks are reasonable priced and they have karaoke. My beef is that the DJ will skip the newbies and bump up the regulars in the karaoke line. We stumbled upon Daddy Rabbits a couple of weeks ago by accident. It ended up being a fairly mutual meeting ground for a group of our friends that have all now moved in seperate directions. It is set in a little shopping center, next to a Ham and Eggs, but it's easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. Parking is good, plenty of spots. Our first trip was great, almost a fluke. I figured I would give it another shot before I Yelped it. Well, let me tell you, NOT A FLUKE. The karaoke dj is great, he is fair and didn't play a bunch of fluff between singers. He did play the wobble for us though! Drinks are well priced, better than a lot of places in the area. The staff.... well, they make the place. Both times we came the same two people were working. The place was full, but there were serving quickly and with a smile. The young lady remembered out names, which we were all impressed with. They both seemed to care for their patrons. The gentleman bartender came to out table and cut up for a second even though he was clearly having a lot to deal with, and the dj came to out table and shook our hands and asked us back. They made us feel more than welcome and I believe we have found our new favorite spot! Thanks for the awesome service and for making our night so special. read more

This is a 'local' style bar. The prices are relatively cheap and service is usually friendly. The beer is always chilled - I haven't had an issue with the quality to date.
