This place is pretty good! Similar flavors to the previous Indian restaurant that was here. Went on opening day and was quoted 30 mins for a to-go order...order came out as quoted. Food was flavorful and the butter chicken was not overly spicy...I prefer extra spicy, so I wish they would ask how spicy you like it. The food had good quality as well and tasted fresh. It looks like they still have the buffet tables (pushed to the back and out of the way), so no buffet was setup when I was there :-( I don't know if the "Grand Opening" menu I ordered from on opening day is going to be their permanent menu (it looked pretty official as the menu was in color and well laminated). That said, everything is al-a-carte. I was fortunate enough to eat here on opening day and my meal was half off, but would have otherwise cost me $23.18 for an order of butter chicken, butter naan, and white rice...a lil pricey for my liking. Went to order takeout for my birthday. I love Indian food and was looking forward to eating it. The man who took our order was nice but failed at taking my order. The restaurant was empty so I thought it would be easy enough to get exactly what I ordered. I wanted saag paneer, paneer masala with a side of naan. What I got was watered spinach with tofu and a small cup of shredded cheese, very mild paneer when I ordered medium and very dry naan. Will NEVER come here again. read more

Loved biryani n bites but looks like there's a change in management. We visited to try their new menu and it was disappointing. The live pani puri was fun and tasty, could be better with the spiced potato filling. The masala puri was a joke - way too salty and legumes were uncooked. The Mysore masala dosa was good but sambar, chutneys had stale taste. My husband's madras chicken 65 never arrived even after 45 mins and then the server told us it wasn't ordered - seriously? His chicken chettinad was horrible and just full of bones and cartilage, barely any meat. We just didn't finish our food or pack any leftover, tipped decent and left. The servers should stop being defensive when customers give feedback. They seemed nice but come on, you should know how your food tastes and take feedback constructively! read more

Saturday and Sunday buffet is just great! With broad spread of both vegetarian and protein (Chicken and fish) options. The all the curries are flavourful and spicy in a sense, that a broad audience enjoy it which is good option when you bring big group or folks new to Indian food. They have changed management over the last 6 months and the place is worse. I have had multiple experiences that were worth complaining about but the most recent was the worst where I had paid online from the website but the staff didn't make the food or believe the website transaction was valid. I showed them proof and after convincing them I made an order that I paid for on THEIR WEBSITE they then took a picture of my receipt on my phone and offered to start making it then. It was already too late. My other bad experience have mostly been related to subpar service and overall poor management. I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Dal Tadka (comes with rice, and some kind of soup), Garlic Naan, Onion Uttapam (comes with 2 kinds of chutney). I'm newer to Indian food, I've probably eaten at 5 different restaurants. I went there with a friend this evening. I recognized the place with a different name in the past and was a little hesitant to walk in. The past experience was not too great. Anyways, walked in to see how the new owners have changed the restaurant. I will start with the food. We ordered Idli, medhu vada and rava dosa. Rava dosa came first and it was very good. It was a large portion served with thick sambar, peanut chutney and another coconut based chutney. I loved the peanut chutney. By the time we were done with the dosa, idli was served followed by medhu vada. Usually I prefer to start with idli, followed by vada and then dosa. But I ignored that small blip because of the fresh medhu vada. The vada was absolutely fresh; fluffy inside and crispy outside. Excellent dish. We had 'junnu' and it was so good. We ended the meal with filter coffee made with grounded coffee beans from India. Overall, a great experience. Not disappointed at all contrary to my fears walking in. Highly recommended. If you are a South Indian, you are not going to be disappointed. I had an opportunity to chat with the couple that owns the business. They are young, energetic and eager to serve great experience.
