A friend had told me that the local Donut store, Donut Tree, sells mochi donuts. So on this rainy day, I decided to come in and check out the store. I think this place has been here for a long time and the inside reminds me of how the old donut stores have looked when I was growing up. They have a few tables and chairs to sit at. You can see all the donuts displayed in a glass counter and you can order different types of donut flavors. We ordered some mochi donuts and also some donut holes. But we took this on the road and enjoyed it. Pretty good and tasty!

Stopped by next door for boba and decided to grab a donut here. There was a small line during a weekday afternoon so you know it's a good local spot! The donut was fresh and super fluffy. What a great treat!

I could smell the donuts from a couple stores down so I decided to check it out! There's quite a few donuts to choose from the first time I went there. Good quality donuts and the price pint wasn't too bad, approximately $21-22 for a box of regular donuts. Bigger ones and the mochi ones cost more. Their donuts have more weight in them than the Krispy Kreme donuts. The second time I came here, there weren't as many available. I decided to try the Oreo mochi donut. It tasted pretty good, but the mochi was a bit hard. I was better after I heated it up. I also tried their chocolate chip muffin which was good, but it wasn't like the texture of regular muffins. Theirs is more bread-like but still good and it wasn't huge! I love the blueberry donut and cinnamons donut. The jelly filled one was too sweet for me. The sugar ones were good too. Service was ok. There is a minimum of $5 if you want to pay with a credit card. Open 24/7!

This has been our family's go to donut shop since it opened. I have so many memories here with my grandpa who was a regular with his old donut shop crew years ago. It still has the old school donut shop vibe with vintage booths and seating that transport you back in time. The quality of the donuts is top notch, always fresh and never lacking in selection. Service is great and prompt. They bake all day so any time you go in, you're likely to be getting fresh donuts/croissants. They also do large orders for parties! Just call ahead

****If you use credit card, they charge you 3.99% no matter what amount you spend.**** **Shady: They do tell you the amount of the things you bought. HOWEVER, when you pay credit card, they don't even tell you or say the amount and when you go pay using credit card, they'll press a few things on the credit card pad. If you're not paying attention, which most people don't, you'll up charge without knowing if you don't read the fine print on their cashiers register. In addition, the fine print is so small for customers to truly see it without really leaning in and squinting with your eyes.*** ****pay cash if you can to avoid the 3.99% credit card charge**** I asked why they're charging, he told me it's cuz the credit card machine charged customers. In my head I said "yeah right", I see you put in the numbers for it to be charged that amount. I think they're just trying to avoid themselves having to pay the fee. I think the right thing for them to do is to tell all customers that there's a charge fee and actually tell them how much customers end up paying. I don't get why they only tell customers the cost in total, but when credit card is scanned and buttons are quickly pressed, it's silence, no mention of anything after the card is scanned. No mention of the actual charge of the total!!!!! ********************************* Besides that, they sell donuts, muffins, sodas, milk, and chocolate milk, etc. It's open 24 hours.

Slightly sour, but fruity coffee. Overall, I enjoyed it. Good mouthfeel too. Good temperature, it wasn't too hot nor luke warm. MANGO MATCHA At first taste, it tasted more like guava. But it was indeed mango. But a fake mango flavor. The mango flavor was there, but could not taste the matcha. It wasn't bad, but I had better mango matchas elsewhere. CUSTOMER SERVICE It was okay. Not bad, but not great. Staff could smile more than just stare at you. Even say "Hello" or "Welcome" when you walk in the coffee shop. LOCATION Located in a small strip mall at Golden Springs Plaza. Parking is medium-sized for the amount of businesses here. I had no issues finding parking in front of the coffee shop, although more and more parking spots were being taken. AMBIANCE + SEATS The ambiance was relaxing. No loud music. Lots of people coming in and working on their laptops. Five small tables for two in the center. Along the wall there were bar seats for 19-20 people. There's a long communal table in the center for seats for 4-5 people. At the front and to the side, there were 3 tables for two. Outdoor tables for two right outside the cafe. Bathroom is outside of the cafe and you have to enter the other part of the building with a bathroom code to unlock. Will I visit again? Maybe if I'm in the area. But I'm in no rush to come back.

This one is just a Coffee Lab, so it doesn't have the extensive baked goods like the Cerritos location, but still has a decent selection towards the cashier area. Some refrigerated chubby cakes and slices, canned and bottled drinks, and then some pre-wrapped baked goods like bread, cookies, mochi, etc. They can warm it for you too I believe. With the increase of Smoking Tigers, I heard from my friend that also frequents these that they're cutting a lot from their menu, food and drink wise. My beloved choco mugwort, please return as a seasonal drink at least. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I was on the fence about ordering a limited seasonal Yakult cold brew style drink but feared that it was going to be more sour than a standard Yakult because of the cold brew and after explaining the flavor profile thoroughly, I opted for a safer drink that I've had before. Their banana milk latte. I'm a caffeine addict and this was a good pick me up. Not super strong and didn't zute me immediately, but this is perfect for those slow release caffeine people who like to sip on their drinks. Perfect banana milk taste after mixing and a perfect coffee for me, not too bitter or sour lol. There's outlets at the tables near the window and lots of places to sit down and hang out. Plenty of parking but it can get busy since a lot of people are in the plaza to go to 99 Ranch or the other businesses (restaurants, shopping, tea, etc.) but also everyone hates parking at the plaza across the street so they're parking here and walking over haha... It's insane this used to be a Diamond Bakery. They've existed since the 70's and 80's and there's only 2 left in existence (Vegas and MPK). Really makes you think of the passage of time. ANYWAYS, there's a point system if you sign up with your phone number and an app where you can access deals, order ahead of time, send gifts, and they have special days each month!

Nice spongy texture with good amount of black sesame flavor. Hojicha Cold Foam Milk was good but thought it could've been little bit sweeter. Coco Hojicha Cloud was pretty good. The hojicha cream had good amount of sweetness and balanced well with the coconut water. Wintermelon Lemonade was refreshing although a bit sweeter than I expected. Unfortunately, it's a frugal, bland drink with tasteless, squishy boba. There's no tea flavor.... this drink tastes like tap water with milk. (Quick Note: If you don't request milk, they use powder.) I arrived at Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut) on Friday (around 12:24PM). The customer parking lot had plenty of spots. Parking is easy. Customers order at the counter or self-service kiosk. Staff is welcoming, laid back, and helpful. My drink took about three minutes. Quick. As mentioned, I disliked the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea ($4.75) w/ Whole Milk (75 cents) and Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). It tastes like "nothing." The flavor of watered-down milk and water jello balls encapsulates its flavor profile. The boba was not bouncy; rather, the texture resembles deflated marshmallows. However, the lovely ambiance at Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut) is the ONLY reason why the review score is so high. Despite the awful, frugal drinks, this business is a college student's hidden paradise. The location is very clean, calming, and comfortable. There's about 15 tables, and there's about 8 electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; the details are on a small card at the counter. This location also has a self-service water station and a gender neutral restroom. Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut) is also decorated lovingly. I appreciated the book aesthetic and the hanging leaves. It's also very quiet inside. The location felt like a well-ventilated, comfy library. If searching for a study spot, this is such an easy recommendation. Overall, I had a mixed experience at Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut). The location is a cozy, creative study/work spot, but the tea is very bland, poorly made, and unmemorable. This business screams wasted potential.
