I ordered two Vietnamese Ice Coffees. Nova Lox Bagel or Croissant - smoked salmon, slivered red onions, tomato, cream cheese, & capers. I ordered it on a everything bagel). First off, their bagels are slightly bigger than other places. The bagel was nicely toasted and made compactly. The ingredients didn't fall out as you took a bite out of your sandwich. So you could enjoy each bite with all the flavors and freshness this sandwich was supposed to offer you. Well done! I'd get this again.

I didn't get to take any pictures of the donuts because that's how fast I inhaled them service is quick and easy, good vibes We were in search of a good blueberry donut in SJ and I think we found our spot! We have cravings for it ever since we had it countless of times when we lived in Socal, and we wanted to look for a donut shop up here too. Donut Basket had a variety of options and freshly made! The display and store was very organized, clean and welcoming. We got a few donut holes and a red velvet donut to try also. I always recommend heating up blueberry donuts for a few seconds because it's essentially a cake texture. I can actually taste the blueberry bits and it wasn't too sweet. Perfect with a glass of milk. The red velvet is similar in that sense too and also good. Donut holes were great so I'll forsure have to get a glazed donut next time :) Fun fact; My parents used to come here when the first Target opened on Landess, so it was nice for my mom to know that this place is still around!

This small but mighty donut shop is in the same center as Seafood City and across the street from the side of Target. It's between Park Victoria and Landess in Milpitas (Closer to highway 680) I'm so delighted I tasted there donuts when a box was shared with me. The box was filled with sugar donuts, glazed donuts, cronuts, apple fritter, bear claws, donut bars and Ube glazed cake donuts. I never ever liked cake donuts but the donut part of the cake donut changed my mind. It was still moist and flavorful. The glaze is a bit sweet, but I can overlook that bc it was that good. Beautiful purple glaze on top. The Cronuts (a croissant layered square donut) was thick, multi layered and kinda messy to enjoy, but worth the mess. I beleive one was glazed and the other maple. There are more for me to knock of my checklist to enjoy. The other donuts all were yeast based and all of these sweet goodies endured the most softest, tastiest and airy fried donut. unfortunately I've had other yeast donuts that had an off putting after taste, a little denser or the bread part was way too sweet. I've also had there breakfast sandwiches, which is made when ordered. I enjoyed sausage and egg croissant and a smoked salmon bagel. Both fresh, very warm and just the right size (I usually enjoy 1/2 for a satisfying breakfast and the other half for a light lunch). Service was swift, approachable, friendly and attentive. Kudos for starting so early in the morning at 5am. Also, Plenty of shared center parking lot. Highly recommend if you ask me :)

I do not normally get donuts, but the donuts here were so soft and fluffy. I came around 11am which is pretty late for donuts, but was surprised that they still have a big selection of donuts. The ladys were really nice and answered my questions about the type of donuts. The inside does not have a-lot of seating. The price was pretty cheap, i got 3 donuts and 2 custard filled donut holes and the total was 7.95. Definitely will come back when i need to get more donuts.

Friendly staff that greeted you right when you enter. My Family and I did a little pitstop to this donut shop one morning. I could tell that the cronut holes were the most popular because they didn't have a lot left! There was also a man that came out with a huge box of them lol. The donuts were light and fluffy. I ordered a few cronuts which is a hybrid of a croissant and donut. My absolute favorite because of how though yet flaky it can be! We also each had our own fresh coffee to dip our donuts in. I got a number 6, half dozen custard filled donut holes, half dozen raspberry jam filled donut holes, glazed donut, and coconut juice for about $18. The service was fast and friendly. The two workers made the environment comfy. They had a wide range of drinks to offer. The prices for the drinks seemed extremely reasonable. The sandwich I got was a sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich. The bacon was cooked to perfection while the eggs had the perfect texture. The donuts were delicious and fluffy. All in all my bf and I will most definitely be coming back in for our morning tweet tooth adventures.

I needed pink donuts and they had a variety of donuts. From sprinkles to glazed to mochi donuts. I appreciate the owner bringing out a fresh tray of pink glazed. Plus they have different shapes, added a nice aesthetic to the theme I'm going for.

I have been going to Donut Basket for a long time now. It is open early and close to where I live which is perfect for buying donuts for work. (Food) Great selection of Donuts, Donut Holes and Cronuts (Croissant Donuts) and Cronut Holes (can be ordered with filling). They also serve sandwiches with different variations of croissants and sausages. (My Usual Order) -Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissant Sandwich -Vietnamese Ices Coffee -Assorted Donuts and Donut Holes (Verdict) Highly recommend and is a local staple in Milpitas for all your morning breakfast needs. The staff are welcoming and you get to know them as you visit more often. Great stop over before going to work.

Was looking for a good breakfast sandwich and this place was exactly what I was looking for. I don't know why anyone goes to McDonalds when places like this exist. $7 after tax, the scrambled egg is moist but not undercooked, sausage is good and you get two big pieces, and cheese is properly melted. I would take one of these over 100 McDogshit any day.

It'd be a 3.5, actually. The store was semi- clean - had boxes and some inventory out in plain sight. The service was great: friendly and fast. We tried 6 of the cronut holes - see pics. First time I've tried them, so nothing to compare them to. But, based on the taste and texture, I think it could have been flakier and probably could've used more butter. The Thai tea was a bit too sweet and too milky for me at least . I was hoping for a stronger tea taste. Other than that, I'd give it another chance and try other food items.

I'm not the biggest fan of donuts, but I will absolutely get a donut from this shop! I'm a sucker for some custard, and something about their custard filled donuts are just heavenly!! The staff is friendly and always welcoming. Last time I came in I decided to try a cronut and cronut holes. They were absolutely delish and super unique, I'd never had one before! Overall, I'd highly highly recommend this donut shop. You can really tell the quality of their donuts. I am not a fan of donuts by any means, but will always stop by here for a donut.

I love Donut Basket! It's a mom-and-pop shop, and the couple are very nice. I love all their donuts, but my soft spot is for the donut holes, with a slight preference for the glazed over the power-sugared one. My favorite items, though? Their croissant sandwiches. The spicy hotdog ones are great for a bit of punch, the bacon one is good if you want a bit of crunch, the turkey and ham ones are a bit softer and gentler to munch. All in all, very delicious array of breakfast foods. read more

I've been eating donuts from here for as long as I can remember. My dad would always pick up a batch of donuts and a bag of donut holes for my sister and I when we were kids; or if we were lucky, we got to go with him to pick our own. Soft yummy donuts with a glass of milk, it was a Saturday morning tradition. Through all these years I still love coming to this donut spot. I'll come here every now and pick up a dozen or a box of donut holes for a group outing. The prices have definitely gone up from the good ol' days, but I would much rather buy a fresh batch of donuts here than Safeway or Lucky's. The quality of taste is much better. Also a plus, the owners always sneaks in a few extra donut holes! Once in awhile when my dad stops by the Donut Basket with me, the owners will remember his face and chat it up. Super cute and I'm glad this little donut shop is still up and running. read more

He score for this place speaks for itself. One thing you don't see in the score is heart warming and personal service. No matter if you've been eating here for years as your donut and coffee is wanting for you from the moment you open the door to walking in for the first time they'll treat you like family. I hate that I don't work in San Jose anymore because this would always be my stop before heading to the office. I love this donut shop because they're the only ones that I know of that make the French Cruellers. You know, the light, airy, swirly donut, that almost looks like a crown and is either coated with a regular glaze, chocolate or vanilla glaze. The people that run the place are pretty nice too. They always sneak in a couple donut holes in my bag! The Donut Basket will always be one of my fond memories of battling that morning weekday traffic into San Jose! :) read more

I love this place. I've been coming here since I was really little and it's my favorite donut shop. I love their chocolate bar donuts and I usually request for it to be filled with custard. Sometimes I get their ham, cheese, and egg croissant which is also really good. It's better than Burger King breakfast and it's healthier and cheap. I like supporting this donut shop because the owners have always been so kind to me. I recommend you try any donut filled with the custard. The custard is delicious! read more

So I was craving donuts and I needed help from my fellow Yelpers. Came across this gem, albeit a bit far for me. I have Christy's Berry one down the street. But woah. I loved their donuts. I did ask the lady to charge me for a custard filled donut hole because I have never had one before and I was feeling adventurous. I did not love it, but they are a bit bigger than the regular donut holes and tasted way better! I also got an egg and cheese croissant sandwich and I liked it, the egg was a bit crunchy in some parts. I kept thinking I had shells, but it was like the sides of an omelet. Still a bit distracting.. I will definitely come back. They take card with no spending limit necessary!! That is always a plus. read more

I've tried going to this place on 3 separate occasions, and each time they were closed. Even though it was during hours they were supposed to be open. Three strikes and your out. I'm done trying to give this place my business. If you want to close early, then maybe you should change your hours of operation read more

In summary-- Donuts: yummy! I like the donut holes and chocolate ones. Don't like the big maple glazed one I had, somwhow it was with a greasy/oily taste that day. Service: professional and fast. The lady didn't smile much but she was nice and she gave me extra donut holes. Pastry: Don't try crossiant! Even I can do better than this. Strawberry and blueberry danish are good. read more

I go here almost every week and all I can say is that this is one of my favorite places to get donuts. It's cheap and delicious. I always get the donut holes. It's $1.50 for a dozen! And when I'm feeling something on the savory side, i would often get the ham and cheese croissant. The owners are an elderly couple and they are so sweet and generous. My favorite place to get donuts in Milpitas. They also have good croissants/croissants sandwiches and milk tea (if you need a milk tea fix at 7am). I think dozen donuts are 10.50$. They have delicious filled donut holes and they always give extra donut holes in your order. They're the best! read more

I've passed by this place a couple of times, but was really craving a donut today. Got a dozen custard filled donut holes for $3.50, which is pretty good! the donut holes are filled when you order them so it's not just sogging up the donut holes. I decided to give the lady a one dollar tip, and she immediately took my bag and gave me 4 free regular donuts! the donuts are also pretty good. it's not TOO sweet, which I enjoy. definitely will come back! read more

The price and freshness of these donuts make them 5 star worthy. Coming from the East Coast where work donuts typically are from Dunkin (gross), these are a huge upgrade when they show up in the break room. The apple fritters are out of this world! Get yourself one even if you're not typically a fritter person. read more

Swung by one morning before work to get their famous "custard-filled donut holes". I would say it's EH-OK. Friendly service. The donut itself was tasty, but the custard was lacking some flavor. The lady who works here is so sweet and always gives you extra donut holes no matter how many donuts you order. Inexpensive and delicious! I give this place 4.5 Stars. I've been coming here for years now and I have no complaints about their service nor quality of donuts! My most favorite are their donut holes! Perfect one bit size filled with goodness! Their Cinnamon, glaze and just about everything they have on the menu are good and fresh. The dough are soft and made daily. This is my go to place when I crave donuts. Sad to say that I don't come here as often as I use to because of my change of career but whenever I get a chance during the weekend, I'll do a quick stop and pick up some of their goodies. sometimes, when you come here late in the morning, the owner will throw in some free donuts :) or if you come here often enough for her to remember you, she'll also throw in extra donut holes!!! he he can't complain with that. My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to the neighborhood 3 years ago and we love their donuts. The glazes are all really good. The chocolate and maple glaze both have a lot of flavor and isn't just sweet. Good fluffy dough as well. Our favorite by far are the frenched donuts, if you get there around 7am they're fresh and hot and sooo good. They also have cream cheese croissants and blueberry cream cheese danishes which are amazing. read more

I love this donut shop! Been coming here for years and they still have the best donuts! I usually come here for their donut holes, they're my favorite. They don't overload the glaze on the donut holes, so it tastes just right. I even like their ham & cheese croissant; which I can make myself, but doesn't taste as good. read more

I Love this place!!! Donuts are fluffy and service is awesome. The lady that watches this store is always very pleasant everytime I have been there and she always gives me free donut holes with every purchase of a box of donuts. Parking is easy... I`m in and out in less than 5 minutes. read more

Very friendly couple who run the shop & very generous with throwing free donut holes to your order. They got me addicted to them! I am not a big fan of donuts. Came here first time for class pot luck and the second times was my turn to bring food to workplace. Wonder if that was because I came here around 4 or 5 so they sold most of their donuts, I did not have so many choices. The lady who runs this place is super sweet, she always hook me up with 2 extra donuts. Unlike other small, Asian places, this place accepts credit card which make me feel really happy to shop here. read more

Donuts here are always fresh. Once in a while, I'll drop by, pick up a few donuts and donut holes to bring home for my family. Check out the Apple flitters, old fashion donuts, etc... they are yummy. You can get bagels and sandwiches there as well. A couple of friendly people behind the counter to starts your day! Definitely 4 stars from me read more

I'd give them 3 stars based purely on the donuts, but the customer service is always on point. The sweet old lady and her husband are always extremely courteous and generous in terms of quantity. They always make sure to add a few extra donuts in there for me. As for the quality of the donuts? They fulfill your needs for donuts. read more

Their large iced coffee is over $5, when you can get the same thing for $0.99 from McDonald's (use the deal in the app). The rewards system for Dunkin isn't that great. There are rarely any daily deals. Their "best" one is to get a $6 breakfast combo, which is a medium coffee (not even a large), some breakfast entree, and their little hashbrown bites. It appears they do have better selections of different drinks though. The employees are chill, though sometimes they don't really interact with customers or even announce orders when they're ready for in-store pickup. They'll literally just leave it on the counter and walk away without saying anything. I don't even know what Dunkin's west coast strategy is. They get beat out on pricing by just about anyone, and their offerings aren't unique.

I grew up eating Stan's Donuts so I don't say this lightly but this donut shop seriously rivals them. Their donuts are super soft and moist, never dry. Even if I leave one in the bag overnight on the counter, it still tastes fresh the next day, not stale at all. My favorites are the original glazed, chocolate with sprinkles, and the classic glazed. They're honestly hard to beat. The other flavors are great too, but there's just something about those three that hits different. Easily the best I've had in north San Jose. They also have a bunch of sandwiches if you're in the mood for something savory. If you're in the North San Jose area definitely give this place a try. read more
