This is the mom and pop donut shop that I grew up with and I don't dare to go to another spot (unless I'm desperate). I've been a regular here as small as I can remember. It pains me to say this but I haven't had much disappointments here until today. I ordered my regular bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. I got home and found sharp metal pieces underneath. It was completely inedible. I could have had these pieces stuck in my throat. Of course before posting, I called the shop to warn them and explain to them that they should check their microwave or their trays. I told them I could send them pictures of what I was talking about for them to better understand what happened and I said I didn't want to put this on Yelp. I was upset with how they handled the situation because they didn't seem too worried about what happened so here I am. They apologized but said they clean their microwaves everyday. I mean, I'm sure they do but just their response and the way they handled it was disappointing like they didn't care that something dangerous could've happened to their customers.
