This small but mighty donut shop is in the same center as Seafood City and across the street from the side of Target. It's between Park Victoria and Landess in Milpitas (Closer to highway 680) I'm so delighted I tasted there donuts when a box was shared with me. The box was filled with sugar donuts, glazed donuts, cronuts, apple fritter, bear claws, donut bars and Ube glazed cake donuts. I never ever liked cake donuts but the donut part of the cake donut changed my mind. It was still moist and flavorful. The glaze is a bit sweet, but I can overlook that bc it was that good. Beautiful purple glaze on top. The Cronuts (a croissant layered square donut) was thick, multi layered and kinda messy to enjoy, but worth the mess. I beleive one was glazed and the other maple. There are more for me to knock of my checklist to enjoy. The other donuts all were yeast based and all of these sweet goodies endured the most softest, tastiest and airy fried donut. unfortunately I've had other yeast donuts that had an off putting after taste, a little denser or the bread part was way too sweet. I've also had there breakfast sandwiches, which is made when ordered. I enjoyed sausage and egg croissant and a smoked salmon bagel. Both fresh, very warm and just the right size (I usually enjoy 1/2 for a satisfying breakfast and the other half for a light lunch). Service was swift, approachable, friendly and attentive. With so many donuts shops to choose from Donut Basket is on my go to list along with Christy's Donuts for service and price. Been coming out here for the past six years loved their custard holes, breakfast croissants can't never passed up on Vietnamese or Thai iced coffee. Not too busy on a Saturday morning always greeted with a friendly and attentive staff. Chose a half a dozen of creamy custard holes price at $3.50 and Thai iced coffee for $5.75 Interior is quite small limited dine-in seating. I was nearby at Target picking up some items and wanted to bring home a treat to my hubby. So I saw that Donut Basket and decided that's perfect! I saw their apple fritter and it looked amazing. I ordered and paid by cash and service was quick as usual as there wasn't many folks here except one other couple that was here before me. Inside was fairly spacious and did have some areas to sit if you wanted to sit and partake in your goods. But it's definitely more a take and go. I ordered two Vietnamese Ice Coffees. Nova Lox Bagel or Croissant - smoked salmon, slivered red onions, tomato, cream cheese, & capers. I ordered it on a everything bagel). First off, their bagels are slightly bigger than other places. The bagel was nicely toasted and made compactly. The ingredients didn't fall out as you took a bite out of your sandwich. We have cravings for it ever since we had it countless of times when we lived in Socal, and we wanted to look for a donut shop up here too. Donut Basket had a variety of options and freshly made! The display and store was very organized, clean and welcoming. We got a few donut holes and a red velvet donut to try also. I always recommend heating up blueberry donuts for a few seconds because it's essentially a cake texture. I can actually taste the blueberry bits and it wasn't too sweet. Perfect with a glass of milk. The red velvet is similar in that sense too and also good. I do not normally get donuts, but the donuts here were so soft and fluffy. I came around 11am which is pretty late for donuts, but was surprised that they still have a big selection of donuts. The ladys were really nice and answered my questions about the type of donuts. The inside does not have a-lot of seating. Friendly staff that greeted you right when you enter. My Family and I did a little pitstop to this donut shop one morning. The two workers made the environment comfy. They had a wide range of drinks to offer. The prices for the drinks seemed extremely reasonable. The sandwich I got was a sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich. The bacon was cooked to perfection while the eggs had the perfect texture. The donuts were delicious and fluffy. I recall coming here years before and not being impressed enough to give up my childhood donut shop, but wanted to give it a try when I saw the pictures of cronuts. My first visit--I got quite a variety of goodies which received compliments from my friends. The sausage, egg, and cheese on jalapeno bagel with the added jalapenos was delicious and filling. The bagel was fluffy and had a comfortable chew. Sometimes I find other bagels a little bit too chewy for me. The chocolate cronut and cronut holes I gifted were enjoyed by my friends. I also enjoyed the glazed cronut as my afternoon snack with some warm tea which helped as it was sweet. Fast forward to this week I went back again to try the cronut holes and the breakfast sandwich on croissant. The filling was equally delicious, but I think I prefer the bagel over the croissant to help cushion all the eggs, meat, and cheese. We were working on the power so they didn't open til a few hours after regular opening time. Great place for donuts. I usually come here for the Cronuts as they are the only place nearby that has them. I occasionally get a dozen for my coworkers and they tend to like them more than regular donuts. Personally I feel like the maple flavor pairs best with the croissant dough. Breakfast sandwiches are decent and there is a good variety. Vietnamese coffee is my go to if i decide to not go down the street for Starbucks. Been coming to this doughnut shop for a few occasions, never realized that I haven't left a review yet! Came in around 7:30 to purchase 3 dozen doughnuts before my daughter went to school. It was doughnut day and we volunteered to bring the refreshments for her class. We arrived and there were two customers ahead of us. They were rung up fairly quickly. We ordered 1 dozen sprinkle doughnuts that came in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. We also order 2 additional doughnuts that were variety, one for her class and the other for the office admin ladies. The ladies helping us were all very kind, positive and extremely helpful. They even loved seeing the doughnut costume that my daughter wore. Overall we had an amazing experience like we do most mornings! The doughnuts are always fresh and delicious. I have also tried the croissant sandwiches in the last and they never disappoint. Always a pleasure seeing the lovely ladies at the counter.
