I'd like to say something about this company's service, but since they have yet to get back to me, I can only surmise that they aren't interested in doing business with me or that they are so busy they simply don't care. After initiating contact with them through Yelp (which I had to do TWICE to get them to respond at all), I was notified that they were "waiting to hear from me" about my project. As a result of this notice, I called and spoke to Holly. I explained I had made my contact to their company through Yelp and was calling to get further information. She said that she needed to talk to the individual who handles the Yelp transactions and either she (Holly) or the other person would return my call "in just a few minutes." That was yesterday, shortly after noon. Nothing further. The reason I had contacted them to begin with was due to their good reviews through Yelp. I hired them a few months ago when our A/C stopped working. I contacted them about our broken air conditioner late afternoon, and they were out here within an hour or so and had it fixed quickly. Done Rite is terrific. I contacted them regarding replacement of a Federal Pacific Panel on my house that I recently purchased. They responded promptly to my inquiry, and sent someone out the same day...on a SUNDAY! Jordan was very professional and kind. He thoroughly explained how they would replace the panel and the work they would do. He also explained that it would be a slightly lengthy procedure so that I would not be surprised that it would be taking some time to complete due to permits and inspections and everything that needed to be completed. He finished up with emailing me a copy of the price quote and explaining that to me as well. I ended up paying the deposit to initiate the work that day because I was so impressed by the professionalism displayed by this company and everyone I contacted. About a week later, I had an issue with my AC not blowing cold air, and I contacted Done Rite again. This was also on a weekend, and they sent Jordan out again. He arrived promptly, fixed it fast, and considered it a nuisance call since it was or could be considered related to the panel I'm having them replace! Two experiences with Done Rite services: an HVAC story and a plumbing tale. We had to think about getting our furnace ready for use, and our HVAC firm had sold its business to Done Rite. so we decided to try them. The HVAC Tech came. inspected the furnace, replaced the batteries in the control unit and said all was well with the HVAC and furnace but there were other problems. A galvanized pipe was corroded and starting to leak, so we needed to replace it. He charged a reasonable rate and said he would tell the office to get us an estimate on the plumbing problem. Two days later, a plumber of theirs shows up, I expected to get an estimate. Instead, he started working the job (I wondered why the estimate was taking so long). The cost for replacing a 12 inch piece of pipe was over $400., which seems overly high. read more

Last month, Nov. 2020, I determined that it was time to replace my 23 year old gas furnace. A friend of mine referred me to Done Rite Services. Her AC died on her this summer, during the 110 degree week. Her son called Done Rite Services and they responded with a portable AC, ordered a new AC, and installed it all in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. My friend was so pleased with their service, she referred me to Done Rite Services. I called their number and Todd returned my call within 15 min. I discussed briefly what I needed. He was able to dispatch a call to Dustin to meet me at my house that day. Dustin arrived within a half hour, wearing a mask, and was very friendly and professional. He asked me what I needed and then discussed equipment options and installation process. He walked my house, checking vents, air flow, electrical box, and the roof. Todd arrived with a mask, in addition, to also walk the project. Both of these gentleman were great to work with. Dustin provided me a detailed email proposal for the size and type of furnace in a timely manner. By the way, the price was very competitive. Once I approved it, we scheduled the installation date. Dustin arrived on time, removed the old furnace and installed the new furnace quickly and efficiently. He reviewed how to use the new digital thermostat and provided me the new equipment manual. He assured me that he would register the furnace for warranty information for me and he did. He emailed me the registered paperwork. I can only say how awesome it is to work with a company and its employees that provides excellent follow through, and friendly and professional service. My address is incorrect on this site. I live in Tucson, AZ. Two weeks ago I had an issue with low water pressure in my home, and after talking with a neighbor who had used Done Rite, I gave them a call. Within a couple of days, Danny came over with his helper, Dillon. They were both professional, reliable, and competent. After diagnosing the regulator as the source of the problem, Danny got right to work and replaced it immediately. For the faucet in the kitchen, they had to order several parts, and in about a week, Danny was back to repair that along with my toilet in the bathroom, which was running incessantly with phantom flushing. I was really caught off guard with his competency and friendliness. It just seems "they" don't make 'em like him any more. If I have any more plumbing issues, I will definitely call Done Rite again. He is an asset to his company, and I would highly recommend him without hesitating. And even more amazing was that the price was right. We have an old house that was built by a man, who did things like no one else. As a result, every time we need to get something repaired, it's like a puzzle......nothing is ever easy. We had spent quite a lot with a plumber, trying to get our toilet working, with no luck. So I looked on line for some good reviews and decided to try Done Right. They sent one man out (he was so nice) and he said he was going to call out a different person, who was THE MAN, when it came to strange issues. That man came out a couple of hours later and he was able to get it working. The thing that impressed me was that there was no charge for the first man and the 2nd man, Danny Sharp was able to figure out the issue and charged me with a very reasonable fee. Called Done Rite after installing a new smart switch proved to be outside of my electrical expertise. Rather than insisting on coming out and charging me to fix my half complete amateur work, they gave me advice over the phone to complete the job. When I still couldn't get it right after that, they came out in a timely manner and quickly fixed the issue and completed the installation of the new switch. I had to have my 110v fuse box upgraded with a 220v wiring and wall outlet for a new air conditioner I bought. I live in an older home and I figured the job might be difficult. There is no crawl space and the slight opening between my floor and the next is blocked with boards all across the ceiling. A couple of companies declined the job. One accepted the job but never showed up. When I called Done Rite, Todd came to my place and accessed the situation. He assured me that he could do the job. When his crew came a couple of days later they had the difficulty I expected. But they stuck with it until they got the job done. With very little structural damage to my ceiling. And they were professional and courteous the entire time. It has been a week now and I have had no problems with the work they've done. When I need more electrical work done I won't hesitate to call Done Rite Services again. read more

Let me start with saying that customer services through their call center or front office/dispatch was great, I believe I spoke with Lindsay (might have that wrong). Yesterday, I called and left a VM to schedule an appointment after my tenant let me know there was some plumbing or drainage issue. I received a call first thing this morning and we were able to get a tech scheduled right away for the same day to provide an estimate. I asked if they had a morning availability, they didn't so she booked me for an afternoon appointment for the same day but she was going to make a note to see if the tech could go earlier in case he had a cancellation. Tech arrived couple hours early, which was great! However, this is were customer service went downhill... Tech did his inspection and let my tenant know it would be $300+ to put a snake through due to a clogging issue which then my tenant called me to let me know what was happening. I wanted to speak to the tech directly to avoid the third party communication through my tenant as this is what was happening after the inspection including discussion regarding cost of service. At that point, I wanted to see if the tech could call and explain to me directly about what was going on and not through my tenant as I am the one seeking the service, not my tenant. My tenant let me know that the tech said he wasn't going to call me and he was going to put the snake through and began removing the toilet. I called the office due to I had not approve the $300 service before seeing the estimate or at least speaking with someone first to see what was going on. The office person I got was extremely sweet, called the tech due to as I had explained first, I wanted to see the estimate or at least speak with him first to better understand what was happening. Few minutes later, I received a message from my tenant saying the tech was rude and angry after the office had called him and told her that even if I approved the estimate, he was not going to go back. My tenant was understandably upset due to the interaction at no fault of her own because there should have been no third party communication regarding cost of service other than communication on ETA of the tech with her. I called the office to let them know what happened and again, the office staff who answer was completely sweet and apologized, even offered to send me a revised estimate with a new tech. After the initial interaction, I decided to go with another company who was around the same price. The issue was never the cost of service, it was more the lack of customer service and unprofessionalism from the tech which led my tenant to feel uncomfortable with how mad he was for me requesting a call and explanation of what was going on regarding the plumbing issue before he continued with providing the service. I understand everyone has off days and from the reviews this seems like a great company. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with one of their techs, however, once again the office person I spoke with was great and understanding. read more

I called Monday and was given an appointment for Tuesday between 2 and 4. No one came on Tuesday and when I called them at 4, they said they had to cancel the appointment because they were stuck at an emergency job in Picture Rock. I rescheduled for the next available, and the person on the phone said it would be " tomorrow between 4 and 6. " Again no one showed up, and after various attempts, I was finally able to speak to a person who said the appointment was for Thursday between 4 and 6. I gave up trying to get their service and suggested that they put on their web site that they do not service the Southside of Tucson. Instead they schedule them for the end of the day and then just blow them off because I guess our money is worthless. I say this because anyone living on our side of town has experienced this type of bad service and we know why. read more

I needed a sink fixed as it was clogged. Danny called me within the same day as when I started my plumber inquires and scheduled a time to come over! He was very pleasant and even called me prior to arriving to let me know he was on the way (which was much appreciated as I have dogs and wanted to put them away before his arrival). After looking at me sink, he was able to get the bottle cap for a travel sized shampoo bottle out of the pipes (whoops lol) and didn't even charge for the effort! After that, he also took a look at a couple of things that I'm working on, and discovered a few previously unknown situations (thank you danny!).
