The yearly inspection of our new furnace and a/c split system was requested this morning and was set for 1-3 pm. William Cohen texted us at 12:41 to let us know he was on his way, then at 12:45 he called us verbally to let us know he was on his way and about 20 minutes out. He arrived a few minutes after 1:00. We initially explained a concern that we've had with the fan/furnace unit. When it was installed a year ago the fan was entremely loud, so the tech lowered thefan speed from 5 to 4 which was still pretty loud, especially considering that both my wife and I have hearing issues and blasting the tv when the furnace for cooling was running. William explained the issue and equipment concerns if the fan was not put at a proper speed for technical reasons and needed to check it out. William was very methodical and thorough in his approach to fix our concern. The thermostat was checked to find it needed new batteries, so I gave him two AA batteries. We went through the program and set it for what we needed. He then looked over the furnace and agreed that the fan on cooling was rather loud. I had recently installed French bifold doors with 1/2 louvers in hopes of baffling the sound to minimal effect, sorry to say! Finding no issues with the furnace and hog hair filter we moved on to the a/c unit. William found the thermostat wire outside not protected from hungry rodents, very observant of him, I appreciate that! He then disconnected the system power and installed a flex conduit line topnotch the wiring. Completing that he looked around the a/c wiring supply and noticed there was no surge protection which he then installed. Finally ready to check our fan noise issue, he put the fan speed down to 3 and checked every supply air register to make sure there was sufficient air flow which all passed. He then set up many thermometers to test for proper ait temp drop from supply and return. Outside he used his lineset to check refrigerent pressures and line temperatures all to his satisfaction. The ability to run the fan on 3 without degrading the equipment was proven to be effective. William is very personable, proactive, apparently very well trained, experienced, thorough in his methodical approach, communicates effectively and has a grand sense of humor. I myself am a retired maintenance electrician, pipe fitter and worked commercially on boilers and HVAC systems, so service work was my livelihood. William is an awesome efficient worker, knows what he is doing and a great asset for Done Rite Services. Thank you for sending him to do our Servicing. From a happy customer. I want to share some of my experience with Cary and TODD YARNES at Done Rite. My a/c went out in August. I called to see if I could get an estimate. I spoke to Cary who said Todd would be out that day - within 4 hours. Same day appointment. Unheard of in this heat with a/c people. Todd and I talked a bit on the phone where he explained a few things to me. I told him I would be in a teleconference when he came, and my daughter would not let him in the house unless he yelled at the door he was Todd with the a/c company. Next thing I know, I receive a text Todd is on his way, with a picture of him!!! Total score. I showed the picture to my daughter and told her THIS was the person she could let in. I was in my teleconference and I heard a man yelling near our house "THIS IS TODD WITH DONE RITE." I could hear my daughter let him in and show him where the unit was. I'm not sure how long it was, maybe 15-20 minutes. I heard Todd tell my daughter he was leaving. I guess my daughter didn't get up off the couch to lock the door. So Todd told her again he was leaving. She got up to let him out and I heard him hanging around the door - making sure she locked up. In most cases, having your a/c out in the middle of summer is stressful. People IN and out of your house, around your house, ect. Todd didn't have to take care of my daughter and make sure she locked up; but he did. He cared. This is a man I would want in my home. That night Todd sent me two estimates. They were the best priced. I know they do good work because a neighbor had his a/c installed with them about 2 years ago (and worked with Todd). The neighbor is/was more than pleased with them. I regret I was not able to give DONE RITE my a/c business. It had nothing to do with their pricing, experience or personel. I was unable to do business with Done Rite because of an error I made. In the future, I will call Done Rite for my a/c and plumbing needs. read more

We were having trouble getting consistent hot water to our shower. We called DoneRite to get a quote for a tankless water heater. Danny came out and adjusted our shower allowing for more range to the hot water. He also answered some questions about reverse osmosis systems and water softeners (he never charged us for the visit and work). We talked about the benefits of perhaps installing a tankless on-demand hot water system. After reviewing the location of our water lines and drains, Danny suggested a non-condensing tankless water heater. Unfortunately there were some mixups between parts that were ordered and parts that were delivered. Danny came back to install the new water heater but noticed it didn't have a re-circulation feature which he ordered. He had another tankless water heater on the truck that did have one but was a "condensing" style unit (more efficient than non-condensing and more expensive). Danny offered to install the new, more efficient unit at no extra charge. He also installed a condensate neutralizer and condensate pump to pump the condensate up to a drain in the roof since we didn't have access to a drain in the garage where the water heater was located (again at no extra charge). After installation we noticed a very small leak in the condensate line and called DoneRite. Todd was sent out immediately to assess the situation and suggested we hide all the plumbing behind the drywall so we don't have a bunch of copper lines showing and to allow for a straighter line for the condensate pipe. Todd thought this would look much nicer. He came back with Vidal and they reinstalled the water heater with all the plumbing behind the wall. THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ANYTHING FOR THIS! I used Done Rite Services again. This time for the removing of my tankless hot water heater and my furnace/air handler from the utility closet they are located in so that some mold remediation experts could have the space they needed to address a mold issue in the closet (this mold was preexisting. I just bought this house six months ago). Long story short, the mold issue got fixed. However, the work that Robert and Matt from Done Rite Services did in removing the water heater and furnace from the closet and then putting them back in after the mold problem was fixed was top notch. Their customer service was excellent and their knowledge/workmanship in their trade is spot on as well. There was an electrical issue I was having in the utility closet (not caused by them. It was occurring long before they even ever stepped foot in my house). Anyways, they were able to get that resolved for me as well. I've used Done Rite twice so far and both times the customer service and work have been top notch. Thank you Done Rite and Thank you Robert and Matt! Update to my update: So a little while after Robert and Matt left the AC stopped working. It was no longer cooling off, but inside was actually getting warmer. I called the Done Rite office and let them know. They sent another Technician out in just a little over an hour. His name was Carlos and he diagnosed the problem in less than five minutes. The condensation line was clogged. He fixed the problem quickly and even went the extra mile and screwed in some chicken wire around the openings in the outside unit to prevent the pack rats from getting in. I am very Happy to say that Done Rite Services is a Wonderful Company to work with. We have been using EMMCo for the entire time of owning our home (15+ years) Always reliable and friendly. Before the Holiday's our heating began to act up and we knew it was time to replace the entire system. One phone call to the office and the appointment was set. Jordan Benjamin came out and spent time explaining options and what would be done to replace and upgrade our system. Within a week the installers   Brandon McSpadden, Kasey, Isaiah Cotroneo arrived. They explained what would take place over the next 3 days. This could have been a disaster because we have 4 dogs but they were very accommodating. With very few hiccups my system was installed to my satisfaction. I have to say not one piece of wire, tape or a bit of dust was left behind. Each one of the crew was very respectful of my home and the most professional group of young men. I am not the easiest to deal with because I have lots of questions. I ordered a new over the range microwave from Home Depot and requested installation. When HD came out they found the old microwave was hardwired into the electrical and couldn't do it. I called another electrician who came out and said they couldn't do it because they can't take the old microwave down. Called another electrician who told me over the phone they wouldn't take the old one down either. I called Done Rite and Todd came out to give me an estimate. He said they could take the old microwave, install an outlet and even install the new microwave! He scheduled the follow up appointment for me on the spot and told me they had a female electrician that would accompany him for the install. I am delighted that the company employs a female for a traditionally male dominated occupation. I received reminder notifications and Todd & Navaugh showed on time and had the work done in less than an hour & 1/2. I was extremely satisfied with the work and the price. I will definitely be using them for future projects and will be recommending them to my female friends who prefer a female techs!! read more

Done Rite truly does things right. I had an existing swamp cooler in a rental I have. Well it finally went out and I was looking to upgrade to an ac. Todd came out to give me a quote he answered all of my questions. First off Done Rite is extremely competitive with pricing. I needed my panel upgraded and even with that Done Rite was still cheaper. Marcos came out to install the ac and the job was done within the day. Since then my tenants have been happy. I have had the ac serviced since then with William, nothing but professional and efficient. The end of last year my hot water heater when out and who do I call Done Rite. Fortunately they were able to get someone out right away and it needed to be replaced the current one was 18 years old. Danny was the technician and I was able to get a new hot water heater within a few days! I have been able to enjoy hot showers with no issues. Everyone from Done Rite is extremely nice and personal. I always call Done Rite for home repairs and have had a lot of work done by them in the last couple of years. Their so easy to use because they're a one-stop shop. They provide experts from all areas of home repair/construction trades such as plumbing, electric, HVAC and construction services. From the office staff to the technician on the job they always impress me. The past year Dustin, Robert and Navah did the master bathroom overhaul, including tub conversion to walk in shower, new shower and floor tile, electrical and plumbing, yada, yada. They were superb. Today Ryan and Angel came out to change a broken shut off valve. Ryan explained everything to me clearly so I could understand what needed to be done to bring the system up to date. Now there's a shiny, new copper line with a modern shut off valve. There are other areas of concern on the house exterior so while they were here Ryan was able to grab some pictures, make notes and initiate the referral to the expert who would be assigned to do an estimate for the work. We had 2 showers that are back to back that were draining very slow and filling into each other. We wanted it fixed sooner than later so left an online request with Done Rite and also on Yelp. 2 companies that had almost immediate openings said they would come out and give a free inspection. I figured it couldn't hurt. First company came out and siad it would cost almost $4k becuse it could not be cleaned out but needed to be replaced. 2nd company came out and offered to snake it for a fee, but did not guarantee anything. They chanrged me almost $200 then gave me a quote for $9k when they could not clear it. Matt Johnson from Done Rite was availible the next day and came out. He has done work for us in the past and we were happy with it. He ran into the same problems as the others, but knew how to work around everything and cleard our clogged drain for less than we paid to not get the drain cleared. VERY happy and kind of feel guilty (and poorer) we didn't just wait for him in the first place. read more

FIRST OFF I NEED TO THANK TOD AND DUSTIN FOR ALL THE INFORMATION PROVIDED TO ME DURING EACH OF THEIR VISITS. As a woman, you fear calling someone to come to your house and provide an estimate for a repair. The fear is real. Are they taking advantage of me? Are they going to over charge? So many thoughts run through your head, sometimes you bite the bullet because we don't know better. I am all about customer service, especially being a business owner myself. Tod came to the house to provide a second estimate because the first was outrageous, so thank you Tod! Dustin completed the work, provided information so that I could understand how my AC should work. Dustin also took a look at another possible job foe Dobe Rite. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I thought my tankless water heating and house heating "hydronic" system could not be repaired. I couldnt find anyone who spoke Rinai, let alone hydronic. But then I found Done Rite services. The minute the receptionist answered I could tell she spoke HVAC with all its permutations. I shared the fear that I would pay several hundred dollars, not get fixed and be back to gound zero. Have no fear she told me, Im sending you the man who installed these systems for the famous Ed Shanahan and he knows their anatomy from top to bottom. His name was William Cohen, and he was everything she promised. He took it apart an d pulled out all its organs, naming and cleaing each one, replacing a few of them and after maybe three hours put it all back together and to my happy surprise, it worked.
