Pic of my bowl that was thrown in the bag

I frequent the Hampton location more than this one now due the young lady with the glasses attitude. She has thrown my stuff in the bag both times that I have been there. I'm not sure if I look like another military person that has upset her in the past, but it's starting to feel personal now.

Waited forever for this place to open and finally got a chance to try it. Not a huge menu, and the poke bowl I got was pretty good. I wish they had the ability to add teriyaki chicken and beef to it, similar to a place I visited like this in Northern Va (I'm not a fan of the raw stuff, but I like everything else). My wife got the soup and said the noodles were not great as they were globbed together, and the chicken in it was rubbery, unfortunately. I'd try it again.

We out here like Ash Ketchum catching em all at Domoishi. Sooo many options to choose from and love how easy it is to order either pickup or delivery. Some of our faves: ⁃ Half Spicy Soy Garlic / Half Original Soy Garlic Wings ⁃ Spicy Tuna & Salmon Poke Bowl + all the fixings ⁃ Tonkotsu Ramen with Pork Chashu (and if you can handle heat they can make it extra spicy for ya) ⁃ Piña Strawberry Boba Tea & Matcha Berry Latte Boba Tea

    Poke Bowl - Pick 2

This is normally my go to place for Poke Bowls and I'd give 5 stars, but was really disappointed tonight as my dinner, looks half full, but is normally up to the top so much so that the nori sticks to the lid. It tastes great, just hoping this isn't what we'll get in the future.

Spicy Korean Style Wings, Beef Bulgogi Bun, Ramen Noodle. Congratulations for opening your doors again, I am happy about that! The wings were delicious, flavorful and that signature crispy texture. The Beef Bulgogi bun wasn't quite what I expected but it was still good with moderate amount of meat to bun ratio. With the lettuce on the side was fresh and balanced out the bun. The ramen was packaged well (to go) so that the noodles weren't soggy by serving time. I opted for the spicy tonkatsu broth and it didn't disappoint, the pork and extra egg went well with the broth.

This was the first time going to Domoishi. My son had been asking to try ramen for a few weeks until I finally just broke down and took him. For some reason I had it said in my mind for it to taste more like pho but didn't realize that the broth base was completely different. But what I did notice is that they had Korean chicken wings which I absolutely love! We used the computer ordering system off to your left when entering the restaurant. The restaurant is not that large itself most people do to go. We decided to go for dining in. My son opted for basic broth with only chicken and green onion. However I decided to go for the full Roman experience getting everything but the fish cake added to my ramen and I made it extra spicy. For our drinks my son was on a full experience and wanted to do the Boba and smoothie. I upset for the mixed fruit tea with extra ice no extra sugar and jellies. I also added the crunchy Korean wings. Our food was called rather quickly and we dug in my son absolutely loved his ramen but added an extra side of chili sauce that we got from the young man who rung us up. For me the ramen was not as flavorful as the pho. However I absolutely enjoyed the wings perfect crunch perfect taste and balance of sweetness and heat. I was also moved to get a second order of mixed fruit tea that had to be my favorite. As so much such the next day I went back and got another mixed fruit tea. For me the mix tea is better than that of Starbucks.

So I've been waiting for this place to open FOREVER. I'm glad that we finally have a poké spot on this side of the water. We stopped in and ordered through the kiosk. Food was ready in about 25ish mins...I did have a big order though. The poké was good---not the best I've had but certainly good enough to satisfy any midday poké cravings that I have. They also have takoyaki. Its good--not the best again, but good nonetheless. The boba tea needs work though. Overall, I'll be back. They have three of my favorite things: ramen, poké and takoyaki. Check out their menu. It is pretty extensive. But because they just opened, give them a chance to work out any kinks and let them find their battle rhythm. Good stuff.

I come home to find two hairs in the sushi, and the edamame was cold (may or may not be their thing). Immediately went back to show Sherry these pictures and she didn't really argue. I told her all of this was already thrown out. she turned to her higher up(a man seemingly to be the manager), spoke in a different language then turned back to me accepting to remake the entire order. I got my order back and the boss man was asked if he had anything to say and I watch him shake his head, arms crossed seemingly displeased with either his shop or with me coming back in, I couldn't tell you which it was. two stars because they complied with a remake... but I don't want to come back ever after this initial experience with losing my appetite and feeling unwelcomed trying to hold the restaurant accountable for a sanitary issue...

I had the Ebi (shrimp) curry ramen. The curry was very flavorful but different than both Jamaican and Indian curries. I don't like that they keep the tails on the shrimp even though it's in the ramen. I also had salmon rice balls as well as Shumai. The shumai was good and so were the rice balls, but never having had rice balls, they weren't what I was expecting. I expected them to have meat in them but it was just rice with salmon flavored powder. We also added hot green tea to our meal. While not anything special, I do like to end my meal this way. The service was pretty good but we didn't like that our waitress stood next to our table from the moment we sat down. We felt pressured to hurry up and order, and it just made things awkward. She was very attentive though. This restaurant is your typical local Japanese style restaurant. Very authentic in its feel and decor - nothing fancy, basic service. But if you like more authentic type dishes vs chain restaurants, I think this is a place to try! Oh, I will also add this place was alot less expensive than places like Domoishi! I give it a 3 star because I feel neutral about it - not because anything was super wrong about it!

Flow was consistent but not disruptive. Very clean and server was very attentive. Bathroom (women) was nicely decorated and clean; felt homey. Music not loud, but not dead silent either. I invited a friend who just came back from Taiwan. So wanted something Asian, but not Chinese. This was it! My new go to place for Ramen. Egg is my soup was on point with flavor! Almost ordered an extra but got extra broth instead. About that broth! It was full bodied, but definitely not pasty. The chili oil made even more robust and carried the soup ingredients well. As you can tell, I was quite content. Going back to try some sushi and appetizers. Just wanted something warm for my sore throat and the soup hit the spot!

Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. Our waitress, Cathy, already seemed visibly annoyed while helping another table. Shortly after we were seated, she walked over and turned off the "Open" sign even though the restaurant was still supposed to be open for another 35-40 minutes. When I asked if we could have about five minutes to quickly look over the menu, Cathy told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes, which made us feel rushed into ordering. We completely understand that staff may want to finish up at closing time, but customers arriving during posted business hours should still feel welcomed. We ended up leaving without ordering because we felt so rushed and uncomfortable. That was especially disappointing because the restaurant looked great, and based on the menu and reviews, the food seemed like it would have been excellent. We were really looking forward to trying it, but the service experience made us decide to leave instead. Hopefully, management addresses this so future guests feel welcome throughout the restaurant's posted business hours.
