This child DESTROYS dumplings, so I asked him what happened -- he said "who puts corn and carrots in a gyoza dumpling?!?" and I can't say I disagree with him. Pork and cabbage filling - duh! Overall, totally not our jam and we probably won't revisit it. I guess the reviews are based more on folks who haven't experienced true Japanese cooking? I expected them to have meat in them but it was just rice with salmon flavored powder. We also added hot green tea to our meal. While not anything special, I do like to end my meal this way. The service was pretty good but we didn't like that our waitress stood next to our table from the moment we sat down. We felt pressured to hurry up and order, and it just made things awkward.
