Whether it's just the two of us or with a group, there have been no complaints on our end. Let's see how this visit went. We were seated once we walked in. Just like before, the decor was set up perfectly and each customer was taken care of by the wonderful staff making sure everyone was comfortable. No problems here at all. For the selections, we had pan-fried pork gyoza and I had chicken Katsudon for my entree (Sophia had her usual, chicken Katsu Ramen). Everything delivered was on point. Well-cooked and tasted great. I do wish I could add more, but when you eat regular dishes, there's nothing more to say. Thank you again Tanpopo Ramen for making Sophia and myself satisfied. Keep it up :)

We met up with a friend of mine again for dinner and were greeted by staff while seated. Inside, they have artwork dedicated to anime. They also had anime playing on the TV and K-Pop playing on the speakers. The decor is spotless and will have fans feel right at home. For the food, here's the following: -Age Tofu. This appetizer was delicious. Cooked perfectly and the sauce really helped with each bite. We've had this at other establishments so it just as good. -Sweet Heart Roll. This main dish really delivered. It's been a minute since I ate sushi and I was very pleased with this one. The raw spicy salmon and tuna along with crab were enough protein to go with avocado and crunch wrapped with soy paper. The presentation alone was perfect. Great with every bite. The spicy miso was probably the winner among the ramen bowls, with the most developed flavor. The vegetarian ramen was a little mild for us, although some chili oil helped. The pork katsu itself was excellent--crispy and flavorful and served on the side--but the ramen broth also could have used a little more depth. The surprise winner was the spicy tuna roll. I really liked it and would absolutely come back to try more of their sushi. Service was really good. One warning: bring a jacket! It was absolutely freezing inside on a hot summer evening. Our server even mentioned that she had turned the air down, but it stayed cold. Overall, some hits and misses with the ramen, but good service, excellent katsu, and sushi good enough that I'd definitely return to explore more of that side of the menu.

Broth was lukewarm/tepid due to the ice cold toppings added straight out of the fridge. The chashu tasted great. Noodles were nice and chewy. Too bad I felt like I was eating out of a bowl of spit. Overall the tuna looked quite gray in color, and the salmon was noticeably dry. Definitely not the quality I expected for the price. What really upset me was the bill at the end. The menu listed the sashimi deluxe at $25, but my check showed $33. I politely pointed this out to the waitress, and she said she would speak with the manager. When the manager came over, I was told that the waitress was new and that there is an extra charge for substitutions. The problem is that neither the waitress nor I was informed about this beforehand. What made the experience worse was the manager's attitude. She came across as rude and completely unconcerned when I explained why I was frustrated. I understand businesses have policies, but customers should be informed about additional charges before ordering, not surprised when the check arrives. I'm sharing this review so future customers are aware to ask questions about possible hidden or unexpected charges before ordering. Also, I just want to make a note that I have been coming to Nana, since Panera Bread was still next door, so this change in food quality, prices, and service is very disappointing.
