We got the sweet chili Thai wings and the soy garlic wings. Both were delicious. He said they tasted the same, but I don't fully agree they're both on the sweeter side, but you can still tell the difference in flavor. Either way, both are really good and I'd get them again. He also got the taro boba. He liked it, but I personally am not a fan of their taro boba. It has this powdery taste to me that I don't get from other places, so I usually skip the drinks there. There was a bit of a mix-up with ordering. They have a value deal where you get 6 wings + a boba for about $9.95. I accidentally ordered just the wings for $8.95 thinking I'd be getting more wings for the price. That wasn't the case it was still just 6 wings. My man got the value deal and basically got the better deal with the drink included. I tried to see if I could just pay the dollar difference to add the boba after, but they said no since the order was already placed, so lesson learned: just get the combo. Even with that, the wings are still worth it. Also, the dumplings are really good the pork ones especially. I think I liked the beef ones a little more last time, but these were still solid. Overall, I'd definitely recommend sticking with the value combo and just going for the wings and dumplings. That's the best part of the menu for me.

Although we did a pick up, the restaurant was clean and offers a very spacious dining space. The Volvo Pkwy location has ample parking. It's lunchtime and there are thousands of places to choose from and I'm going to sushi lunch…read moretomorrow so I don't necessarily want sushi two days in a row but on the other hand that would be okay with me too. But for now my friend and I are trying to choose what to eat. So I see poké on yelp and wonder what it is. Looks like a deconstructed sushi roll with no seaweed. Never had one so I thought I would check it out and this restaurant had some good reviews and wasn't to far. It's a tiny hole in the wall along a strip mall. My friend and I ordered several items. Tonkotsu broth with chicken katsu ramen with extra ramen noodles, a couple pick three protein poké bowls, salmon tataki, seaweed salad, volcano roll, coconut smoothie with added boba and rainbow jellies, and Thai Tea. Our orders are to go cause we have kids and didn't feel like having them mess the little joint up. The to go bags are absolutely the cutest! They're reusable red bags and each of us had our order neatly tucked away into them. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. And our drinks were in the bags too and had little heart stoppers on the lids so no spilling was gonna happen in my car. The food was great! I feel like I went a little to heavy in the sauces I ordered because I didn't know how it worked. So they sauce your proteins and then sauce the top of your bowl. I'm not a fan of mayonnaise and there was something creamy in my bowl and I think a squirt of Japanese mayonnaise made it in by accident. But my bowl still tasted really good. I chose salmon, tuna, and salmon tataki for my proteins and mixed with all the other mixers it was pretty good! I will definitely know what to order and what not to order for my bowl next time. The sides were a great addition. Seaweed salad is always such a fresh side to get and it was cold and crunchy and seasoned well. The volcano roll was savory and lightly fried and was really good!!! One of the better ones I've tried and it was large and the sauces on top of it were perfect. The salmon tataki wasn't my absolute favorite. There was a creamy sort of sauce on it and again I'm not a huge fan of creamy flavors on raw fish. It took away the freshness of the fish in my opinion, but that's not their failure. It's just my preference. The drinks were so delicious!!!!! They can in a neat looking slick cup, I'm am so happy that I ordered my drink at only 30% the sugar content as regular cause whoa, it was still pretty sweet but not overly sweet. The boba was delicious and soft and only very slightly chewy and the rainbow jelly made my white coconut smoothie look so pretty!!! My friends Thai Tea she said was extremely sweet but she liked it very sugary and ordered the normal 100% sugar content. The drinks alongside the savory and spicy entrees were such a good accompaniment to each other and definitely so delicious. So I'm officially hooked on pokè bowls now and boba and jelly drinks. Definitely check this restaurant out if you haven't done so! I definitely enjoyed myself and so did my friend and kids! Everyone loved everything.

I've had Amy's Bánh Mì before when my wife brought it home and it was really good. The first time I had the roast pork banh mi but it was sitting so I had to warm it up and of course re-warmed up food isn't always the best but the flavors were there. The next time she brought home the egg rolls, and I was hooked! So yesterday I was in the area and I decided to go there for lunch. I tried calling twice to place my order ahead of time but no answer, no problem, I'll just order in person. The owners were very nice and welcoming. You can tell this place is authentic, we spoke about catering an event in the future, I definitely felt the hospitality. I ordered two orders of egg rolls, a roast pork banh mi and a matcha milk tea. It maybe took about 15-20 minutes for me to get my order... while I have no problem waiting for good food, I do expect it to be fresh if I'm waiting. Sadly this wasn't the case. I wanted to try this as soon as I got in the car. The egg rolls were crispy but look warm. The roast pork banh mi was not warm at all. The pork was roasted at one point but not at the time of my order. When you order roast pork it's for the crispy pork skin, the skin was crispy whenever it was made but not when it came to me. The meat was dry as if it had been sitting from the day(s) before. And the matcha... way too much matcha, it was very gritty and herbal. But I was hesitant to get that instead of my normal Thai tea so I knew I was taking a chance on that. In conclusion, I will be back because I know that this place can make amazing food. Both dishes I had, the flavors were on point but this day it just didn't hit like it should've. I've been to Eden center in Arlington, VA and had a roast pork banh mi before, I know what it should be and this wasn't the same. I've had their egg rolls before after they've sat and they were fresher than the ones I had after receiving my food five minutes ago, respectfully. I'm only spreading awareness to the owners and this is not to tear them down or defer anyone from trying out this establishment.
