COVID-19 has been an adventure to say the least! We normaly are Pizza Hut delivery pizza people, but for some reason our local hut decided that they didn't want to do no contact delivery so we decided to get Domino's a try. I am soooooooo glad we did! First the app to order is simple and quick. The delivery time was most times about 20-25 minutes and the app updates you with each step. Now for the food. Brooklyn style pepperoni and mushrooms is the bomb. Hand tossed with salami, pepperoni and black olives, delish. But....where they really, really excell is their pasta! Al dente, and fantastic. Pasta primavera was honestly some of the best I have had. Chicken carbonara, excellent. Who knew?!! Needless to say, we aren't going back to the hut when this is all done. read more

I think when reviewing a franchise the most important factor would be that it upholds the standards you expect from that franchise. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this Domino's, it has the quality I expect from the franchise. With that being said, I usually grade franchises on a 1 to 3 star scale with the exception of sit down restaurants. Domino's has great pizza, and they really did an amazing thing by changing their image with the change in recipe's a few years ago. The garlic bread crust is amazing as well as the fresh mushrooms and other ingredients. Tonight, I stopped in for carry-out. It's tough to beat a large 3-topping pizza for $7.99. The pizza was great; fresh, hot and with plenty of toppings. So, why only 3 stars? Because whoever cut that pizza did the worst job ever! It was a Brooklyn-style pie - it wasn't like it had some impenetrable deep-dish crust. But it was barely even scored. Whoever cut it must have been using a dull plastic knife. It was practically impossible to separate the slices to eat. They are great for a chain restaurant. I order from this location once a month for pizza night with the family and am never disappointed. Always quick, and hot fresh food. Only ever had one slip-up with my order in the past two or three years, when they forgot my wings back at the store. The delivery driver was extremely polite and apologetic and had my missing wings to me in no time, and was also comped an extra order of wings on top of that. Unexpected, but appreciated! My family's it is pretty picky about our pizza. With that being said, the first thing to consider is that we live in Oak Harbor (not a lot of options for pizza places or restaurants). We contemplated about ordering from Domino's, but it was late, we were hungry and neither one of us wanted to drive to go get something for dinner. Of all the Pizza places in Oak Harbor, This is by far the best one overall. Quick service and friendly employees. Delivery is real quick and just picking up within the store front has your pizza done within 18 minutes of your order being placed. Worst service EVER even speaking to the manager. After clarifying my address SEVERAL times including the spelling, they still sent their driver to the wrong street on the completely wrong side of Oak Harbor. Then once the correct address was clarified and my pizza still didn't arrive I called and spoke to the manager Steve who LIED claiming he had already informed me that my address was outside their delivery area. No one had informed me of this until that moment. To add insult to injury, apparently it takes 3-4 days for my refund for the pizza I never received to go through, so now I Steve had wasted an hour of my time and tied up my money for almost a week. I am thrilled with the service from Domino's! The menu is easy to order from (unlike those other guys), and I LOVE the tracker! They are also so much faster! If I could give 0 stars the delivery driver calls me phone my gf answers Bc I was busy and tells her that if I'm not downstairs in 10 min she's leaving in a very bossy way not to mention I was down there before her and waited longer then 10 min and when she came to give me my food and went back to the car she yelled ur on the list meaning what ? .
