Excellent pizza....almost as good as East Coast pizza. The best pizza we have had since changing coasts in 2007.

The slices were only $6 and we added extra garlic. Wowzer... literally amazing. We need this in Seattle lol. This restaurant has probably one of the best spots in town with amazing beach view, and the staff is very charming and friendly. But all of these cannot change the fact that the food quality of this restaurant was quite average. Pizza was meh, tomato wasn't tomatoing, the crust was fine though. The pasta was so far the top two worst and saddest one I had (the other one was from Cheesecake Factory). It was literally just pasta sauce dumped over the spaghetti, the flavor was so bland so I have to sprinkle whatever seasoning I could find on the table. I wouldn't even serve myself a plate of pasta like that at home. I'd throw the pasta in the pan and at least cook with the sauce for a few minutes so the sauce and pasta can mix and mingle better. This pasta was giving newly single 43-year-old white European American man cooking his kid's birthday dinner for the first time since the divorce. This pasta should not be served on the place with such nice view. Unless people come here only for the view, not the food. The appetizer rosemary bread and olive oil dip was the highlight of the whole meal.

The best pizza ever...and I've eaten a lot of pizza in a lot of places. The pizza itself would be a…read more5. By-the-slice can be limited at the street level window due to its popularity, but I've never had a bad slice even when I ordered something I wasn't sure I'd like. When dining upstairs the service is just okay at best. The servers can be pleasantish enough, but not super-efficient in how they manage serving customers. I say that as a former wait person of 10+ years. I've been there when it's been packed and when it's pretty mellow. In the summer, upstairs can be as hot as what you think the front porch into Hell might feel like. In winter, don't sit by the windows even though they're closed. One dude making pizza and serving downstairs at the slice/pick-up window can get kind of grumpy. He reminds me of Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi." Kill him with kindness, and it'll work out in the end. In spite of that, I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather get pizza. There IS a place off a highway near Nyack, New York, but it's a MUCH longer trip. Pizza here is a solid 5, service upstairs is a 3, service downstairs is a 1-5 depending on the direction of the wind, ambience is a 3+ because even though it's really probably a 2 in most people's eyes, the building is old, funky, has history, and I like that.

Then a man came up to pay while we were waiting and after she hung up the phone, she immediately started helping him, again without acknowledging we were standing there. Pretty poor form if I'm honest, and was a not-great introduction to the business. The place was pretty packed so we had a 20-minute wait. Fine, not terrible, and we needed to eat and had no guarantees anywhere else would be faster. Tyler was our server and was one of those servers with the superhuman trait of being able to hold a table's order in his memory. I will never know how they do this. We ordered the dumplings and egg flower soup for the kiddo and veggie chow mein and crab cheese wontons for me. The kitchen was backed up so everything was coming out piecemeal (which is fine with me, I'd rather have it when it's fresh). The egg flower soup was good and the dumplings as well. My chow mein was delicious and while maybe could have used a LITTLE more sauce, was well worth it. My kiddo who isn't a chow mein eater even had some! We never got the crab cheese wontons, so whether that was a kitchen issue or a server's possibly human-after-all's memory, I'll never know. Either way it wasn't an issue as I was pretty full at that point and it would have been too much food. It was a bit overpriced for what you get but it was what we needed so I can't complain (except for that service at the front desk, which have I mentioned was terrible?).
