    Hubb's pizza
    Reena E.

So sad that my last experience at this place was the worst it has ever been since we've made this our regular "special pizza" place everytime we have a pizza craving. We have ordered the same for many times - salad, yummy bread and the Hubb's pizza. It's the perfect amount to eat while there, but also enough for that "day old" pizza, but all changed. We ordered the same but the bread was undercooked. They were busier than normal, so i actually had to get up to find our server. I found a "server" and told him that the bread was not cooked, but i was told to look for the server that actually setved us at our table cause he couldn't do anything (but after he still came by our table to ask if we needed anything When our server came, i told her about our bread and she apologized. I told her i wanted to re-order but i was also told that the bread would take a very long time to make. The pizza was not the best either. Unfortunately, it was very sloppy. The ingredients were not distributed on the pizza evenly and it just was not the same. This place has lost its touch - foodwise and service wise. but i think I'll have to find a new pizza place for my family

It's easily half the thickness that it used to be

We've always loved Hubbs and have always recommended them to others and we always get a large all meat and large Hubbs special. This time we were very disappointed that they've changed how they make them, it's noticeably made with less quality and tastes and looks cheaper. The large is now barely bigger than the medium size but also it's not Pan style anymore. It's more like a alfys style crust and not even close to as good. It's almost a thin crust. When you charge $34 a large, you better make it worth it and that's not even close to worth it. After 10 plus years of going to Hubbs, we will no longer be going there. And when you ask for a timed order, you'd hope for it to be done on time or atleast apologized to. I showed up at the time I called for and it was 15 minutes late and there wasn't a single customer in there so I'm not sure what the excuse is.

The service was the bomb, the food was delicious and the ambiance was on point. Small-town vibes and chill

Supposedly "double meat" on hubs grinder
    Aretta R.

My husband and I decided to stop at Hubb's Pizza and Pasta for dinner. My husband ordered the Hubb sub which is their version of a grinder with EXTRA meat which was 4.00 more added to the cost of the sub. I had a calzone. Our food came out in a timely manner so service was really good. No complaints on the calzone. My husband looked at his grinder and it was flat skimpy on the meat! $14.50 for just a normal sub and added extra meat for an additional $4.00 that is $18.50! My husband called a different waitress over and asked her if that was double meat and she said "yes that is how they come with the extra meat." There was barely any meat on it! Our waitress came back to the table and apologized and took the $4.00 off for the apparent extra meat we may or may not have gotten. For the money don't order the Hubb sub. If you want a grinder go to Rocket Alley and they are not stingy with the meat and they do not charge you extra and it is loaded for $12.00! Costco's roast beef sandwich is piled with the meat for less money as well. Management should be embarrassed sending that little Weiner of a sandwich out to a customer and charging $14.50 and an additional $4.00 for meat that is clearly not there. Disappointing for sure. Only getting one star for the sweet waitress and the clean atmosphere.

Good pizza! I had the the meat lovers! In my opinion the pizza was a bit salty, but the crust was to die for! I will definitely be back to try others!

Despite it being a busy holiday evening, we were seated immediately. The vibe was lively but comfortable, with most tables and the bar filled. Since we visited in February, we leaned heavily into their specials menu. We skipped the small plates and went straight for the mains: the Greek Salad with Steak, the Steak and Gorgonzola Flatbread, and the Vine Burger. Every dish was a hit, though my wife found the red wine vinaigrette on the salad to be just "okay" rather than great. For drinks, we stuck to the mocktails. We tried all three on the menu, and the Blueberry Mule (ginger beer based) was the undisputed winner. We'll have to come back for the cocktails another time since they looked promising! We capped the night with the Apple Blossom pastry with vanilla ice cream--it is a total "must-try." Overall, the service was courteous, the ambiance was spot-on, and parking was a breeze. We'll definitely be back!

The soup of the day was fantastic. A sausage, potato and kale soup. Warm, comforting and delicious! The salad was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the quinoa kale salad, with a citrus vinaigrette. There was a little quinoa and kale on top of a large amount of romaine. Not what I expected. It was also served stuffed into a small, tall sided bowl with the dressing on the side. How exactly are you supposed to dress it and eat it? My friend had the burger and fries. The burger was half the size of the bun. She literally removed 50% of the bun. It was also extremely well done. The fries were cold. They don't have decaf coffee, but I was able to order mint tea. It was brought in a cup that smelled like old coffee. The table had been cleared and I had no napkin and he didn't bring one with the tea. There was a slice of lemon I didn't want and I had no place to put it. There is potential here, I hope they pay more attention to providing a quality experience and food.

Our visit to The Armory Pickleball Club in Marysville was unfortunately ruined by an extremely unprofessional interaction with the manager, Ryan. This was our first time visiting. I had created an account ahead of time and believed I had reserved a court from 5-7 pm, but the booking system is confusing and I never received a confirmation email explaining what I had actually reserved. When we arrived, there was no staff available to greet guests or help new players understand where to go. I walked the entire facility looking for someone and even called the phone number listed, but no one answered. Since all courts were full except one, we assumed that was associated with my reservation and the four of us (on a double date) began playing. Later in the evening, Ryan approached us in a very abrupt and accusatory way assuming we were sitting there drinking and using a court without permission. I immediately showed her my reservation and explained that this was our first time there. As soon as I realized the system likely required each person to pay individually for open play, I offered to pay for the additional three players right away. Instead of handling the situation with professionalism or helping clarify the confusion, Ryan continued speaking to us in a rude and confrontational tone that felt unnecessary and disrespectful. It was especially frustrating because we were trying to do the right thing and resolve the issue immediately. Adding to the poor experience, the women's locker room had no toilet paper, and many of the tables in the seating area were covered with dirty dishes and had not been cleared. For a facility promoting a social atmosphere, basic upkeep and hospitality seemed to be lacking that evening. We had actually been having a great time until this interaction, but the way Ryan handled the situation completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun date night. Because of the way we were treated, we will not be returning.
