Had the best birthday dinner here with friends! The energy was great and the staff were so sweet, our waiter really made sure the night felt special. The food was super fresh and hot. My only minor critique is that the chicken breast was a little underseasoned, but everything else was tasty enough that I'd definitely return to explore the menu further. Hopefully you read this......... 1st and foremost, the young lady waiter did the best she could. (1) it took over 20 minutes to get service at our table. Had reservations for 11:30 am (for four). (2) it took well over 25 minutes to get brunch drinks for our table. (3) the 2nd piece of fish was embarrassing. So small it was just a tail small piece. They went back and got another. (4) I bought a $100.00 gift card when we ordered our thanksgiving meal from Hook & Cleaver. Also got a FREE $20.00 gift card. GUESS WHAT THAT FREE $20.00 card expired. The service and atmosphere were below average, and the food was no where near as good as my wife and I expected. I do enjoy Lombardi's and am sad that this is the only location left in the area. Previously this was the only place I would choose to dine at the Everett waterfront, but now many other delicious places have popped up nearby. I still appreciate their easy parking lot and that a good walk around here before or after a meal is always enjoyable. It's great to look out at the boats, see the seals, people watch, etc. The food is tasty and reliable, service is quick and friendly. Happy Hour here is a great in a time where happy hours elsewhere seem to have terrible hours or be non existent. I was recently happy to learn that this could be taken advantage of on parts of the patio as I previously thought it was available in the bar area only. Do be aware that the bar area can fill up as it is not that large. I enjoy the bruschetta sampler with the olive tapenade and the tomato basil. I also like the olive plate. Most often I get the Spaghetti Puttanesca, I love anything with capers. I am a huge fan of the bread with whole cloves of garlic in the oil. I really miss the month of garlic specials they had years ago and keep thinking I should send an email and request they bring that back. I've dined here with so many different people, I don't recall what other people eat, but it seems like they enjoy it. This makes for a great weekday lunch on a sunny summer afternoon where you can linger on the patio. I am thankful that they offer an easy to use vegetarian and gluten free menu. Hosting a professional dinner offsite brings about a number of challenges the number one challenge is being compliant with the privacy guidelines of the given presentation. A fair experience. My girl friend and I came here on a weekday for happy hour. We weren't very clear on specifics of happy hour so we asked to sit by the window. Happy hour is only at the bar and outside patio so we decided on the outside patio. They have a pretty good variety for happy hour. We got the calamari, bruschetta with 2 spreads (olive tapenade and the goat cheese) and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. We definitely loved the calamari! It was chewy and was breaded well. The bruschetta with choice of spreads was also delicious! The mango tango drink was good too -- I had it non-alcoholic. There was one thing that didn't leave a good impression: 1) happy hour is only dine-in and wasn't made clear to us about the to-go. So my girl friend who got a pizza to go was charged full price when we got the bill. After the apologies and communication, we had let it go but just be aware of this if you plan to order "to-go" from happy hour.. Also -- please note there is a 4.5% service fee when you get the bill! Eeehh, it's okay I guess. Service was maybe a tad slow, but otherwise great. The window view of the Marina is quite nice. I ordered a seasonal entree, some kind of ravioli. I think it was a butternut squash ravioli? I really liked the overall flavor profile of this dish. However, I think the pasta here is....just okay. I also ordered lamb meatballs with the dish, which I enjoyed due to the fact that they're lamb meatballs, but their umami was otherwise unremarkable. The portion size was probably on the smaller end also. So, if that had been all, this probably would've been a 4 star review. But I came here on a date and also got to try the chicken Parmesan. Unfortunately, I thought it was worse than my ravioli. I found it to be a generically bad American chicken breast. All of the moisture on it came from the tomato, cheese, and breading. The chicken itself was as dry as a desert. Also, it's pretty thin. It's like half breading. Furthermore, there was a long strand hair in the Brussels sprouts from someone. Some people would probably give a one star review after seeing that, but I don't care that much. This kind of stuff happens. More importantly, I also wasn't 100% that it wasn't her own hair. She seemed sure that it wasn't, so....it is what it is. Plus, the waitress discounted her entree after she showed them the hair, which counts for a lot. My apartment recently had a holiday event where Lombardi's did the food catering. The good: clean, hygienic, service was good. That's it. The Bad: Probably some of the worst Italian food I've ever had. Even frozen pasta from a gas station might have more flavor. Every dish was practically a big gloopy cheese mess. 0 hint of any kind of flavor. This is Italian food! Where is the garlic?! I mean at this point, ANY kind of flavoring might redeem it. The Alfredo and Tortellini felt like cheesy goo that smelled like water, meaning no smell at all. The spaghetti looks red, but it felt like 1 small tomato's flavor was spread among the 5 lb food. Meatballs had some kind of strong oregano or some kind of flaky smell. This is extremely amateur level, very lazily done cooking. Usually you'd want to put your best food forward in such events, since you get to make many potential customers. This kind of pasta is not worth spending any amount. Hope they hire better cooks, or learn to make their food have atleast some flavor. read more

We used to be regulars, but that has changed in recent years. The food and service have slowly but surely declined. After a year's absence, we decided to go give it another try. It was very disappointing right from the start. After being seated for abot 15 minutes, our server said she'd be right back. We watched her chat at the bar and proceed to forget about us. We had to hunt down another staff member to get her to finally come back to our table. She then got our drink order wrong twice and then tried to blame is for it. Our food was mediocre as usual, but at least the prices weren't sky high. Not worth making another trip. read more

The Chocolate Mousse which came with the three course menu was the only disappointment. Overly sweet and tasted closer to a pudding even though it had consistency of Mousse. We stopped here on our way to Anacortes for the weekend. A little off the freeway, but worth the stop. Cute decor, clean bathrooms and ample parking for lunch on a Friday. Server was cold but efficient. Focaccia bread with oil and garlic came with the meal. Focaccia was good, but the garlic and oil was the star. We got the crab and shrimp cakes. No filler and all meat. Aïoli on top was good but nothing to write home about. I got the Puttanesca which was chefs kiss, briney and tomatoey deliciousness. Hubs got soup and salad. It was a Friday so clam chowder was on deck. He liked it fine, but not many clams or chunky potatoes like he likes. Very creamy. The Cesar salad was lately dressed with parm shavings. Perfection. We were in for a celebration and had the best time. The menu was pretty extensive with a lot of options to choose from. Everyone was very happy with their meals, even the kids who are sometimes hard to please but they loved the clams. Dinner with a sunset was a plus and Amber was patient and so kind. HH review In short Good prices at HH that let you snack or eat a meal. Spectacular setting. Bar is pretty solid, kitchen has some genuine potential. I doubt I'd pay full price to eat here unless a group chose it and I tagged along. In long These guys are real pros, with many locations and more than one concept in the group. This location is right on the water with a nice marina view and great sunsets. Huge building with giant dining rooms. Maybe not the biggest restaurant ever, but just the bar is as big as many successful places. Staff are friendly and know what they're doing. We scooted right into the bar, which is where you get the HH menu. There's patio seating off the bar, and the main dining room has huge windows looking at boats and water and pretty things. It was mid-afternoon and kinda slow. There were 3 staff chatting behind the bar during and after making our first round of drinks. Gotta ding them for standing there for several minutes with us 5 feet away watching them...not bring us our drinks. I get it. I've worked f&b in my life. Some shifts are slow. But we can clearly see you delaying our drinks for a while for no real reason. Just keep chatting while you bring them over! We don't care. Anyway, the drinks were alright. Cocktails are the focus of quite a few places along the Everett waterfront now, and these guys are pretty much outgunned. They do have a nice lineup of old favorites and creative twists in the bar menu, along with good wines and beers, but things tended to be a little out of balance in each of the 4 drinks we ended up having. A little sweet, or medicinal, or bitter, or overdone with one of the flavored ingredients (almon liqueur in one pour). Nothing awful, and the prices at HH are good, and the second round showed up fairly quickly, just not quite keeping up with the competition around here. The kitchen is confusing. Some tricky things were done well, and the quality of ingredients is high across the board. But some choices seem off, and execution can be hit or miss. Table bread They bring out very herbaceous soft airy bread as soon as you sit. You get olive oil with spreadable garlic cloves soaking in it. It's all tasty, but I swear I could feel sticky dough when I pulled out a slice. Like the bread is undercooked. Looked fine, though, and tasted good. Meatballs 3 2-oz meatballs for $9. Not a bad price, not quite a HH deal of a price. There's some cheese, some marinara, a few herbs. Kinda under-seasoned for me but a successful dish overall. Ahi carpaccio The toughest dish to enjoy. Nice addition to the menu, and seemed like really good fish. Overcooked, though, and the capers were tough to get on the fork. Some nice bitter greens and tart onions with it. Garlic bread Ordered before we knew we were getting table bread. Good stuff. Marinara for dipping, nice crunch on the outside and chewy on the inside. Good as a base to make little meatball or tuna pizza-ish bites. Calamari Dipping sauce was good. Overcooked squid. It's a steak style, rather than rings and tents, but sliced so thin you almost can't tell. Maybe it's trimmings? I'm usually in the mood for calamari, but the breading was kinda thick on this and overwhelmed the flavor. We were out the door for 4 plates and 4 glasses, with a decent tip, for under $120, which isn't too bad these days. But there's nothing here I'd crave having again. At their full retail prices I'd be somewhat disappointed. read more

Today, we had the pleasure of dining at Lombardi's in Everett. The experience was amazing! We try to stop in at Lombardi's whenever we're driving through Everett. Today we had the poached pear seasonal salad, the chicken marsala, the chicken club, a Caesar salad and the chocolate mousse. Everything was wonderful, including the bread! But I should mention our server, Cadence. She was excellent! Very attentive and friendly. She made a great meal even better! In fact, everyone working at Lombardi's today was great! This place used to be so good! Unfortunately in the recent year things have gone down hill I've gone 3 times and each time they've taken so long to take my order or bring me my food. When we finally got the meal, it was good, even though they substituted the mashed potatoes because they burned them for seasonal veggies.... Tonight I took my husband to Lombardi's for his birthday dinner. We do go out occasionally, but I wanted to mix it up a bit. We normally end up at a place in Mukilteo. Tonight, however, I wanted to try a place we haven't been to for a while. The last time we went to Lombardi's was during the pandemic. We had ordered groceries. When we did that, I knew at some point we would go back after the pandemic was over and tonight was the night! I reserved a table for us, for 6:30 pm on a Sunday night. I'm so very glad that I did that. I don't think we would've gotten seated had I not made a reservation. W e arrived at 6:20 PM. The waiting area was fairly full and as I looked out towards the restaurant, there did not look to be one open table. I noticed a few people come in and at that point the weight was approximately 20 to 25 minutes. My take away to that is if you plan to go to Lombardi's s on a Sunday evening, make sure you have reservations or you're going to wait for a bit. I would say Lombardi's is doing something right if most of their tables are full on a Sunday evening. We ordered appetizers and entrées along with two ice teas. The appetizers we ordered were the bruschetta with chive goat cheese, and angelica della morte. Unfortunately I did not get pictures of this. I will say though the crostini bread was slathered in butter and toasted perfectly. It was presented on a rectangle plate with I believe around eight pieces of crostini bread slices, a scoop of goat cheese, a scoop of angelica della morte, and tomatoes. For those of you who do not know what angelica della morte is, it is a soft cheese with garlic and pepper. Our second appetizer was a variety of brined olives, covered with fennel seeds and other spices. Both appetizers were so tasty I think I might go back just to go through all the appetizers that Lombardi's serves. For dinner, I ordered the chicken parmigiana with roasted brussels sprouts and buttered fettuccine. My husband ordered Sicilian Lamb Meatballs with sauce of caramelized onions, figs, pomegranate. I have to say the chicken parmigiana was amazing and the side vegetable of the roasted brussel sprouts changed my life. I've never liked brussels sprouts. I've tried it many ways, tonight changed how I feel about brussels sprouts. They were amazing. Don't know all the things they did to that vegetable but I would go just to have that, it was that good! The parmesana chicken was a huge serving. In fact, the whole plate was a huge serving. It could've fed two people. My husband said that the meatballs were amazing as well. He never had anything like it and definitely wants to go back to try other things that they have on the menu. For a sit down dinner, we spent $111 for the tip, two appetizers, two drinks and two entrées. Something to be aware of the restaurant does tack on a percentage to pay for medical insurance and other benefits for their employees with our check it worked out to $3, I don't have a problem with paying extra for that but I believe that it would be better served just to add it onto the price of an entrée or an appetizer or whatever it is you're ordering instead of putting that verbiage at the bottom of the menu. Our server was named Aurora. She was very sweet and she did a good job. She was very accommodating as well. I asked for additional sauce to take home so that I could have my leftovers with some fresh sauce, and she included that in my take away items. All in all we had a really enjoyable meal. This is definitely a place where you can have a nice dinner with a small or large group. The atmosphere while active was not too loud. It had a nice ambience. You are right on the water. I would only say as our days get longer and we get to see the evening sunsets it would be a beautiful place to enjoy it! I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

The first time I came here I had a great experience, food was fantastic and service was great. The pizza was easily one of my favorite margherita pizzas I've had, and I came back hoping for more of the same. I came back excited, but I was left so dissatisfied with what I got. Ambiance is beautiful, greeted warmly and seated immediately. Bread was served quickly with roasted garlic in oil and was delicious. Waitress was exceptional. Hubby had seafood pasta special and he stated was delicious. I had special pot roast panini. We also had pear salad... very good. Entrees served were a bit unappealing, but hubby stated seafood pasta was very good. My panini was a bit skimpy but had good flavor. Grand 75 drink was very tasty. On a recommendation while in town we went here and were pleasantly surprised. We had the pesto clams (very good) and shared a mushroom ravioli. The focaccia bread was yummy as was the garlic butter to dip. I ate some garlic cloves and they were sweet soft and yummy! Not too impressed with the mushroom ravioli though. It didn't have much flavor and I was super bummed. Very bland. The ravioli itself was delicious but the sauce needed some pizazz. All in all it was still a great place to eat! It's not our fault that when she brought our last drinks at ten till 6 she walked off so fast I tried to say something but she was gone right away. We ended up getting wedge salads . They were really tasty. She came by after we were done eating and asked if we'd like anything else . We said we were ready for our check. They have nice little seating booths and tables. There is also a bar area for happy hour. I tried the mango tango and Marionberry mule. Both were delicious. Food wise, we ordered off of the happy hour menu. Portion sizes are pretty good. 1. Crispy calamari - meh, not the best I've had but they were well seasoned and the sauce was very nice that came with them. 2. Sliders with fries - very nice! Place was okay. Needs to be taken care of better. The service was awful. We felt like the waitress was our grandma telling us what not to do and what not to order. The whole time it felt like whatever we asked was met with a frown. Cranky waitress to say the least. They already add the tip in your bill, maybe that's why they don't try hard at all since they will get the tip they set up no matter what. Now, the food, was not good. Didn't taste like good quality fresh food. Too much pesto sauce in one of our dishes, ended up looking like a soup bowl at the end when the pasta was gone. The sauce that goes with the salmon and capers was so bitter and acidly, way too strong that once you had that sauce, you couldn't state anything else. The hamburger patty was somehow lukewarm inside the bun. Way too many things did not taste fresh and withgood quality ingredients. I would not recommend this place. There are a lot of people working there and most of them do not have a good attitude and are not welcoming. Most of them are gathering at different places in the restaurant and talking away instead of taking care of the customers. Not a good experience for sure. The place is a bit dated and could use a facelift and could use a change in the ambiance by making a bit more modern or more basic and classic style. read more

Every time I visit Washington State my friends like to meet up here, I mean it was cool back then but it just doesn't have the same feel anymore. I had the tuscan prawn appetizer, bruschetta sampler, lobster ravioli, and their sangria specials. Didn't like my expensive five pieces of ravioli but everything else was okay, I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here. I did pick up some of the angelica della morte to take home to my parents. When you order ice cream, just remember that you can order two different flavors because you do get two scoops. read more
