Great food and service here at Dolsie's. I have become a regular here and am never disappointed even when trying different menu choices each time. The walk up counter for ordering is cafe style and the dining area and setup have a 50's diner feel, but the food is out of this world! The prices are also fair when considering the portion sizes. Most of the menu isn't health food, but it's good home cooking. The Ollie fries are served with a cheese sauce and are a must have. read more

Outstanding food, excellent Philly. The Olies are a bit overrated but a nice mix up from normal fries. Service was outstanding. Will be back to try the pastrami. And probably another time for more Philly, and then again for the fish tacos. You get the point. If you haven't been there before, it is worth checking out. One of the only places I can remember thinking how distinct the lack of salt taste in the food was, not a bad thing on the Philly, Olies needed a bit. read more

They are only open from 10am-2pm so it makes it hard to get there if you don't work close by. I have been waiting to try them for over a year and finally on a day off we went for lunch. All I an say is it was worth the wait!! The bacon cheeseburger was amazing and the ollies with cheese are my new favorite! The service was outstanding and all of the staff were incredibly friendly. A co-worker and I had lunch here and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the Canadian Walleye sandwich, onion rings and olies. Topped it off with a Banana cream pie cupcake which was really moist and just the right sweetness. You really have to try them for a great lunch. read more

My husband I absolutely love this place and the owners. The food is incredible and holds true to their slogan of "you'll crave it". We try to get their every Friday and are sad if we dont. My husband gets the Strami with slaw every week and will recomend it to all first timers. I have tried a few things and am never dissapointed but must say the fish tacos have become my favorite. We read the good reviews and thought we would check it out. My husband ordered a 1/2 lb burger(not toasted) and ollies and I ordered a gyro and tots with a side of ranch. The lady at the counter told me a might take a while because of all the changes we made. (A side of ranch and a non toasted bun.) Really? Anyway, after paying she yells out to pay attention to the next order because of all the changes. How embarrassing! The whole coffee shop turned and looked. I wanted to yell out it was a side of ranch and a non toasted bun!!! Anyway, the 1/2 lb burger turned out to be two patties instead of one and very greasy. My husband was sick the rest of our day and we were traveling. The rest of the food was edible, but could get the same or better at other places. read more

I rarely get the chance to eat lunch out, so I was looking forward to trying Dolsie's. I was pleased with the variety of the menu, but when I asked for a glass of water with my sandwich, I was told that I had to buy a drink if I wanted one. I think that providing a glass of water is a minimum standard of service and hospitality, especially at a restaurant where people sit to eat. The Cod Po'Boy sandwich was fine, but I doubt I'll return. read more

Wow today I had the best fish sandwich that I've ever had, and I eat a lot of fish sandwiches. My family was in downtown St. Cloud for the first time and we stopped in at Dolsie's Grille based on internet comments about their Walleye fish sandwiches. Did I mention that I love fish sandwiches? :) Anyway, we walked in just before the big lunch rush, ordered right away, and it took maybe 8 minutes for lunch to arrive. Two of us ordered the Walleye sandwich. The Walleye fish itself was humongous, lightly breaded with a nice crisp without being hard or over fried. Spectacular taste. The fish was in a large and soft white bun with tomatoes, and it came with Tartar sauce on the side which I added to the fish. This was the first time I had tomatoes with a fish sandwich and I was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful combination. After taking a bite of our sandwich, daughter said next time she's ordering the Walleye too. We also ordered their french fries. They were the shape of silver dollars. I loved them as is while my wife and daughter would have preferred them to be a bit more crispy. The gal at the cash register taking order was charming. Ambience was very good, the place was clean, and I am certainly going to drive back to St. Cloud just for another Walleye sandwich! read more
