She even commented that my 19 month old daughter was giving her a "nasty look," which felt particularly inappropriate. When my food arrived, I was holding and feeding my infant, yet my plate was placed across the table instead of within reach. The food was decent, but unfortunately, the overall experience overshadowed it. We came in hoping for a welcoming small town diner experience, and instead, we left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope management takes this feedback constructively, as simple gestures of kindness, patience, and attentiveness can make a significant difference in a guest's experience. I had the pleasure of trying out this newly opened, family-friendly restaurant this past weekend and it was fantastic! I love going out to breakfast on the weekends and this is definitely my new go-to spot. First off, the restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and prompt. I ordered the Coach House Platter and it came out quickly and looked and tasted great! I am pretty critical of breakfast places, so when I give 5 stars you know it's the real deal! ...and this place is a MUST. My eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was crispy and fresh but not too crispy - just perfect. I will be going back often. They offer a variety of traditional breakfast/brunch food so definitely check it out if you're in the area! You will thank me. read more

Everything I've tried has been very tasty. It's great for the price and what you'd expect from a place like this. It's not a 5 star gourmet restaurant and you shouldn't expect that, but, for a down-home diner they do it really well. I'm not going to knock off any stars, because this place does a great job in general, but in case any of the management reads this I have feedback. 1. The slowest part of the whole operation is being seated and cashing out. Both of these occur with the host/hostess. It's a single person, and having them seat people, and most times the host will bring them their drinks, ensures that everyone else continues to wait. It's a bottleneck. Even when tables are free. Occasionally I've seen the host standing a few feet back into the kitchen area wrapping silverware or whatever and unable to see someone waiting for them. I get that you want to keep someone you are paying busy at all times, but that also causes more wait while they finish their secondary task and return to the cashier station. The customer should come first. 2. They seem to do this odd thing where the wait staff doesn't have a dedicated section of tables. Instead, each person that comes in is given a colored poker chip that is placed on their table and they just rotate through the colors (which indicate a waitress). I guess this makes it so every wait staff gets an equal number of customers, but you also get this weird situation where the table sitting in front of you, and the table behind you, could all have a different waitress. Three people stopping by the same area at different times. Seems super inefficient. I can generally get someone else's waitress to bring me a refill or whatever, but it makes it harder to flag down yours, when they are crisscrossing the place. I mean, it's their place and their system works for them. It is what it is. Just have some patience and expect a bit of a wait to be seated and again to cash out. It's not somewhere to visit if you are in a rush. It's more of a lesuirely weekend morning type of place. Worth stopping by!
