    Fried chicken ans cole slaw

We ended up there by accident. The food and service was amazing! We will be back often. Well worth the drive!

Chicken Tender dinner with garlic bread, house slaw, and garlic parmesan dip. Hock and Kraut dinner with potatoes. - The image shows a table with a plate of fried chicken pieces, garlic bread with a small cup of dipping sauce, a small bowl of salad with lettuce and cucumber, and a large roasted meat dish on a separate plate. There is also a glass of soda with ice and a glass of water. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment.

We love Keeks! It has great food and an extensive menu, so it'll satisfy whatever you are craving. Every third Thursday they have hocks and kraut which is a popular day that we love to go to. Not too expensive either. It has a fun, local restaurant atmosphere and is connected to a liquor store.

Wings and slaw - A large white plate holds fried chicken drumsticks, French fries, and a side of coleslaw topped with cucumber slices. Accompanying the meal is a small container of ketchup. In the background, a smaller plate contains three dipping sauces, including two brown gravies and one white sauce. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment with utensils placed on the table.

Exceptional food and wonderful service. Our waitress was a gem and truly attentive. Our drinks stayed full and the conversation was delightful. The wings were huge and meaty, the pizza was perfectly balanced, the lasagne was robust and full of cheese, and our teen age daughter said the Mac and cheese was better than her favorite 'noodles' place! High praise! We were even granted an audience with the owner and chef who was very personable and genuine. This place is worth the drive.

    Keeks side salad! Only $4

What can I say other, I wish I lived closer to this place. Affordable and high quality grub. The salad I had was fresh and mixed greens instead of plain romaine, or the dreaded bowl of iceberg. Best kraut pizza I've had in a long time. Flakey crust and delicious sausage set this above the others I've had. The burgers are good size and come with a few interesting toppings. I should also add that our waitress was friendly and attentive. What a great little find, you have to look for it though, it's in the same building as the liquor store and yelp and google gps will put you about 2 mi west of the actual location. Worth the hunt.

This was really good with nice large salads and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was a little dull but clean and comfortable. Service was good but for a group of six and nobody else there, it did take a full hour. The Keeks vinegerette was delicious!

Our server informed us that the owner studied in New York, managed Noodles and Co and that majority of the menu is made from scratch.

Stopped in here this evening to grab some dinner. Was not disappointed. We arrived shortly after a…read moreparty bus for a wedding did so we knew we would have a little wait. And of course everywhere is short staffed due to COVID. Three of the six staff we encountered tonight were all very friendly. And I appreciated that no one seemed annoyed by my three small children who are very loud. I love the decor in this establishment. It's rustic farm meets garage. They music playing was 90's rock/light rock. They have probably a 12/14 seat bar in the front and then a small bar in that the back I'm assuming for busy nights. They had probably -2 tables inside and a nice size patio for seating as well. I liked that the table has a roll of paper towels on a dispenser. I feel like restaurants are so stingy about napkins. Not here. We started with an order of mozzarella sticks. I liked that we got like 8 or 10 of them because most places you only get 6. My fiancé ordered the SOB burger and very much enjoyed it. It was a large stacked burger with cheese, lettuce, onion, bacon, and more. He ordered onion rings as his side and got a got amount of them. I just ordered a cheeseburger with a side of fries and ranch. My burger was so flavorful and tasty. This was definitely not a frozen patty tossed on the flattop. I'm certain these are handmade burgers. My side of fries was not shorted. Now for the ranch. This place make their own sauces and I will come back just for that. The flavor of this ranch was phenomenal.

It took 70 minutes to get our food, with no warning or explanation for when it would come…read more The hamburger was so over cooked and dry that it was hard to eat, coming from a butcher that is claiming such high quality of meat this was a surprise. I'm trying to think of any place at any time where a hamburger was so bad, but can't come up with anything. It wasn't burnt, it just tasted like it was cooked from frozen and sat on the grill for the entire 70 minutes we waited and slowly heated the life out of the meat. It was almost like they wanted it to be horrible. I've never been to a place that charged for fried onions on the burger. French fries were clearly from frozen and the freezer burn taste was strong. And due to the wait, arrived cold. We did have wings that were pretty good, sauces were nicely done. As far as ambiance, there were tons of televisions but all were showing the game show network, really? The NBA playoffs were on and we're showing Family Feud on every single TV, weird. This was the only food place in town that was open, in the future we'll go to another town. And I will not be visiting the butcher either, if you can't cook a burger I have doubts you'd know how to butcher the meat. I'm surprised the people who live in Kimball would ever go to this place.
