Egg combo with ham
Nancy E.

We met some friends here for lunch. It is kind of a halfway point for us. Nice family diner vibe. Breakfast all day along with burgers, sandwiches and salads. I ended getting the breakfast combo. My husband got the Reuben sandwich with tots. Everything was good. We had great service as well. Felt welcome to sit and visit after our lunch. Thank you

My family and I LOVE coming to Rebecca's Cafe! Such a great place to get brunch. The eggs Benedict and sausage biscuits is yummy but really can't go wrong with anything.

Lake Cafe - Half of a chicken fried steak breakfast. No home fries and no toast included. The walleye dinner was just as bad.

Lilly was attentive and helpful with recommendations despite it being a packed house. Apparently we…read morehit the broasted chicken buffet night which is very popular. Chicken strips off the senior menu were also like broasted and very good. We weren't looking for huge portions! The new decor was super cute and everything you'd expect from a long time cafe in a small town. Also when Lilly found out it was my birthday she brought out a little something to celebrate. Definitely a good experience.

I hadn't visited Lake Cafe in about 10 years, but after hearing about Chef Ramsay's visit and the…read morerestaurant's upgrades, I was excited to bring my family in for breakfast. Unfortunately, the service fell well below our expectations. Upon arrival, we stood by the entrance for several minutes without being greeted or given direction. We also had to ask for a high chair for our young children rather than having one offered to us. Throughout our visit, our waitress came across as unfriendly and impatient. There were several uncomfortable interactions while ordering, including being interrupted and spoken to with an unnecessary attitude. She even commented that my 19 month old daughter was giving her a "nasty look," which felt particularly inappropriate. When my food arrived, I was holding and feeding my infant, yet my plate was placed across the table instead of within reach. The food was decent, but unfortunately, the overall experience overshadowed it. We came in hoping for a welcoming small town diner experience, and instead, we left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope management takes this feedback constructively, as simple gestures of kindness, patience, and attentiveness can make a significant difference in a guest's experience. I also hope every family who visits is treated with the same warmth and respect.
