I looked at Big Lots near me and this location had the item in stock and for Curbside pickup. However, I ended up having to go inside, because the next day I caught another/better deal that was worth obtaining. I was a day late for picking up the item, but don't judge me...Judge Big Lots amazing discounts! Anyways, right when I pulled up to the store I noticed a Big Lots Crew Member helping someone to their car with the biggest smile on their face. I knew at that moment I was going to have a great experience. I walked and was greeted instantly by the cashier (who was helping another customer). Now if anyone knows me--great Customer Service will have me come back to an establishment and spend my hard earned coin (Okay)! So at this point, I asked to be pointed in the direction to Curbside Pickup and was quickly introduced to Twaine who helped me from there. First lemme just say I love biglots in general…read more This was our first time at this location since moving near by and the store was clean and organized. They even have a frozen food section. They have loads of seasonal items and great stuff for great prices. Sometimes you can even find a deal so good it's a sin NOT to buy. The cashier/manager was very nice and personable and informed us about the buzz club rewards and a coupon if we sign up. we were in a bit of a hurry but will definitely be returnong patrons to this location.

The cashier took one look at my cart and called the manager without even saying one word to me or even look at me but did continue conversation with other customers. It was very rude and unprofessional. Felt as if she didn't want to work. Manager came over and told me they couldn't serve me. She then Took my cart and asked me to leave!!! The entire time I was conversing normally but expressing confusion as to why they wouldn't service me. I left & Contacted corporate but never got a response. I was treated poorly and felt as if I had done something wrong. I will be perusing contact with corporate regarding my terrible experience. Taj was a poor example of a leader and didn't handle the situation appropriately. Allowed two cashier employees to almost start conflict involving other customers instead of handling the situation herself. Made me feel unsafe and unwelcome just for being a customer. When I lived in England for sure they had to print out labels in English to stick onto food packages if there was no English already printed on them----and basic nutrition info as well (like our RDA's... this was like 20 yrs ago I'm only guessing this is still true).
