The day before, I was there for another order and the same employee was friendly and handing out samples. This time, the attitude was completely different and unprofessional. The service was piss poor, frustrating, and unacceptable. It also seems especially difficult for Instacart shoppers. The deli staff appear unwilling to assist with ready-made pickup items, and workers direct people to knock on the silver double doors in the back, where no one responds. If this is how customers and delivery shoppers are treated, management needs to address it immediately.

So, Kroger has taken to hiring a burly armed guard near the exit who checks customers' receipts.
