I bought two bags of sail wild red Argentine raw shrimp from Marietta Ga restaurant depot on 10 th September , the total price is $35.06. On 13 rd September I opened the frist bag rinsed shrimps so many times and cooked them,I ate shrimps and there were a lot of sands in my mouth. At that night, my skin felt very itchy.I took another bag of shimp went to Marietta restaurant depot to return it two times,But even though I showed there are a lot of sands all over the shrimps in front of the cashier in the store, the manager still rudely refused return it because it is over three days return times frame. Eating shimps with sands is not healthy and would cause many diseases. Store should be responsible for the quality problem of the sold product ,cannot use store return time frame to avoid responsibility . People only shop here because they carry some Items that are not easily available in other stores. As far as the customer service and the people that work there... the worst! It's not only this location, pretty much all of their locations they have horrible customer service. It's not the employees fault. It's management. To allow this to happen on such a massive scale shows you that the management knows their customer service is horrible and they don't care. Worst Customer Service : 1) Restaurant Depot 2) Sam's Club. Let me be clear. When I say customer service I'm talking about from the ladies answering the phone all the way to the people driving them forklifts as if they are driving on a racetrack to the 2 people they have on the cash register while the place is full of people. To the people that sits in the offices by the door pretending to be completely detached to what's going on in the store. So if there is a manager that Wants to chastise the people that work Under them.. please stop. The problem is you too! Even work attire. Lady with the short hair at the registers was so rude beyond words. Then she messed up my change and when I went back in to get the rest she rolled her eyes at me. Told me she now has to close the register because she's not about to lose money because of me. Disgusting attitude. Get a different job if you hate this one. read more

I visited the Marietta store today and there were so many people on line trying to pay for their goods and there were only 2 registers open... I had to leave my goods.... my business is more important! I'm very disappointed with how this store is managed. read more

This place is so huge that you can really get lost between the isles. However, the staff is always helpful and willing to direct you to the right direction. Had to go there twice last week to get some eight way cut chicken and mushrooms. John at the freezer section helped me both times. Cashiers are courteous and check you out quickly. read more

The Restaurant Depot has everything you need. I have been shopping here for my business needs longer than I can remember. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I need assistance with finding a product, lifting a box, or checking out. This location is conveniently located in the middle of Marietta. There is plenty of parking and rolling giant shopping carts available. read more

After reading some of the reviews here by people who are obviously from East Cobb or Dunwoody I feel compelled to offer this advice: If you are an AVID cook or professional this is the place for you. If you are a "food tourist" like the type that go to Whole Foods walking around with no idea how to make great food, just knowledge about eating it, STAY AWAY!! Unfortunately most people on Yelp have NO IDEA what it takes to make good quality food but they do know how to bitch about things. This is a WHOLESALE WAREHOUSE not Fresh Market with people trained to put up with whiny demanding east Cobb snobs!! Do NOT expect personal attention! In fact YOU are expected to be a big boy or girl who pulls up their big boy pants or big girl pants, FINDS what they want and pays WAY LESS than at a retail outlet. Anybody who expects to pay the prices they charge here for the type of quality they provide AND Receive personal attention and handholding needs to buy a clue. Most of the employees in the store need to be thought customer service! It seems that most of them hate their job or something like that! I am in heaven! This is the Publix of restaurant supply stores. This place has everything that a person whom loves to cook needs. Even frozen foods. So y'all can pass off some fancy shrimp, beef or chicken dish to your family as if you made it yourself. Hey. I'm guilty. Stouffers and I make a hell of a mac N cheese! And I have never seen such humongous pots and pans before in my life. Maybe this is were the bad witches in kids storytellers come to get the pots that they cook the innocent, but probably bad azz kids in? IJS! Anyway. I'll post pics later. read more

I've been going here for years and this place is truly amazing from 5-50lbs of vegetables, every protein imaginable everything you would need to open up a restaurant or make a heck of a gourmet meal. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable and if you can't find something they'll take you right to it many, many things you can't find anywhere else so if your lucky enough to have a card you know what I'm talking about. read more

The products I find here are good and prices are fair but every time I shop at restaurant depot by experience is ruined by out of stock items and inattentive employees. They make me feel like they are doing me a favor and that I'm annoying them by needing their assistance. I started sending employees to RD just because I left upset every time.
