I thought my hair would melt but they were very gentle and had to wash out the color in stages. It's not perfect but close considering what they were working with. I can't say enough good things about Apple! I was referred to Apple by a friend who always has the best color after I saw a photo of rainbow hair on instagram and decided to go for it. She made my dreams come true exactly! I hadn't dyed my hair in a long time (since I grew out my gray 6 years before) so I was nervous, but Apple listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable. The first visit took a while since we had to lighten the hair before the color could go on. Apple was so fun to talk to and the time flew by! We talked about self love, crystals, the power of words and the BLM movement. Definitely time well spent and I left with some great tips. For example she mixed two different bleach mixtures to make sure my regrowth and my previously faded-red-box-dyed hair would lighten the same amount.
