After many months of research, I found this beautiful salon and found Pedro. Pedro patiently took the time to discuss what I was looking for, along with realistic expectations, and performed the biggest transformation on me. Pedro is seriously a miracle worker and a true artist. I could not have found anyone better and am so thankful to have had such an amazing experience. If I could give 100 stars in this review I would. Pedro took my previous blonde that had brown dye over it, a band of red from base bumping, extremely dry ends, areas of new growth, and transformed my hair into a beautiful and healthy dimensional blonde. I don't know how Pedro pulled this off, but years of expertise, knowledge and experience, along with quick thinking, and love for the art was very obvious in the results I obtained from Pedro. Kimberly is the best stylist/colorist I've ever had and I've had quite a few, all over the states! She's got loads of experience and keeps current with a lot of education, really listens, and gently talks me down from anything crazy that won't work with my hair. I initially saw her to correct a horrible haircut I got elsewhere and since have been three times for high/lowlights and cuts. Disappointing experience for $125. My wash, cut, and style only took 45 minutes and ended up with awkward blunt sections, not parted where I part my hair, and without any noticeable effort to match the inspiration picture. The only thing that felt salon quality was the price, and I'm not even sure what I was charged for. Much better experiences elsewhere in Austin. read more

5 Stars doesn't do Dolce Salon, or the owner, Cris, justice!!! Let me take you on a little journey, if I may... I started my career as a Realtor® at a small brokerage in February 2020--right before the world shut down. Keeping my hair in top shape wasn't exactly a priority. Most days, I'd throw it up or braid it to the side--always professional, but never something I gave much thought to. Fast forward three years, and a great new opportunity had presented itself career-wise--woohoo! But my hair? It had grown past the small of my back, riddled with split ends that would make Miss Havisham blush. The idea of walking into a salon after years of neglect filled me with dread. Would I be met with judgment? A lecture on my choice of shampoo? Thankfully, Cris at Dolce Salon made sure that wasn't my experience at all! She was incredibly kind, gave me a fantastic cut, and even shared expert advice on how to properly care for my hair. Since my first visit in 2023, I haven't let anyone else touch it!
